Not sure if it was the gentlemans first time but overall he and the woman working the boarding were very slow and could have been more efficient. We boarded late (may be out of their control) but when we started boarding there was too much wasted time between calling up the military/people with longer boarding needs/wheelchairs etc. They waited until they were completely boarded and settled prior to calling the next group then spent time fiddling with the sign that splits the boarding lanes etc. Just appeared that there was no sense of efficiency. Cons: "My itinerary was changed multiple times, most importantly impacting my arrival time into Victoria BC. This flight was changed twice, the first time I received an email notification telling me the new flight was an hour later. When I got my check-in email 24 hours before my trip was to begin I noticed the arrival time for my return flight had been changed again, this time arriving another hour later. I received no notice for this change. Other than a shuttle service, there are no late night public transit options from the Victoria airport into town--a 25 minute drive. I was left with 10 minutes between the late arrival of my flight to claim my bags, clear customs and try to make the last shuttle. I specifically purchased my ticket so I would have plenty of time to make this connection. I missed it and wound up having to take a $60 (not including tip) taxi to get into town. Changing my itinerary to arrive 2 hours later without notifying me is unacceptable. I've never had any pot-purchase itinerary changes happen to me on Alaska Airlines, which also has regular service between Seattle and Victoria. I'm inclined to make sure I always use them from now on."

Cons: "Airlines in general need to enforce the carry on luggage rules. If it doesn't match the dimensions for the carry on specks then make the people Check it. Don't let it go. If I paid for a seat and I'm allowed two carry ons then there should be room for them. Don't ask people to check bags because of a full plane. The crew should have there own place to store their belongings, not where the passengers do and take their space. The life rafts need to be easy to get to but again should take up a spot a passenger has paid for their luggage to go. If that is the only space for these items then don't allow passengers to bring two items if in those seats or on the whole plane. It's really disappointing when your told you may have to check your bag because there's not enough room."

Pros: "I paid only $100 more round trip to DTW from SLC then I would have with other carriers, minus the hassle of connecting flights and paying fees that they don't tell you about up front (like $25 for a carry-on bag, oh and a another $12 per leg for a window seat). My experience, like my previous Delta experiences was absolutely enjoyable. From the quick boarding, super friendly gate agents, and flight crew, to the free on board entertainment, Delta has won me over once again. Oh and did I mention how great it is to board a flight, relax and watch a good movie, take a small nap, and deplane at your destination! Awesome!!"

Cons: "Gate agent spoke so ridiculously fast and swallowed so many sounds that it was virtually impossible to understand most of what he was saying. Most importantly we all missed that our roll-on bags wouldn’t fight in the overhead bins. As a result many people pulled their bags on and fought and struggled to force their luggage above, only to give up. The on-board agents recognized early the problem and then proceeded to allow many other passengers to stroll by them with their large roll-on bags, only to delay the boarding process and frustrate everyone. When making their safety announcement the flight attendant was clearly competing for fastest speaking human and rushed through at blazing speeds. In all my 30+ years of travel, I’ve never heard anything like it."

Cons: "The check in had to be done in person because of the need to check my bag size, I felt a little insulted that I would have to be checked on my honesty. When I got to the check in it was like watching a special forces team measuring and prodding peoples bags to get them in to the little box even when the shapes were the reason they couldn't fit, not the size of the bags. I literally watched someone fit their bag and the attendant take it out and make it misshaped for the box and show how it didn't slide in. I had no issues with my luggage, but that sucked to watch happen to others. The food and drinks came about 10 minutes before the plane landed."

After retrieving our tickets, we went through Security and my goodness, the process at Newark is awful and TSA WAS EXTREMELY RUDE. That's besides the point. Our flight was delayed because the pilot was not there. Our departure was at 0605 and we didn't leave until 0630. Everyone boarded the plane and we were waiting for the pilot. Then the crew members were pretty rude and not friendly. I know it's an early bird flight but jeez, they can be a little nicer. One stewardess had high heel boots and literally would stomp up and down the aisle. Then she kept saying my purse was not under my seat which it clearly was. I don't know where else she'd like me to put it, maybe in the passengers seat in front of me. I would probably not fly United unless I have no other choice."

I shouldn't find something like that out when I get to the airport with my luggage in my hand."

Despite buying a seat with additional legroom in the front of the cabin, the seat on the airbus 319 was uncomfortable. The seat is narrow and has little cushioning and back support. In addition, the cabin was uncomfortably warm for the first half of the flight. I was among the first to board, but I was asked to put my back pack in the overhead compartment 2 rows behind my seat (again, I had paid to have a carry on item). This is a problem when deplaning, as everyone immediately takes up the aisle and there is no way to go back to retrieve the item until most of the other passengers have left the plane. The food/beverage service is for purchase only. The only complimentary service is a cup of water. There is no entertainment system, and little room for a laptop or even an ipad if the person in front of you reclines the seat."

There should be at lease one agent at all times who is dedicated to serving the passengers who do not need to pay. They should be in and out, not standing in line, when there is no payment to process. Then there is the total joke of the refreshments sales process on board the flight. It's not even worth going into that since I will never board another Frontier flight."

No explanation was offered and the compensation--a $400 credit toward a flight on another airline did not cover even the cost of my original ticket. The cancellation ended up costing me an additional $400, not to mention the inconvenience of spending a day in Atlanta and the added stress of having to find an additional flight and go through the hassle of security a second time. The flight staff at the gate was extremely terse when passengers asked about the reason for the cancellation. It was a very negative experience. I do not plan to fly Frontier again."

On my plane there was dog hair all around the three seat block, because the crew didn't have a vacuum cleaner available to them to clean up from the service dog on the previous flight."
Pros: "Horrible...AGAIN. I even bought a seat in row 2 in hopes of better comfort and a nap. No way. Crew SLAMMED drawers and doors andb turned bright lights off and on the whole way. In addition, the seats are just as uncomfortable up front in rows 1 & 2 as the rest of the plane. I'm short so more leg room wasn't what I was going for. Guess it's too much to expect a more comfortable seat, even when paying for it. Worst of all the flight was grossly delayed AGAIN...1 3/4 HRS. My last return flight from SLC to ATL was over 2 hrs delayed and by the time we arrived, the airport was closed. We had to be hussled out a back door (just tough if anyone had to use the bathroom), down a flight of stairs and across some distance to wait to be loaded ont to busses with wet seats , then driven to baggage claim. This time, the train closed down at T gates and we were detoured down to south terminal baggage claim...but needed to be in north baggage claim. Furthermore, the baggage crew must have taken a break in the middle of unloading bags. I waited nearly ONE HOUR for my bag, and there were still a good 30 or more passengers waiting for theirs when I got mine."

Our flight was supposed to leave at 5:20pm MTD and land on Atlanta before 11pm EST. We were notified about the delay about less than an hour before the flight. It was pushed to 5:50. Then 6:25. The actual flight didn't leave until almost 7:30 pm and landed in Atlanta passed 1am. This caused me south inconvenience. First, I had to take a half day off from work when I could've worked and got paid a full day. Next, the airline wasted hours of my time I can't get back. Time I could've spent with my family that I'm only seeing for a short period of time. By the time we got to the airport, which was way later than expected, the concourse trains were not operating anymore. What should've been a quick ride from concourse D to T turned out to be a 20+ minute walk to get out of the airport. Lastly, I missed my ride after getting of the airport. I was supposed to ride the train (Marta), but due to the delay, I missed the last ride. Not only was I inconvenienced but it trickled down to my family and had to wake up on the wie hours of the morning to pick me up at 2am. Overall, it was a terrible experience."
