Cons: You have to pay for anything you consume in the way of food and drink... even a glass of water to take a pill. My wife and I fly frequently and this will be our last time to fly Veuling. Other than the lack of any free beverages, the legroom is minimal, there is no TV and no electronic recharging at the seats.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: About 15 minutes before boarding, a gate agent came over to us and asked to see our boarding passes. He then told us that we had booked Economy Lite, which apparently meant that we were only allowed a carry on bag and no personal item. He said we would have to pay $35 euro apiece to check our suitcases so we could carry our personal item on. We had booked regular economy class through Kayak, and nothing was said by either Kayak or Czech Airlines about Economy Lite or bag limits. We then went up to the gate to talk with an agent about the lack of notice and to request that they waive the fee. They refused and told us to take it up with Kayak. (I agree that Kayak is responsible for not making us aware of this.) We then asked what it would have cost us to check the bags in advance and they said 25 euro. We asked if they would agree to charge us that instead of 35 euro. They refused to do that, and then the gate agent told us it would be 40 euro, not 35. We told her that the previous agent told us it would be 35 euro. She said, "well he was wrong." No apology for the confusion, and just rude overall. To top it all off, she then charged us 1220 Czech Crowns per bag. We asked her why so much, and she said that was the same as 40 euro. We told her that wasn't correct, and she said it was. We then showed her the exchange calculation on our phone and that she had charged us 200 Crowns too much. She then said, "well it's 45 euros, then." We pointed out that 45 euros wouldn't even be that much. At that point she said "then you can just write Czech Airlines" and walked off. It's easily the worst experience I have ever had with an airline. Completely unprofessional, rude, and downright dishonest. And like I said earlier, Kayak needs to be proactive and let people know these bag rules apply so they can either a) choose a different airline or b) save themselves some money and pay to check their bags in advance.

Pros: Comfortable seats

Cons: It was delayed with no reason and I missed my check in. I specifically purchased this flight vs the one at 10 pm to not miss check in. Ugh! 20 euro late fees. So, I paid more for the flight (because the 7pm was more than the 10 pm) and now I have to pay a late fee to check in. On top of that, I paid an additional service fee by booking though FlightNetwork and they did not book my checked luggage like the price breakdown said. It’s been terrible and a waste of time and money.

Cons: Could not board at 1 PM to Amsterdam from Lisbon as plane was seriously overbooked. Had to go around the airport to get my own luggage and to get new tickets issues to Barcelone that night and then a flight the next day to my destination in Amsterdam. I lost 20 hours, much of that time to get my flight and luggage rerouted. No Vueling représentative at Lisbon airport! Compensation is not easily obtained through website as advertised. Worse experience in 60 years of flying 10,000 miles a year.

Pros: Key to long haul flight is keeping everyone happy without forcing them to sleep. On a westbound flight arriving at night you want to get on the target timezone asap, this flight is the FIRST that really allowed me to do that without conflicting with people who don't know how to manage jet lag. The dimmable large windows and comfortable seat make it more comfortable. A/V with 3D map, online lunch ordering, being able to see outside without the bright sun bothering anyone, all worked well. +100 I was skeptical of the a la carte food & beverage service, without any regular service, especially on a long haul flight, but it seems to be much less hassle for stewards and frees up passengers to eat when they want. the food selection was meager and overpriced though. video system worked well, fortunately I found one good one, had all the trick play (replay, captions) so, ok, given meager selection. after 12 hour, people are tired, but few were visibly annoyed or crabby.

Cons: They didn't have place to put garbage on the airplane, we tried to stuff it in the bathroom once, we just left the rest in the empty seat next to us. Spanish airports don't have good queue management, only two boarding classes, makeshift line. People crowd the gate making it seem like they'r about to get on next confusing the people who actually are next.

Good 7.5

Cons: We ordered the assistance for transfer at the check-in. However the request was not sent to CDG airport. We got seats for the flight to San Francisco in two different raws and the Czech Airline representative refused to give us two near-by seats. Even water in the plane was offered for money.

Mediocre 3.3

Cons: To find out at checking in that we had to pay 35 euros per luggage because on the way there we had one free luggage per person but cero luggage on the way back????? Makes no sense, we were 4 of us, so we were not happy at all. I guess next time when booking online tripple check that BOTH WAYS have one free luggage!

Good 7.6

Pros: Good connection to Prague. Flight on time, boarding & check-in efficient.

Cons: Airline Charged us 35 Euro each to check small bag that we could carry on in US. Can only carry on 1 item. Can’t carry on a small backpack with small luggage. That counts as 2. Best to buy tickets that includes 1 checked bag. All drinks & food must be purchased. Nothing is complimentary.

Good 7.0

Cons: Given the price of the ticket, there should have been some basic food and drink options for free - like water. The boarding process was a free-for-all, very unorganized. The cabin crew was very friendly.

Okay 4.6

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Had to throw two pairs of cheap $10 boots away or pay another €35. they considered my backpack the carryon, my small purse the personal item. I could’ve easily crammed all this in front of my feet. They rose a big stink

Okay 4.3

Pros: The crew was friendly and attentive but really hard to understand

Cons: The airport was not well organized some parts very unattractive and lots of walking. The boarding process with the automatic check in was inefficient requiring so many staff. Requiring another security check before boarding seemed redundant and disorganized. Bathrooms were not convenient

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
