Austrian Airlines help and service was fine, but Kayak misled us into believing we had purchased a Business Class ticket. In fact, the tickets were only upgraded Coach Class tickets with luggage restrictions that belonged to the Coach Class. Very disappointed! Paid over $$$$ 9K for the two tickets. Very disappointing!
Quick and organized boarding process, friendly staff but not as many snacks and drinks as the previous flight overnight

Five star experience all around except for my seat, which was broken. It would only go down 70%.Of the way. It defeats the purpose of buying a business class ticket if you don’t actually get to lay flat..

WiFi would have been nice and some more powerful usb ports, available ports could not keep my phone’s charge much less charge the phone.
Tirana was crazy check in and getting bussed to another gate. Both Germany stops were intensive customs but organized, but that wasn't the airlines problem. The crews were fabulous on the planes. The announcements were not easy to understand in English, slurred speech. Customs inthe US were fast. We waited for luggage, three later arriving planes had their luggage and left before us
Business class old style from 10 years ago. Ok for short flights but nor for 12 hours journey. The passenger near the window have to jump over the passenger seat aisle side or wake him up to upright the seat. That’s not the business class that you expect on long night flight. Seats are not so confortable. And believe it or not no wifi!
We have travelled on 13 December with Austrian Airlines from Yangon through Bangkok and Vienna to Varna. The first flight operated by Thai Airlines was nice and comfortable. I wouldn’t say the same thing about the next two flights which were operated directly by the Austrian Airlines. During our flight from Bangkok to Vienna: > The service was very poor – serving of food and drinks was disorganized, late and not combined, the stewards were walking back and forth without doing anything substantial for the passengers. Even the morning breakfast was very late with a cup of coffee almost while landing (after a reminding). > The food itself was OK-ish but for a 12-hour flight, there were no snacks/bites in between dinner and breakfast as it is with the other airlines. > The cutlery was wooden, most probably recycling, but very unpleasant to eat with. > The stewards were not rude but not friendly and/or helpful > And also, half of the passengers had travel sets, others did not. The flight from Vienna to Varna was another surprise: firstly, the flight was late and secondly, they were serving only water free, even the coffee was paid, so were the snacks, but we had to pay to reserve seats. The whole experience is as if it was a low-cost airline. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend using the services of Austrian Airlines: the ticket prizes are quite the same as of the other carriers flying to this destination and you would have much pleasant time.
The plan was delayed for takeoff by an hour, but we ended up making the landing on time which was a nice surprise.

Poor. Seats uncomfortable. No leg room. Hot and humid the whole trip. Food and staffs were ok.
The seats were so close together, when the man in front of me put his seat back, the screen in front of me was 9 inches from my face. There is no way to lean forward if I needed to pick something up. It was pretty uncomfortable for a ten hour flight. I was very surprised.
The food was good. Most the staff was pleasant. The flight would be drastically improved with WiFi on a long international flight.
Swiss airline do not allow online check-in before 24 hrs, this is very inconvenient to us. I tried many ways such as booking code(6 numbers) or 13 booking numbers , neither of them work, Lufthansa is better which allow us to check in even before 30 hrs, so we can assign our seats( not many people want spend extra money to assign seats on top of airfare which is already spent.)
When I needed to get my bag off of the plane so that I could take a train because the connection was 4 hours later, they took 2 hours to take my bag off making me take the train and miss my flight simultaneously. The seat size on the plane is too small for an average aged woman let alone a middle-aged man. It's unacceptable and I will not fly Boeing again.
The cushion of the seats are old and very thin. The food can be more tasty or come with salt packages
The biggest let down was with booking experience through Kayak. I booked a flight with checked bags on Kayak. Right away I got a message from travel agency that the flight is not confirmed and to call them. I called them and they said the flight I have booked is no longer available with the price I have booked it for and I can book it with about $100 more. I already had other options I could book with cheaper price so I asked them to cancel my booking. Then they said I can have the ticket with the same price but a date change which was not working for me as I had to be there for a seminar. So again I said no then they said they will cover the charges and confirm my flight. When comes time for check-in I see I have no checked bag option which means the travel agency deceived me saying I can have my booking as I had booked it. And at that point I ended up paying $155 for my checked bag going back and forth. I am extremely angry and unhappy with this experience
PLEASE DONT TAKE FORCEFULLY(SIZE APPROPRIATE) CARRY ONS FROM PASSENGERS WHO FOR SOME REASON NEED TO KEEP IT
The economy seat was so uncomfortable, had not enough leg room for 13 hours flight, front seat basket was broken and couldn’t hold anything, food quality was horrible( we got food poisoned ) we charged for logged which used to be free. We paid too much for this flight and very disappointed. Turkish air line better to make satisfy and respect people instead of find different way to scam people.
This is really the rating of two flights. JFK to IST then IST to NQZ. New York to Istanbul was good. Good crew and all positives. The flight to Astana was so bad that brought it all down. Crew was nonexistent above the minimum, seats were cramped, and it was hot on the plane. Turkish Airlines seems to be slipping down to US based carriers level.
The 2 agents on the check in counter were super nice , helpful and very polite. Boarding was like a 1 2 3, I would recommend Turkish airlines for your next trip.

Bad experience; they are not good anymore. They charge too much for luggage seat are so uncomfortable, Flight delays which may miss your next flight, they don’t care if you miss the flight or not. Zero customer services for front desk representatives Istanbul's airport I’m not using this airline any more.
I’ve been traveling for 20 years. I tried Turkish airline for the first time horrible horrible service and it would be my last time even if I get offer for a free ticket, I will not accept it. They have races and the worst Flight attendant
It wasn't good. I didn’t understand. They changed 320 dollars for 2 luggage. My ticket was regular and I paid almost 1200.00 dollars. Why they did charge? I want my money back.. thanks Yılmaz polat
