Pros: "Super friendly and never skipped the details."
Cons: "Delay , rebooked on fight. Had to wait 8 hours. I needed a wheelchair .. they put Erin a remote location with a rude assistant in charge of transfers for wheel chairs . She had none. Made me walk 15 minutes to find a place to take my meds. She couldn’t care less."
Pros: "Typical solid British Airways service."
Cons: "Delayd by 4 hours."
Cons: "We didn’t, have a wheel chare whan we arrived to Dublen we wait near 1 hair till they come"
Pros: "Excellent crew"
Cons: "Delay of more than 1 hr"
Cons: "Seat in row ahead was broken, causing it to recline too far and not correctly return upright"
Pros: "No surprises. The flight was eventless, no drama. I had an Isle seat."
Cons: "Had to pay $100 for the isle seat. The earbuds didn't work well. We took off early on Tuesday, and landed the next morning at 11am. My how time flies. Somehow I lost a whole day -- what happened? (winking imoji here)"
Cons: "Flight attendance"
Cons: "Everything was great!"
Pros: "Roomy for the economy seats"
Pros: "When we finally took off."
Cons: "Flight was delayed >3.5 hours because of an "electrical problem affecting in-flight entertainment system and 1st and Business Class seats. After powering down the aircraft c. 3 times at 11:15pm CT the electrical system miraculously worked as normal."
Pros: "At least we were able to wait in the lounge."
Cons: "One of the jet bridges malfunctioned. Had to board >500 passengers via remaining bridge. An hour late departing."
Pros: "Priority boarding and bulkhead seating for family travelling with infant."
Cons: "My 'infant on lap' (23 months old) was too big for the airline-provided seat (weight limit 12.5kg, and he weighed 13kg)."
Pros: "Pilot was nice"
Cons: "The chaos boarding, unorganized crew, missing our transfer flight and not given options to book differently"
Cons: "The airline sent me on a wild goose chase through the airport only to end up back at the same counter. They then told me it was too late to check in. Do not book tickets with cheapoair-British Airlines said this releasesthem from all responsibilities and cheapoair will do nothing but send you to different people trying to sell you another flight. It was the worst experience every!"
Cons: "Canceled for no reason ca"
Cons: "Flight crew was just ok; nothing they did made me want to fly with British Airways again. Salad was good but the chicken nondescript."
Pros: "On time, spacious plane."
Cons: "No service until 20 minutes before landing (over 2 hours into flight) by which time all sandwiches had run out. No time to drink coffee before landing!"
Pros: "smooth flight"
Cons: "no dairy free food options"
Cons: "Fight was delayed 30 minutes so we missed our connecting flight to Madrid. We are stuck in London for the night, the food is not edible at the hotel they gave us and now we are stuck rearranging all of our future travel plans because we can't get to Madrid until tomorrow. This is our worst travel experience ever. We will never fly British Airways again."
Pros: "Nice aircraft and decent service. Cleanliness was good."
Cons: "The lie flat seats were good but cramped and claustrophobic near the head rest."
Cons: "Food and service could be better."
Cons: "No adapters availNle for the nonstandard power outlets."
Pros: "Crew was nice"
Cons: "We had to turn back due to mechanical issue. Lost a day of my vacation."
Pros: "Nice aircraft and nice flight overall!"
Cons: "I had reserved the 2 back seats of the aircraft--a row of only those 2 seats--so I could sleep against the window and my husband would still have the legroom he needs. Unfortunately those seats on the actual aircraft ended up being in a 3 seat row and getting a window seat and middle seat. Having booked the flight 8+ months prior, we were disappointed that we had less comfortable seats than originally reserved."
Pros: "The check-in process at the airport in Chicago was efficient and the person who helped us was friendly"
Cons: "-I was unable to check-in online and I think it's because my name got messed up in the reservation system even though I entered it correctly -Compared to other airlines, BA does not stop by frequently to offer beverages. Food and beverage service provided by BA faded in comparison to what was provided by American Airlines on the way back. - Our flight was delayed due to weather, but we also sat in the plane for a long period of time with no explanation. -We appreciated that BA automatically re-booked us on another flight (although it was not the next flight), and provided 2 meal tickets for 10 euro each. There was no other compensation for the incurred delay (about 2.5 hours)"
Pros: "Entertainment system"
Cons: "The width of the seats in economy are so narrow they don't fit my back. I am not a fat person. 6 feet 170 lbs and fit. No legroom and the tray table is not deep enough to support the food tray. Breakfast after an 8 hour flight consisted of a Kellogg's snack bar in a wrapper. I am used to Southwest Airlines which allows more than one peanut bag so I took two breakfast bars and the stewardess scolded me and said only one and made me return my extra. Not everyone in my roll even took a bar. They treat you like dirt in coach."
Cons: "Middle seat, very cramped and I'm short"
Pros: "Great service, meals, movies and comfortable flight."
Cons: "No breakfast. Crew skipped few rows for drinks. Toilets were broken."
Pros: "Flight attendants really are nice folks"
Cons: "1. Bought ticket via kayak chicago to prague, so I got outgoing trip on British airways but they codeshare it out to Aer Lingus. Unfortunately, these dumbos haven't figured out that no matter what the gyrations they do, I still want to be able to pick my seat beforehand. Nada. Not possible online. And forget calling aer lingus 800 number. called twice and was on hold for 30 min each time, they dont bother answering. 2. At airport, I was willing to pay extra for a good seat because of the issues above, so they said they would help me out. Ha - the manager who purportedly was helping me out gave me a seat up front next to a shrieking infant and behind a bassinet (he knew exactly what he was doing but didnt care). They really lie and think we're idiots. 3. Same thing for flight from dublin to prague. This time last row next to toliets Dont fly aer lingus if you dont book directly with them, same for british airways I looked at BA's website - they do let you book a seat in advance but you must pay something for every single seat. Crazy. There are no free seats"
Pros: "Got me there"
Pros: "New plane, very comfortable seating. The headphones in biz class were awesome, forgot I was on the plane. Overall best American Airlines flight and I do fly them a lot. Also liked the dual screens option."
Cons: "The seat control in the touch pad - not conveniently placed"
Cons: "I had been waiting a few hours for my next connecting flight ant at about 8:00 pm (45 minutes before departure), they announce that our flight might be delayed do to mechanical problems on our plane. It took them 4 hours to fix it. Which was not too bad. What was bad is that they lied to us. Because I missed my connecting flight, they said that they would be waiting for us with our new flights and not to worry. When we arrived in London, we were scrambling to find out where to go. there was several families in front of me that missed their flights and they were having problems trying to re-book their flights. It took about 3/4 hours for me (one person) to re-book my London to Glasgow because I was stuck behind families. I was trying to explain one of BA employees that I (1 person) needed a flight to Glasgow. It was getting late and I was worried that I might miss the last flight of the day and would be stuck in London until the next day. She didn't like that I told her that and didn't want to help me. so it took me about 4 hours in line to get my flight and had to rush to get it. I had also purchased a window sit that I was not able to get. The guy that help me re-book my flight told me that I would have to call for that. Which I did now but the first phone # I called, the guy said that I had to call this other #. I called the # he gave me and a recording comes out that they are too backed up with calls and cannot help me to go to the website. At the website, they are asking for the flight # of the re-booked flight (I only have my original flight #'s on my email). I don't know what happened to the ticket they gave me to board the re-booked flight so I don't have it. I don't know where else to call about my refund and also think I deserve some kind of compensation for missing a day at both airports with horrible treatment and service. CAN YOU HELP ME ON HOW TO TALK TO A REPRESENTATIVE ABOUT MY REFUND AND SOME SORT OF COMPENSATION?"
Cons: "I flew about 1 million miles and truly felt like a sardine- absolutely NO leg room and very archaic entertainment system. NEVER AGAIN !"
Pros: "Everything was great! Thank you so much!"
Pros: "Crew where very nice"
Cons: "Lack of room"
Pros: "Saved 5 hours by being changed to a non-stop for the same fee."
Cons: "Working with Iberia to get accessible seating took ten irritating phone calls."
Cons: "The flight was awful! Boarding was unorganized. Once on the plane, space was TIGHT! I have flown with Iberia before and had leg room and TVs behind the chairs. This was not like this. Seats were uncomfortable for an 8 hour flight, smelly, and flimsy. I have never been more uncomfortable. The crew were nice but one was very rude to a passenger snapping at him and all ignored a very drunk man on my flight as much as possible. This man was very disruptive for most of the flight singing, shaking seats, touching other passengers, and walking about the flight. I did not feel safe at all! The staff would tell him to sit down, walk away, and he would be instantly back up. Staff would see this and ignore. I had no idea what to do. I felt unsupported and unsafe. The flight had constant turbalence to go along with it. To the point that they canceled dinner. I wanted to kiss the ground when I got off the flight. This was absolutely miserable. I could not be more disappointed."
Pros: "A lot of people in close proximity. Very good service and food. It worked well."
Cons: "The flight was great but found out night before when I checked to confirm flights that ours were cancelled without notification. We booked through Kayak so not sure what happened. PANIC for sure but a great service provider spent an hour on the phone with me to make sure we made it."
Pros: "Friendly helping crew"
Cons: "They changed the gate three times and there was one and a half delay in take off"
Cons: "seats in World Traveller are the worst. I've never felt so painful sitting in an airplane seat. The curve of the seat makes it so that one must crane their neck the entire trip. The headrest sticks out a lot, further contributing to this problem. Anyone with half decent posture is going to have a bad time in these seats. I saw the club world seats while exiting the plane and wanted to cry,"
Pros: "The crew was helpful and nice. The food was also nice. I had a gluten free meal and it was enjoyable."
Cons: "The plane itself was old there were no tvs on the seats so the "in flight entertainment" was awful. When you plugged headphones in there was an awful noise that prevented you from hearing anything from the movie/show. Considering this was a transatlantic flight, the plane should have been better. We were also delayed due to maintenance that needed to be done on the flight. Luckily London was my last stop so I was not late for anymore flights but a lot of people on the plane were. I was very disappointed and will be disappointed again if my return flight has the same issues."
Pros: "ORD -> MAD The flight was on time, it boarded on time, it took off only a few minutes late (you can blame that on incredibly crowded ORD). It landed, on time, to an empty terminal. The plane itself was new, very clean, and very well kept. The crew was friendly and spoke a wide variety of languages, including English, French, and of course Spanish. They had no issue with Latin American Spanish or European Spanish accents, which is a concern for some. Overall the flight got me to my destination on time, in one piece, and without breaking the bank."
Cons: "The seats, oh the dreaded seats. In economy class the seats are the most uncomfortable thing you can sit on for 8 hours. If they replaced them with plastic folding lawn chairs, you would have a better time. But that is what you get for flying coach."
Pros: "Everything about this flight would have been perfect, if not for the delay and missing flight. The crew was extremely nice and accommodating, I enjoyed the spacious seats with complimentary pillow & blanket, and the entertainment was an excellent selection. I also requested to change seats which they were able to do at the gate without hassle."
Cons: "There were a few missing passengers, so our flight decided to try and wait for them (which is extremely kind and generous), however, this caused our flight to have a delayed landing. Because of this, I missed my connecting flight and had to wait in the airport for an extra 6+ hours for the next flight. What should have been a 17 hour travel day turned into a 25 hour travel day."
Pros: "My seat was great. Glad to have food. Which was okay. Will travel British Airways again"
Pros: "Easy no hassle check in and board."
Cons: "Absolutely nothing. Thank you!"
Pros: "Crew was nice. Boarding and deplaning was quick. Flight was on time"
Cons: "WiFi was super slow"
Cons: "I am quite sure there was a booking error and no one was willing to make any accommodation. Should have been charlotte to boston. I ate the cost. Tried to reschedule with cheapo air and voila wrong again. That cost me another $50.00"
Cons: "No idea. I thought everything was good."
Cons: "PHX airport baggage claim was a mess. I had to wait 40 min to pick up the luggages."
Cons: "Only snacks available at 5am"
Pros: "Very comfortable, fast, nice staff"
Cons: "They didn’t offer a snack!"
Cons: "4 hour mechanical delay and shitty communication"
Pros: "Boarded early and landed early."
Pros: "Flight crew were very apologetic"
Cons: "Missed connecting flight from Miami. Only one flight per day. Had to take a flight to an alternative location, drive for an hour down the coast and take a ferry to my final destination."
Cons: "Flight got delayed by 2 hours"
Pros: "They let me sleep"
Cons: "Not enough food options"
Cons: "The y chance the gate 3 times. And ir was delates."
Pros: "Best landing I’ve experienced recently!"
Pros: "quick flight"
Cons: "seats are very cramped"
Pros: "New entertainment system, and variety of selection. Plane cleanliness as condition."
Cons: "Seats are stiff and uncomfortable. Pretzels and only pretzels for snacks."
Cons: "Disorderly boarding. Oversold flight."
Pros: "On time, kept informed."
Cons: "Terrible turbulence"
Pros: "There was an excellent selection of movies to choose from. The seats were pretty nice and clean and modern. A power outlet at every seat, and not just USB."
Cons: "Flight was delayed due to paperwork and some people were racing to their connecting flights. Lots of turbulence. The seats seemed comfortable at first, but actually hurt my tailbone pretty quickly, while the 17 hour flight we took next did not. Tray tables are the folding kind and a bit awkward. We were in the last row by the bathrooms and our seats didn't recline at all. You had to pay for any kind of snacks other than a little bag of pretzels and a package of cookies. We were in one of the last two boarding sections, and the woman letting us on the plane tried to make us check out carry-on luggage, stating that the overhead bins were full. Well, we didn't want to be without our bags for the next 24 hours, so we argued and she let us "try" to bring them on. There was PLENTY of room back there! It's just the standard line they feed, apparently, so beware if you're sitting in the back of the plane!"
Cons: "Too many delays as usual"
Pros: "Generally clean plane with good entertainment system and technology overall. Diabetic meal much better than in the past."
Cons: "Didn't announce meal choices at the start so flight attendant had to repeat herself every. Single. Row. They forgot my diabetic meal on the last part them forgot to include cutlery and it took a long time to sort out but they were otherwise lovely."
Pros: "No food, no entertainment. Flight very smooth. No legroom"
Cons: "No legroom. They made me check carry on"
Pros: "Nice flight, great leg room, staff was friendly and flight was on time."
Pros: "strategic boarding to avoid standing in the cold"
Cons: "WASNT ENOUGH ROOM FOR CARRY ONS"
Pros: "I like the boarding, the service and the time management"
Cons: "The food was not good , limited options."
Pros: "Due to a strong tailwind we arrived 45 minutes ahead of schedule. Great service with attentive attendants. However the plane was older than me, no real entertainment system or outlets to plug in smart devices."
Cons: "Plane needs to be retired or retrofitted to accommodate smart device charging."
Pros: "The flight was safe."
Cons: "Hi. I was shocked that there was no food served on the 6 hour flight from Boston to LA. And the seats are way too small. I’m not large and I felt like I couldn’t breathe. There wasn’t enough help, either."
Pros: "Direct flight, sketchy weather but we arrived pretty close to “on time”"
Pros: "Professionalism and all time smile of the crew"
Cons: "That there is not TV in the plane"
Pros: "Got to watch movies"
Cons: "Need more leg room"
Pros: "Good crew Lucky to get better seats!"
Cons: "Poor Selection of entertainment not enough screen"
Pros: "Very comfortable and nice staff"
Cons: "Had a 2.5 delay on one of my connectors from NY to Madrid. Was worried I wouldn't make my flight to Vigo on time, but I did!"
Pros: "Everything went fine and was uneventful. For me, an uneventful travel day is a good travel day!"
Pros: "That I got home safely"
Cons: "From the get go it was an awful experience ... I travel with an emotional support animal as does my husband because we don't do well with flying. I have anxiety to the max about it & my husband gets ulcerative colitis flare ups any time he's stressed out which is usually while we fly and having our dogs with us turkey makes us feel better. When I called to tell them over the phone we would have our emotional support animal I got an attitude as if I hadn't been doing this for the last 4 years. She reiterated to me that we needed in addition to the letterhead from the doctor a form filled out (which we both did ) . Brought to the airport and sit had to sit at the counter like the girl didn't know what she was doing. Fast forward to finally getting to the gate after being stressed and our flight was delayed. This now only made our 50 min layover in DC 20 min by the time we landed. We ran from one gate to the next hoping we wouldn't miss our flight and when we got there they wouldn't let us on the plane saying things like "your dogs are not on this flight" "there is no documentation" "well then you must not have the right paperwork" ... in front of a bunch of people in line, out of breath, and now embarrassed I am forced to take out my folder and give them all the paperwork I had just given to the customer service desk before our first flight. They let everyone on the plane and still made us stand there and finally said "just go but your dogs aren't on this flight". Fast forward AGAIN to sitting on the flight the flight attendant comes over and says "guys where's you carrier the dogs need to be under the seats" .. we peoceeded again to explain for the seventh time that they were emotional support animals ... she then proceeded "no they are not they are not even listed on this flight" at this point I'm EXTREMLY embarrassed because people on the plane are paying attention and drawing attention to us but not only that ... I have been doing this for years .. I ALWAYS have the proper documentation as does my husband and we have never ran into this kind of disappointment and embarrassment from any airline until now. I was so stressed out to begin with and this deffinately didn't help ... nor did it make us wants to fly on American again. I felt pushed aside, embarrassed, and belittled by multiples employees ... all because the first employee clearly made a mistake and didn't document things correctly ... that should have never been put on us ."
Cons: "I dislike how early the entertainment system shuts off"
Pros: "There's nothing good about AA"
Cons: "One of the few things SouthWest, Alaska & United did was the proper queuing of people to get into the plane. AA is a free for all - those who follow regulations will fall behind. In this flight from Boston to LAX - I heard there were 80 Priority checking - are you kidding me. Group 1 does not help if I have 80 Priority seating and one family took 12 people in with one elderly. It's good to place Elderly and Military up front first - but to take the Whole entire family - that's not fair - you have 8 able bodies who should be in line with the rest of the crowd. Also who heard of 80 Priority check ins - normally, that's Group 1. Never flying AA unless I a desperate."
Pros: "Good experience all around."
Cons: "15 minutes late. No big deal though"
Pros: "the flight was on time coming and going"
Pros: "On time, courteous ground and flight crew"
Cons: "Tight seating, refreshment service"
Pros: "All good - with every aspect of the trip."
Pros: "Good crew, very pleasant and professional."
Cons: "The three and a half hour delay was not great, but since it was due to weather issues in Chicago, certainly not the airlines fault. However, the communication about the delay was terrible. There was nobody and the gate, so we were relying on automated notifications from the airline. They kept pushing it later by 30 - 45 minutes at a time. We could have gone to the airport much later but just didn't know that."
Pros: "Great entertainment system."
Cons: "Over an hour late."
Pros: "Crew was nice including those helping with boarding."
Cons: "Difficult to recline chair. Limited snack options. Landing was a bit rough."
Pros: "The plane was not full"
Cons: "Booked Brittish Air, got American. Plane delayed, no wifi, TV screen could not be seen from seat. No control of TV. Plane seats old & uncomfortable. Paid a premium price for a sub par experience."
