Find cheap flights from Washington to Cusco

Cons: "Terrible airline and airport system... the boarding system is a disaster... after waiting in line for so long they send you to different counters to pay for bags... on top of that they didn’t check in one of the 6 in my group by the attendant’s mistake and they closed the flight in us...there is a bussing system that “takes you to the plane” and when we finally made it to our gate the bus made their last of the 2 trips to the plane. So we lost our flight to Cusco and ruined our entire first day of touring in Cusco..... your system or multiple check in/ cashier/customer service counters is a disaster and it makes zero sense. I will NOT fly latam again."

Pros: "Crew cordiality"
Cons: "Luggage....it is allowed to charge but they shouldn’t charge. During on boarding they communicate that because the cabin was full of hand luggage the rest of the passengers needed to dispatch their hand luggage for free. This occurs only because they charge to dispatch luggage when buying the tickets. So nobody dispatch luggage and those who dis became frustrated because they payed. This unfortunately occurs on all companies."

Cons: "Latam could be better if permit that customer can change the sit at check in."

Cons: "Crazy early. Boarding pass says gate closes by 1205 (for scheduled 1220 departure). We TOOK OFF (in air) before 1200. We got yelled at because we arrived only 1 hour early — should be 3 hours early for an “international flight”. Luggage very difficult, Must rush, etc. But everything turned out great. Scl is crazy airport — 20 minute wait for gate ramp when we got there (still 20 minutes early, instead of 40! On a 60-minute scheduled flight!). Huge long walk to immigration. Pretty long wait for bags. But it all worked out fine."

Pros: "The seats and plane were comfortable"
Cons: "Baggage options were not indicated properly on the travel agent ticket, nor during check-in"

Pros: "The pilots were polite and arrived early at destination."
Cons: "Could provide a menu card, like every other airline. Instead of listing every single option to everyone on the plane. And maybe use bigger cups that hold more than 3-4 ounces?? Especially when the airport takes away peoples liquids (see below). Ridiculous. Not necessarily with flight, more with Lima airport “security” - they took away ALL bottled liquids more than 3 oz. AT THE GATE. Even bottled water purchased 20 feet from the gate. And they couldn’t explain why. Just got a bunch of shrugs. Why take sealed water purchased at their own airport away before an international 8+ hour flight???"

Pros: "Boarding process was smooth."
Cons: "Didn’t have any options for drinks for purchase. Had one beer for sale and it was room temp"

Cons: "The email we received with our reservation it included a personal belonging and carry on, however at the counter they said in their system it was not registered like that and even though we showed them the confirmation email, they charged us for the carry on."

Pros: "the good treatment of the staff"
Cons: "the flight schedule at dawn is usually a bit tired"

Cons: "I traveled with LATAM from USA to Lima however from Lim to Cusco was terrible. I was told st check in that there were no more seats left on the flight. I was told it’s legal for them to sell more tickets than seats and there is nothing they could do but place me in the next available in flight ~4hrs"

Cons: "My luggage was delayed on the previous leg of trip, so I didn't have it on arrival in Cusco. Also, after booking I was unable to modify the reservation to add 1 checked bag, so I had to pay a large fee at the airport."

Pros: "It was on time and boarding was efficient. I’ve never been on a flight where they board window seats first, then middle, then aisle. I can see how that makes a lot of sense and makes the process better."
Cons: "I wasn’t sure why my small rolling luggage was being tagged and told to be left at the gate. Others had their rolling pieces brought onto the plane and there was enough room, so I was a little worried about if someone was going through it or if it would make it to the destination. It did show up."

Cons: "Un vuelo se demoro SIETE VECES mas tiempo, es una tortura estar encerrado siete horas perdiendo el tiempo en un avión PEOR si es que nos dicen que no se puede aterrizar por mal clima y otras aerolíneas si llegan al destino, la verdad ahora si prefiero viajar por LCPeru, Star, AVIANCA, Viva Air porque si no hay diferencia en el servicio pues pago algo menos, no vale la pena seguir trabajando con LATAM"

Pros: "Que sean transparentes y velen por los usuarios, tranquilamente pueden enviarnos en otro avión o enviarnos en otra aerolinea de otra empresa del grupo"

Cons: "Llegue a tiempo, justo 1hora y media antes de la salida, y aun ya hecho el checking online, no me dejaron subir al avion. Cuando fui al counter de latam, esos rateros, me cobraron 30us para ponerme en el siguiente vuelo, el cual muy bonito, se retraso 3 HORAS sin dar una razon! Y adivinen que? Pues no me devolveran nada, ni mucho menos mi tiempo. Latam es una porqueria...."

Pros: "We arrived safely, there was no major problems and the crew was great."
Cons: "They changed my flight without previous notice to an earlier one, it was for around 20 min earlier but still they should send you a notice. Now they charge you for everything you eat, before they gave you a little snack. Also, there's traffic on both airports so that's something unpleasant too."

Pros: "Flight was on time; crew professional."
Cons: "My luggage was lost and this was very distressing to be in a foreign country without my belongings. I was without clothing and personal items for more than 24 hours. I find this unacceptable."

Pros: "I have bought a ticket from To Aeroparque Jorge Newvery; and they cancelled the flight and sent me to Ezeiza without prior inform, concent and without any compensation."

Pros: "Enjoyed looking at the Andes. Flight was underbooked. Open seats."
Cons: "Boarding was a cattle call. Typical these days. Crew was aloof. Brought my own food and drink because i know how airlines can be. Didn't pay much attention. Looked out the window."

Cons: "Customer service was not friendly or helpful in any way shape or form. not concerned for its guests or empathetic. the only thing that came across was that they sincerely didn't care even to make the airline more $$ in selling an upgrade of seats!"

Cons: "My original flight was supposed to land at 8:55pm but I was notified that it had been changed to land closer to midnight which was a problem because my hotel closed at midnight. After talking to the customer service agent at the airport he told me the reason my flight had changed was because my original airplane was flying out of another airport and the only way to make the flight that I had booked was to take a cab ride to the other airport. What he didn't explain was that its a 45+ minute drive between the two airports and I only had about 1.5 hours to get my bag, get on the taxi, check in at the other airport, clear security AND customs. Somehow by the grace of god it all came together but it was certainly a harrowing experience, not to mention the $45 I lost in cab fares. I cannot recommend LAN/LATAM."

Pros: "Short flight, everything on time"
Cons: "As we had two lines for boarding and only one lady attending us, boarding was kind of messy"

Cons: "The flight did not land, it returned to Lima"

Cons: "Why offer so much flights to Cusco and then cancel it the night before? Almost give us a heart attack. Had to place an international call to their US office from Lima to find out what our next morning flight will be at 11pm!"

Pros: "People at checkin and crew members are super friends and helpful. There where even beverages and snacks included on that relatively short flight. At Dutch Airlines this would be extra, even then Dutch fares are higher. Kudos for Latam."
Cons: "It took very long taxiing before takeoff"

Cons: "Everything. We booked flights a half year in advance yet they forced a couple of us to upgrade to premium in order to get seats. They then separated one of the couples with premium seating without notice so some other couple could sit next to each other. Their website didn't allow us to use an electronic boarding pass. Its cumbersome and uninformative. Some of the attendants are incredibly rude."

Pros: "the take off and landing were good"
Cons: "Because we didn't know Spanish, we were confused as to which line we should board for the flight. After waiting for 15 minutes in the line, we were told we should have been on another line. there were alot of english-speaking persons on the plane and it would have been good to make announcements in english also."

Cons: "No entertainment, food was saltine crackers, staff made us put down the blinds so we couldn't even look out the window. Will never fly this airline again"

Cons: "It was cancelled with little explanation from the airlines or airport. And with little help afterwards."

Pros: "They have most of the boxes checked, but none of it matters if your knees are getting crushed, and then the person in front of you puts the seat back and nearly breaks them."
Cons: "The first leg of the flight, from DC to Lima, was fine. But from Lima to Cuzco, I was in agony. My knees were already tightly pressed to the seat in front of me when I sat down, and as soon as the man in front of me put his chair back, it folded my legs down and to the side in an exceptionally painful way. I got to sit like that for hours. The man next to me was also tall, so he got to experience the same kind of pain when the woman in front of him put her chair back. I am going to skip that leg on the way back and just fly out of Lima."
