Pros: "Crew was professional and helpful."
Cons: "Seat was narrow for business class."
Pros: "Service was excellent, amazing professional crew, vegetarian friendly pasta dinner option was delicious"
Cons: "Metal bars in the middle of the leg room space make stowing a small carry on under the seat in front of you impossible for all passengers in a row. Also awkward to place feet around. No direct air vents so I felt hot even wearing just a t shirt. Breakfast not as good"
Pros: "The crew were so friendly and helpful."
Cons: "I was told on the phone earlier (and very rudely) there are no gluten free options for eating. I have celiac disease and do not do the diet for "fun". It's for health. I found out thanks to the excellent crew on board there is an option."
Cons: "More chicken"
Cons: "They run out of chicken and only had pasta dinner left. I don't like pasta ."
Pros: "The crew was attentive."
Cons: "Boarding crew in EWR insisted that my small carry on had to be checked in. MANY passengers were able to bring on board luggage that was larger and clearly heavier. I don’t understand why I was one of the exceedingly few passengers pulled out of the queue to have luggage checked in. Food was sad."
Cons: "I did not like the delays over one hour delayed"
Pros: "Great customer service at check in window, very comfortable and clean airplane, very good cabin crew..overall highly satisfied"
Cons: "It was difficult to leave my seat when passenger a front of me put his seat all the way to the back. Did not have that problem on other Lufthansa flights to and from Europe. I"
Pros: "The efficiency and kindness of the flight attendants made the trip enjoyable. The water service really helped with dehydration. Also, the food was EXCELLENT, which you don't often hear on a flight. My seat was comfortable and the movie and television selections was great. Will ABSOLUTELY fly with them again!"
Pros: "ground services"
Cons: "seats with little leg room"
Pros: "They boarded back of aircraft first. They gave wine on demand. They were smiling and helpful and greeted us on entry and exit. The little things matter!"
Cons: "It was difficult to fall asleep in the seats. Uncomfortable."
Pros: "The staff was good to me when I became ill on the flight with a migraine."
Cons: "When I paid for my seat in advance it said I had an exit row, but when I got on the flight it was not. The food was also horrible."

Pros: "Excellent staff and organized service. Entertainment syst m standard but worked well without problems."
Cons: "Food was just OK"
Pros: "Baggage handling, efficiency overall"
Cons: "Small legroom in economy"
Pros: "The seats were comfortable, we all had a bottle of water at our seats, we were immediately served drinks and snacks, the meals were really nice (haven't had this in years). Plane crew were friendly and helpful. Kids loved the entertainment selection - it kept them occupied throughout the flight in spite of their young age (3yrs and 5 yrs)."
Cons: "Baby kept most of the cabin up for three hours of a six-and-half hour flight. I know this isn't Lufthansa's fault, but they did little to help. Also, business class seats are too hard!"
Pros: "Boarding to exit all went smooth"
Cons: "Air was sometimes stale"
Pros: "I LOVED the Crew. Exceptional! Polite, accommodating, kind, friendly. Just wonderful. The food was pretty good too! The entertainment was great. I loved that the toilets were in a separate area downstairs! The flight was overall pretty comfortable. The cabin temperature was also great, not the freezing temperature found on American planes. Thank you LUFTHANSA!!!"
Cons: "The flight was late boarding and late arriving in Munich. I had a connecting flight to make and that was a harrowing experience. I had no precedence offers the other passengers in deplaning. I was given no help in making my connecting flight. I had to queue up for border control. I had to go up and down numerous escalators. I was stopped by a policeman asking for papers which I had already given to border control. I had to take a train and change terminals. My connecting flight was departing from the farthest gate possible in the terminal. I was running the entire time, and I barely made it. Had I not been running, I would have missed my connection."
Cons: "The ticketing when purchasing a ticket from NEW YORK is very unclear and even though we wanted a JFK ticket, the NEW YORK search showed a ticket for NEWARK NJ so my step dad ended up going to the JFK airport - An elderly man who has trouble with English and no one was willing to help him to rebook his ticket. Not only that - the Lufthansa people VOIDED his entire ticket including the second leg because the agency wasn't picking up for a rebooking so the entire ticket cost was lost - $1200 - GONE! We couldn't even get him a one way ticket so he could use the return part of the one he bought. This is an absolute customer service disaster. This man lost all his money, he saves up all year to go see his family. That's an ugly way to take advantage of people."
Pros: "Great crew, service was excellent"
Cons: "Once off international flight in Dusseldorf, had to go through passport check prior to transfer onto second flight... One passport check person in line for almost 200 people... We did make our flight, however very stressful for no reason. Lufthansa was amazing, Euro-wings folks... very unhelpful..."
Cons: "Stoll in Germany first flight was over 1.5 hour late a I miss my original flight. I must wait now for afternoon flight and wait all day having family emergency situation."
Pros: "Good flight"
Pros: "Service, comfort, movie selections"
Cons: "N/A because we missed the flight."
Pros: "Flight was on time and uneventful. Plane was a bit cool and most passengers were required to put their jackets back on. No complaints otherwise."
Cons: "Newark is not my preferred airport. We had to leave secure area between flights. Upon reentry, security stations were undermanned and wait times were long."
Pros: "New airplane"
Cons: "The front seat has sharp edges at knee level. Wen the front passenger recline his seat it killed my knees."
Pros: "The basics were fine."
Cons: "The crew on the flight was really loud and talked about unprofessional things. Every time I was woken up it was by a flight attendant talk to another attendant really loud across the plane. Also, this was advertised as Lufthansa but was actually United. Kayak seems to do this frequently, and as a customer it is confusing and disappointing."
Pros: "The crew was wonderful and very accommodating. We were also very impressed by the plane itself. The seating was the most comfortable either of us has experienced on an overseas flight."
Cons: "Good for entertainment but the headphone insert in my particular seat would only play through one ear. Not a headphone issue, they worked fine in another screen. Inconvenient for a long flight."
Pros: "We arrived in London ahead of time. We go to Newark ahead of time"
Cons: "The food"
Pros: "it was much more comfortable on the second part of the flight"
Cons: "The Newark airport is a swamp of unpleasant facilities and personnel."
Pros: "In my experience Lufthansa is almost always on time and very professional in how they manage their flights."
Pros: "Professional and courteous flight attendants."
Pros: "Great flight"
Pros: "Food was good. Attendants were helpful and courteous . Airline was on time."
Cons: "boarding was pretty chaotic. Check in was difficult getting seat assignments. Could not do it on line."
Pros: "However the connecting time for MUC to HEL was bit more."
Pros: "Smooth and quick ride."
Cons: "There was a metal rod situation under the seat in front of me, which meant my bag wouldnt even fit, not to mention my legs. Also, I am not the biggest fan of flying and I started feeling sick at the end of the flight - kept it to myself but asked the flight attendant if I could have 2 sparkling waters and an orange juice (just to have it in front of me when I need it and not to bother anyone). I received what I asked for with an eye-roll and a shocked face. Just be nice - that's all."
Pros: "i am glad that i got there safely and ahead of time"
Cons: "it was NOT a lufthansa flight, which is what i was expecting and wanted. it was a united flight . i wanted to fly lufthansa because it is a higher quality experience than united, but for some reason after i bought the ticket i learned that united was operating the flight for lufthansa"
Pros: "The crew was very pleasant and several announcements made the flight easy"
Cons: "We were late !"
Pros: "Service and meals were excellent and well organized."
Cons: "I booked the flight with Lufthansa and thought I was flying with them. When I first went to terminal C at Newark with my paperwork United told me I had to go to terminal B. I went to ' B ' and Lufthansa told me to go back to Terminal C , that I was flying on a United flight. So I went back and the United people helped me. It all worked out well but was initially confusing."
Cons: "The crew seemed not to Americans, funny is that I'm not even one just speak English well, rude!"
Pros: "i liked the borading line already lined up in the different groups"
Pros: "The direct connection to Milan The extreme fast flight with jet stream That the luggage arrived as well"
Pros: "Crew was nice on plane and they were trying to keep us filled with food and water."
Cons: "Horrible desk staff! Why would any airline refuse to allow a customer with kids on the plane a little sooner to allow for more time with organizing ourselves and kids. It's already intimidating to fly let alone internationally and for them to make us wait until our boarding time is inconsiderate. Plus united air had the absolute smallest and uncomfortable. I could not move and let along our poor toddler was cramped up. Our newborn was ok but it's like a 2 seat turned into 3 seats! Horrie."
Pros: "Free inflight movies thats about it.."
Cons: "Everything: the seats were highly uncomfortable, the stewardessses in the back were unfriendly and not accomadating. Any extra you requested seemed to be a bother! Again the seating was cramped and terrible. We booked with Luthansa yet ot was a united plane what a dissapointment!! One of the worse flights ever. Food was mediocer at best!"
Pros: "The food and the movies."
Cons: "Our initial flight was delayed by 2 hours and some, we lost the connecting flight from Munich to Cluj-Napoca, had to stay in the Munich airport for 12h, being very tired, hungry, having a terrible flu and fever, extremely pissed off, your personnel who did not tell us there was a relaxing area or that we were supposed to get food vouchers. The plane should've been checked and ready on time, and certainly not after some passengers boarded it. The new plane they switched it with was not properly cleaned, plus we had no earphones. One of the flight attendants was constantly passive-aggressive. I did not appreciate that at all. The tickets issued at Newark had no gate assigned for our connecting flight and with the delay and everything, more time was wasted with finding that. The boy who rebooked us for the next flight did not assist with anything, did not tell us about vouchers. after finding out about that, I was disappointed for receiving 12€ for 12h=one sandwich and one 0.5lt of mineral water. Seriously? It was not my fault that this happened. I expected better from Lufthansa."
