Pros: Turkish continues to go above-and-beyond to provide all of its passengers with a quality experience. Meals were actually good (I opt for the Vegetarian offering) and Economy seats are perfectly fine.
Cons: Both ground staff and inflight crews border on rude, but I choose to believe it's a cultural thing and not a corporate or personal failing. Really, it's a coldness more than anything. No warmth or empathy. Planes are showing their age, particularly in the seat monitors. Screens have dead zones with inoperative icons. Also, quite a few seats were literally falling apart. But, when you fly to more countries than any other airline, some wear-and-tear is to be expected.

Cons: My husband's passport expires in March of 2018, 4 months from travel dates and we weren't allowed to travel because it has to be 6 months. We booked our tickets in August of 2017, Turkish Airlines could've told us this. During booking, they ask for passport expiry date, what's the point if you're not going to tell us in advance and wait till our travel date to tell us this information. We couldn't travel on our vacation as planned and we were charged an additional $3,000 to change our tickets.

Pros: The ground and flight crews were outstanding. Boarding was easy in Houston. I got to see the flight crew handle a medical emergency and saw that they were well prepared, efficient, and concerned. The food and entertainment were fine. I felt like the seat space was better than on British which I often use. I had an empty seat next to me however. I was impressed that the flight crew moved a taller gentleman to a premium (exit) seat to accommodate his extra tall stature. He didn't ask, but they wanted him to be comfortable.
Cons: The airport in Istanbul is pretty manageable. They changed the gate on us twice for the connection, which meant a bit of walking. But the crowd was pretty manageable compared to LHR.

Also, flight attendants did not request people to sit up during meals which made eating very difficult in my case. 3. Bathrooms were very dirty during the last 1/3 of the flight and remained so, including no toilet paper and paper towels. 4. No second serving for refreshment beverages during flight.

Pros: Paying only half of what other USA airlines offered we had a one stop trip from (IAH) Houston to (TLV) Tel Aviv and were served two meals with offerings of other food if needed. I don't know what was served but it was good yet very different from what we eat in Texas. Then we had a 2 1/2 hour layover in (IST) Istanbul Turkey which gave us plenty of time to get off the plane, shuttle to the terminal gate then walk around the airport for about an hour before heading to the next gate for our connecting flight. The crew was very pleasant and the flight very smooth.
Cons: The landing in Instanbul Turkey was very poorly done, by far the worst I've ever experienced but the rest of the flight and connecting Turkish Airlines flight to Tel Aviv was great. The seats are very cramped but not much different than any other economy seat I've had on any other USA airline. The price of the ticket more than made up for the seat.

Cons: Seating was terrible. We were in the 2nd row of the normal seats on the right side of the plane. The space between the rows of seats was much to tight, so I had to turn my legs to the side to fit into the space. I am 6'. However, I noticed that the row across from me had about 4" inches of additional space so I am thinking that the row I was on was set in error. This needs to be fixed. Also, they were much to late in turning on the air conditioning as we loaded and waited for takeoff.

Cons: There was no air in our section of the plane. The entire flight from Houston to Istanbul was miserable. It was 85 degrees or higher, and every chance we got to complain to a flight attendant was met with dismissal. We were told they were trying to fix it, but really there's nothing they could have done, and they shouldn't have made it sound like if we just waited a little the problem would get fixed. Not only was it hot, but there was no actual air flow of any kind, and as a person with Asthma this was extremely uncomfortable. Our section was right behind the first class section, and the flight attendants kept trying to keep us separated with the curtains, even though the only way we were getting any air was from that cabin. We consistently requested them to leave the curtains open in the hopes that some air would make it's way to us, but there was little change. Some families with newborns were moved to first class, and some passengers were able to scout out and find other available seats throughout the plane, but for the majority of us in that section, we had no air, and were treated very poorly for as much discomfort as we were going through. There was no apology and little acknowledgement to the problem at hand and I felt personally very disrespected by the whole experience.

Cons: Overall it was a good flight but since I was not familiar Turkish Air, there were some glitches. Although I'm not wheelchair bound, I have great difficulty walking distances with fear of falling. I was never offered some assistance by the Houston airport or the airline at this point. The seating on the plane is difficult to maneuver for a disabled person. The flight was OK except for cramped spaces. The flight left on time and that was good considering Houston had just gone through the hurricane.

One but none of them know what i was saying And at the time my flight was sopposed leave 7:50 so I was freaking out And no one helping at that crtical moment I finaly got the delay flight info after running somany times up and down the road

Cons: Staff at the gate and on the plane were rude. At the gate, I asked if there was an isle seat or an emergency row seat available (because I have long legs and long feet) and he said he would check and see. Well, he failed to inform me if any of the seats were available, so I sat in a window seat to Istanbul and a middle seat to Venice. I had to pay $160 for an extra bag to Venice. I asked if the airline allowed military members to check a third bag for free, I was laughed at, and told that US military members get charged more because we're not in the Turkish military. So as you can see, this trip started off horribly. My flight attendant seemed like she was having a horrible day because her attitude and customer service was bad.

Cons: The whole operation was shabbily done. Because of a Turkish airlines' flight delay, we wouldn't be able to make our connecting flight to Venice from Istanbul. So the agents booked me and my traveling companions on DIFFERENT flights the next day, long after we had paid to be getting to Venice. It took a long time and a lot of work on my part to get our tickets corrected to all be on the same flight, and the whole thing was very unprofessional. The lower price for Turkish airlines is not worth it when you have to spend an entire day of your vacation sitting in the Turkish Airlines airport hotel because Turkish Airlines can't properly get you to your destination on time.

Pros: It is very hard to separate the hassle of air travel from the airlines so the size of your seat and the many security checks that infuence our opinion are beyond their power. The food, service, little overnight packet and staff were excellent.

Went to the wrong gate for my connecting flight, Turkish air rep at the gate checked my boarding pass, didn't say a word about me being at the wrong gate. Tgere was no announcement of any kind (found out later, Turkish sir doesn't do announcement at the Istanbul airport. No clue as to why). Thought, tgere was another delay and by the time I asked, it was too late to catch my flight and that's when I got a full dose of every single person w Turkish air trying to stiff me with the most outrageous penalty for changing Nguyen my ticket. Started out at $1114 on a $758 ticket, then went down to $925 and if I stay over night, down to $750. Seriously? Rude, talking down at me and telling me that if I don't pay the penalty, my return ticket will be cancelled. I keep getting bounced from one person to another being told to wait here and wait there then I finally got so sick of all of it, bought a new connecting flight online, spending the night in Istanbul and will see what will happen w my return flight to the US. I call this 'theft' as if i buy an entire new ticket from Istanbul to Cairo then back to the US online, it will cost me less than the penalty they're trying to get me to pay. Shame on you Turkish airline!! You'd think w all the issues they're having w tourism in their country these days they'd care about not doing this kind of mistreatment of their clients.

Cons: Seats were crammed in as close as possible. I've never had such little room on a flight this long. This is a really long flight, so I'd probably see if I could find a more comfortable airline next time, even if it cost me a little more cash.

Pros: From extra free bag, to all the little things they give you to make you feel much more comfortable, to the scrumptious meals and constant attendants attentiveness to passengers needs. Loved everything!!! Especially the way we can follow our route on the screens.

Pros: Flight attendant cared a lot about the older lady sitting next to me, was grateful when I helped her. Food was excellent, screen size and selection of viewing material was very good. We were on time and the little comfort bag was very good, lip balm!

I will be seeking reimbursement for Venice hotel, Istanbul recruited visas, and travel inconvenience.

Cons: Flight from Houston to Istanbul got delayed; Turkish Airlines representative confirmed that flight will catch up on time and I can reach my connecting flight on time, however changed my ticket for the connecting flight so I would leave Istanbul next day - without informing me about the change.Once I realized changed "date/time" in the ticket (VS what I booked) and complained about it, all Turkish Airline representatives were acting line they don't understand English...this is unacceptable. I ended up spending the night in the Airport.

Cons: Our flight was canceled from Amsterdam to Bordeaux and did not receive any direction and had to find alternate flights for ourselves with the personal expense of using our own cell phones. Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy! We ended up flying from Toronto to Paris then to Bordeaux. Lost my upgrade money for seats. Now have to deal with KLM for refund!

Pros: Flight was on time, crew professional, food and drinks good and kept coming. I learnt Dutch on the in-flight entertainment system. I was in a good mood talking to another passenger about his new luggage system. This mood was kept and not taken away on the flight.

Cons: I paid for a"premium" seat on one of the emergency exit rows for the extra legroom. This was next to a galley. The seat itself was no more than 18" wide (NO EXAGGERATION!!) if not less. I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again.

The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!

Cons: They lost my luggage and have no information as to where it is. It has been 3 days and no Information. There was only one meal for the flight and alcoholic beverages were not included.

Pros: The crew took care with calm and kindness of a man in deep distress and erratic behavior. Impressive. More generally , the crew showed respect and attention to all passengers. Not frequent.

Cons: People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel.

Cons: They lost my luggage going to AFRICA...didn't see the suitcase until 6 days later. When I received the suitcase, over $1000 in equipment was stolen , suitcase was all scrambled...I WAS ROBBED ! ...then on the return flight to HOUSTON, they lost my suitcase again ! W.T.F ? ! No one has called me to apologize for anything ! I expect to be reimbursed for my loses, or I will sue the airline.

Pros: The attendants were much more helpful than my last trip. Everything went well.
Cons: I thought it was too crowded during the pandemic. Too many people on the flight. One man behind me kept sneezing so that was concerning. No other complaints for this trip but most of my previous trips were close to terrible. Thanks for improving your service.

Pros: I was terrified after reading reviews for Royal Moroc Air. Every aspect of the flight went well. Baggage check in was smooth. Boarding the flight was the same. The plane was new, clean and spacious. The crew were courteous and professional. My bag was waiting when I arrived to baggage claim.

Cons: I didnt like the fact that im a paying customer and when i pressed the flight attendant call button to get the attention of a cabin crew, waited for about 15 minutes and nobody showed up, bear in mind that it wasnt the busiest time of flight. I had to wake up the customer sitting next to me so i can walk to the back galley where i found 4 cabin crew members sitting down and chit chatting about their personal lives completely ignoring the chime/sound and light above my seat when i pressed the F/A call button. When i asked for water, one of the cabin crew members pointed towards a bottle of bottle and told me to serve myself as if im a non-paying customer. I paid for my ticket, why should i do their job. In a nutshell, the customer service sucks, for least money i could have taken another airline with better service.

Pros: The flight out of JFK to Casablanca was on time and checking in was extremely fast. We flew out and arrived early. The plane itself was very clean and organized, and was mostly empty, giving me enough space to have two seats for myself.
Cons: The entertainment center (screen) stopped an hour before the plane landed. I was in the middle of watching The Greatest Showman, so that was pretty rude. Other than that it was great.

Cons: EVERYTHING I could smell the bathroom from the middle of the aeroplane. The attendants were unfriendly, rude and unaccommodating. The food was undesirable given that there were no vegetarian options. Upon disembarking the aeroplane looked like a tornado went through it because the attendants did not pick up from the passengers before the flight landed (perhaps it was not part of their job, if so...my apologies )

Pros: The staff was very emphatetic to our situation as we were traveling with the groom for his wedding. They tried all they could but unfortunately due to the lack of operational control, were unable to get us to our destination on time. Provided us with vouchers and free stay.
Cons: With little to no explanation, our flight was delayed nearly 4 hours which caused to miss our connecting flight to Egypt. Apparently, there was only one plane in floatation. We missed our connecting flight, next flight was the next day at 9 pm as they only have one flight that goes to Egypt daily. Would not suggest this airline if you need to meet certain deadlines. They compensate with food and vouchers but that isn’t sufficient when you need to ensure your on time for a wedding!

Cons: Boarding was horrendous. The flight was so delayed but no one updated us on the status. It caused many people (including me) to miss connecting flights at Casablanca. Terrible communication. And they aren’t helpful at all even when they completely screw up your travel plans.

Cons: This was my first and last time flying with Royal Air Maroc. The plane was cramped and filthy with the most uncomfortable seats I've ever encountered on a plane. The plane was kept at a very warm temperature, so I was sweaty for most of the flight (I'm usually very cold; it's rare that I find a space too warm). The crew gave me a hard time when I requested the vegetarian meal, claiming that they didn't have one (except they did, which they produced minutes later). I've never been on an international flight that didn't have a vegetarian option. THEN, we left JFK late, and I missed my connection to another Air Maroc flight by TWO minutes. They shut the gate and wouldn't reopen it. Multiple people needed to make this connection; any other airline would have held the plane for the entire five minutes necessary. In conclusion: terrible service and filthy, uncomfortable planes.

Cons: The ticket refused for me to board the plane say my credit card declined just to find out later that my card was good but she was wrong. And not only that I miss the flight but now they're charging me $250 extra.

Pros: I liked the flight from jfk to Morocco. Comfortable and clean. The attendants were nice and helpful.
Cons: I disliked the trip from Morocco to Banjul. Very cramped and the bathroom was filthy. Also there was no one at the gate to inform us of anything cocerning the connection. Just began boarding at shortly before departure time. There was also no room for my carry-on bag and so it had to go in the hull of the plane.

Pros: It was 2 hours late so they gave a coupon to buy dinner a little more leg room than most other companies i am 6:4

Cons: Very small aircraft, no space and filled to capacity. Could not even get up to walk and stretch, essential for such a long flight. Very uncomfortable. My entertainment system did not work, staff tried rebooting, still didn't work. Their answer? Go to another seat, BUT the plane was full. NOT HELPFUL.

Pros: The seat back entertainment was decent; good recent releases.
Cons: Flight was delayed nearly 2-3 hours, for no apparent reason other than the flight crew showing up late. People were asked to queue up and then, after an hour, told that we wouldn't be boarding soon, with no estimated boarding time. On the flight I was next to a talk man who had paid extra for a bulkhead seat, but once his ticket was issued he was in a regular seat. The flight crew absolutely did not care. A number of people missed connecting flights due to the long delay. English announcements were incomprehensible.

Cons: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED and they didn't tell us in advance and COMPLETELYYYYYYYY ruined our entire trip that we had to cancel and LOST ALL OUR MONEY!!!!! WILL NEVER FLY ROYAL AIR MAROC. They didn't have any recourse over what they did

Cons: Breakfast lacked nutritional value as it was carbs only, i.e. an assortment of 3 different types of bread/cake. My friend and I unboarded the flight extremely hungry and had to find breakfast on the street in a new country while waiting for a train from casablanca to marrakesh. Also, my friend's brandnew suitcase was damaged when we received it at the casablanca airport as it was missing a wheel.

Cons: Many TV's didn't work, the carpet had been left soaking wet in front of me as they had just cleaned the carpet, stingy with the water....there is NO comfort flying this airline, but it is direct.

Cons: The attitude of the flight staff toward the passengers could be best described as somewhere between prison warden transporting felons and grade school teacher who hates children leading a field trip. To begin with, our flight closed down boarding over an hour before the take off time. When I asked why the flight boarded so early, a flight attendant snapped at me that it was not early. Okay then. Our flight was two hours delayed (so we sat there for three hours) and during that time I asked for a glass of water and was yelled at to sit back down. I attempted to use the bathroom and was yelled at to sit back down. Other passengers became desperately thirsty and antsy, and they were also yelled at by the staff. I was anticipating another full day of traveling after my flight so I attempted to sleep as soon as the lights went off. I was woken up at midnight because the woman, who I assume had never flown on an airplane before, sitting behind me wanted me to lift my seat up while she ate her dinner. Everyone else on the flight was eating with the seat in front of them reclined, but of course I was woken up, yelled at by the staff, and had my seat forcibly returned to the upright position. When breakfast came around, I was deep in sleep, and the flight attendant snapped my seat up (waking me up) without even asking. I was the only person on the flight who had their seat snapped to the upright position for breakfast this way. They also demanded the pillows and blankets be returned over an hour before landing time. It was service so outrageously bad that the entire experience felt surreal, and I had to keep checking with my friend that the events I was experiencing were actually happening.

Pros: RAM, I checked in one bag, got to CMN, waited one hour to be told. Your suit case is not here. I had a suit, underwear, toilrtteries, my whole life was in that suit case and was planning an avent thatnight. I ended up buying some clothes last minute, making another trip all the way from Mohamedia to airport next day. They ruined my vacation !!!

Pros: The food was fine, we left on time, no issues at the gate and quick departure.
Cons: The plane seats were old and worn but that's not an issue. One of the crew members gave me attitude because I requested thebvegetaroan option after another stewardess said it was available. Apparently it can be ordered online free of charge but the encounter was unenjoyable with him. Otherwise good news.

Pros: The crew was very rude and careless. The food was OK.
Cons: The crew member assigned to the aisle I was in, was so careless that he bumped on me 90% of the times he passed and never excused one single time! The worst: when leaving the plane, I forgot my iPad in the pouch of the chair in front of me. 20 minutes later when I realized it, although I contacted the counter immediately they said that they could not find it and that they could not do anything to help me!

Pros: The lady who checked us in was nice. The flight made it to Morocco without crashing. That's all I can say positive right now.
Cons: We left late. 45 minutes late without an explanation. Then the chairs are quite uncomfortable. The crew wasn't very pleasant, except maybe one guy. There are tons of announcements in 3 languages. Then we arrived late. And as if it's 1970 we get off the plane onto the tarmac, wait for a bus that takes 15 minutes to get you to the building, which I could have walked to in the same amount of time. Then you have to go through security again for some reason. So we missed our flight. Stuck in a shitty terminal without so much as an apology or a food voucher for our 6 hour wait till the next flight. Not a good experience.

Cons: I'm short and had my knees bruised by the end of the 6 hour flight. Wheelchair service at JFK was rudest I've ever met. Wheel chair service at CMN did not show up. Luckily this time I was not traveling completely alone and coworkers were able to assist. Crew would not let me sleep on the plane, kept waking me to eat. I was not permitted to bring all my luggage and no alternatives were offered. My carry on was taken from me because the wheel chair person did not want to deal with me and it. I wish there was an option, but I will have to fly air Marco again.
