The next time free snacks and drinks came around, I made sure to grab some! I also appreciated the few extra inches of leg room in every row. Being 6'3", not many planes are designed with your comfort in mind. I fit fairly comfortably in a non-emergency row seat. Last time I flew to Baltimore for work, I had a terrible experience with a different airline. It was $200 less expensive than most airlines, but I ended up paying more in baggage fees and seats. It was only a 1 hour flight and My boss said, "Cheap things usually cost you more, in money, time, and emotion" and nothing has been truer. I always assumed that flights were always unpleasant experiences. Now, I know better."

Not that I'm expecting a luxury experience while flying economy, but I felt as though the headrest was farther back than average. I can usually fall asleep on a plane and wake up without neck pain, but I really struggled to even figure out a relaxing position this time around. I also did not know that JetBlue did not serve meals on cross-country flights. Or, on any flights for that matter. Had I known, I probably would've picked up a breakfast sandwich before boarding."

I appreciate that the flight boarded and departed on time and landed slightly early. However, the plane was completely full (I suspect overbooked) and took a long time to board, during which time the CO2 level in the cabin climbed over 2,200 ppm, which is NOT SAFE given that COVID-19 is still being transmitted at a substantial rate across most of the country and airlines no longer require passengers to mask. Also, the midflight credit card sales pitch was tacky. It's like our airlines are being run by Ferengi.
As it was a very short flight, there was no food only drinks offered. And there was no entertainment. They had to use your own phone for entertainment.

This involved removing protective covers from my laptop and phone that were hard to get off (not meant to be taken off regularly) and a full body search that I did not have to do in London. I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."

Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

The women was really nice and if it was not for her I am sure I would not have made my connection. I don't know if there is anyway to track her down and thank her but I would like to do so. Everything was great on the way there. On the returning flight,.... the flight attendant was so RUDE to me. She saw that after we were airborne and at a steady altitude, I brought my dog "Kacey" up into my lap. She immediately raised her voice and stated the dog needed to remain on the ground. I politely explained her condition BUT she refused to listen to anything. I put my poor old dog back under the seat. After approx 20 min I could hear her patting very loud. I lifted her again and asked a different flight attendant for some water. She was very hot on the floor. Or course, the flight attendant saw my little chihuahua drinking the water and said that after she drinks a little more, she must remain under the seat. By now, my husband is getting annoyed. He tried explaining to the flight attendant the medical needs that my dog has " she's on protein shakes" which were approved their security. and how fragile she is. She can't BARK, SEE, or HEAR. Yes, we will be putting her down soon but we took her to Montana for my daughter to say her GOODBYES!! Sorry to say, but that flight attendant has turned me away from UNITED AIR LINES forever. There was no rather problems between Orlando and Phili. And if as they claimed the flight was coming from Las Vegas they could have sent a message saying 5 hour delay. There is no excuse for misleading customers. When we arrived and realized what had happened they said they could not offer any vouchers for coffee or meals because it was documented by frontier management as weather related. Finding a loophole just to avoid helping people stranded. To top it off they would not wave a 4 lb over weight bag even though the other bag was 25 lbs underweight. Just a lack of caring about customers the staff threw airline policy as their excuse for thier inhumanity. If I would not wait the 5 hours till the wee hours of the morning they offered a flight 3 days later or to split my family up including two minors on two different flights one the next day and one the day after that..... A gain with no vouchers for hotel food or anything??? Eventually I took a refund of my 4 tickets and got a hotel room and flew the next day on a seperate airline out of pocket. Sad that the airline can do this but more importantly that they choose to act I this manner. Just because it is low cost should not mean they don't own up when they make a mistake. They should have notified us earlier or at least make our delay a little more humane."

Seeing as I have no children it would be great to have them slightly entertained if only for a little peace. I could care less about food/beverage options which of course were extra which I quickly realized was the name of your game. My reasonably priced $200 plane ticket became a $340 plane ticket once I realized there are no options but to either pay for my luggage or vacation naked. Also I was charged one price on my departing flight and a different price on my return flight for my luggage. When I asked why I was told the prices changed that very week. How convenient for your airline and nobody else."

(restaurants close at 8 at the Indianapolis airport) Very disappointing will be the last time we fly Frontier."

Cons: "In my lifetime of flying across four continents and dozens of airlines, Frontier is by far the worst. I arrived at the airport an hour before departure. I arrived at the terminal 50 minutes+ before departure. I attempted to check in at the kiosk, but was told to go to the check-in desk. I stood in line at the the check-in desk, and arrived at the front of the line more than 40 minutes before scheduled departure, only to be told that the Frontier computer system would not allow check-in to print a boarding pass within 45 minutes of departure. This condition of service was mentioned nowhere in the materials for the flight purchase online, nor is it mentioned on the airline's website. The first notice in print anywhere is at the check-in desk, in an ad-hoc sign placed inside a plexiglass display at the check-in desk. The check-in desk workers very politely suggested I call corporate. I called corporate and got the run-around from three different Frontier employees before they hung up on me. I won't give Frontier a penny. I suggest that you don't, either."
Cons: "Even though the ticket is cheap, you have to pay outrageous prices for literally everything else. You have to pay to reserve a seat (any seat) otherwise they can separate your family on the plane. You have to pay for drinks (even water) no matter how long your flight. You don't get a free carry on bag and if you don't book the bag before you get to the airport it can cost you north of 45$ to check it. The accommodations themselves were not great. The chairs have no cushioning, don't recline, are so close together that I couldn't cross my legs, and the tray table is 4 inches wide and couldn't even hold my laptop. The flight attendants on both flights were extremely rude and ran into me with the drink cart twice. One of the flight attendants when asked if the AC would be turned on since the flight was pretty warm asked if the woman wasn't just having hot flashes. She was upset tingly abrasive. The flight was delayed on the Tarmac for over an hour because the team couldn't load the baggage on the flight. The flight team didn't give us any explanation of the delay beyond that, they didn't update is on the expected time delay and they never apologized for the delay. When we did finally get going the flight crew was very rude with asking people to sit back down. Worst of all was that after all of that they lost my luggage. Despite a 2 hour layover and 1 hour delay at the gate specifically because they weren't done loading the luggage Frontier couldn't manage to get my luggage from gate 42 to gate 44... The whole experience was awful. I would never fly with them again no matter how cheap the ticket."

I fly back and forth from Florida to New Jersey always using Frontier. This past weekend is my last time using that airline. Jet Blue and American will now get my business and I'll make sure I tell everyone I know about what happened."
