Too long a flight for just pretzels.
Pros: "The crew was friendly. The boarding process was very efficient. On-time departure and arrival. Check in process and baggage handling were exceptional."
Cons: "The flight was overbooked so every seat on the plane was taken. This made it very crowded and in the middle of the pandemic it made me uncomfortable."

Cons: "The seats are extremely restrictive and in a aisle seat I had the gentleman sitting next to me with thighs touching and attendants brushing by me as I squished to left to avoid contact with him. Entertainment screen between center seat and window seat so I just didn't even try to look at it and mostly just leaned forward to have a little space. Also another inch or 2 was taken by person in front of me putting their seat back. With such restrictive space why is this even possible??? Flying has become ridiculous and I try not to as much as I can."

Cons: "I could not pre-check or request different seats on the CP website. I think that this was because of issues with the website, apparently due to IT system communication between American Airlines and Cathay Pacific.......on all six flights. On the transfer in San Francisco, Customs was closed when we arrived in San Francisco and we had to haul all of our baggage from one terminal to the other. There was no direction on how to handle this issue of Customs being closed while on the flight to San Francisco. I had to explain the issue of to the CP customer service crew in SF. The CP desk and they had never heard of it. American Airlines was equally poorly trained. I will also say that while at the CP customer service, there were three young adult males that we're not busy at the time and the watched us unload the baggage carts onto the scales and conveyor and then reloaded on to the carts to push to the AA terminal. We handled the bags two additional times because the CP staff did not know what to do and how to handle it. Other passengers were confused as well."

Cons: "The flight was delayed an hour (which wound up being a 3.5 hour delay in total, with all the continual delays that pursued afterwards(, which would have made us miss our connecting flight back to our home destination. We switched flights in order to make it home at a decent hour and not spend our entire day and night in an airport. We arrived home and they did not transfer two of our three checked bags to our flight, thus making it highly inconvenient upon our arrival home with no luggage."
Cons: "The male flight attendant was incredibly rude, kept hitting my arms with his body with zero apologies. No manners when taking food and drink orders. Did not seem like he liked his job and in a customer service atmosphere this was extremely disappointing."

Cons: "...But having HBO NC-17 available on a public flight is uncalled for. Even though screens employ technology limit viewing from the side, the seats behind can see everything. We were thankful none of our kids were on this flight. Gratuitous sex scenes in abundance. No thanks American."
Cons: "Seat 20f It was very uncomfortable and freezing My legs were sore after the journey. Besides until 30 seconds before actual boarding time the members didn't inform about the delay. Everybody had formed lines and we see people getting out only then."

Pros: "The seat pockets were decent, though I like when the magazines have their own designated slot behind the tray in addition to a pocket. Also good there were power outlets. I liked that they didn't skip row numbers, including 13. So if you're in row 22, for example, you know that's literally how many rows back you are."

There was also apparently an issue with the auxiliary power -- the lights went out in back half of plane when we arrived at gate. I prefer having a screen behind each seat, rather than those attached to ceiling on this flight, so that the entertainment can be customized."

Pros: "Boarding the plane from the back first saved longer queues. Unfortunately people cheat and the boarding officers don't send them back to the right queue. Toilets were clean. Staff excellent. I was glad all my flights were stuffed to the gunnels. Presumably that is best for the environment rather than lots of planes with fewer passengers in each."
Cons: "Passport control with new computer ID checks was fast. Baggage was slow coming. I booked through Netflights and they didn't book me a good seat. If I could have changed it myself they should have told me. On the way to Tampa on 3rd March I couldn't check in within 24 hours and had to wait half an hour while they changed our plane. BA used to do short science programmes which I loved. Shame these have finished."

Pros: "Friendly, helpful flight attendants. Flight left and arrived on time, despite being completely full (asking for volunteers to bump). Offered to gate-check our carry-on bags for free to alleviate crowding of overhead bins was fine for us since we already had checked baggage."
Cons: "If you don't pay for the premium seats, the legroom is pretty tight. I'm only 5'8" and I felt it -- if you're 6'+ you better pay for it. This aircraft had screens, but not individual ones so you're stuck watching whatever sitcom replay they pick, although there is a moderate selection of other music. I've been on a newer aircraft with the in-seat power and interactive screens so I know how good it can be, so this was a little disappointing."

I feel sorry for American Airlines..Ok we landed safe..Thank God, that's something..."
