Cons: "The aircraft seemed to be really old. The entertainment system on the seat I was allotted did not work, and I had to change seats. In the new seat, the entertainment system worked, but the seat didn't recline, and I had to change seats again - from an initially allotted aisle seat, to a middle seat. Also, the food service time was weird - we got a full lunch about an hour before we landed, which didn't make sense, and had to wait almost 5 - 6 hours between brunch and our next meal - a movie snack. Most passengers were famished by the time the lunch was served. Also, why was there no wifi?"

Cons: "Doha to Washington plane was an old plane where entertainment system did not function properly, seats did not recline etc. Emirates A380 is a lot more comfortable plane."

One of the economy rest-rooms were out of order and I was allowed to utilize the business class restroom by the flight attendant. Head bursar was very apologetic and sympathetic about the whole issue. Enjoyed my flight, again on Qatar!"

Pros: "My husband and I recently traveled from New York to Bali Indonesia for our honeymoon. We were upgraded to Business for all four of our flight segments. The flight attendants were incredibly friendly and courteous and were actually surprised when we only ordered one drink and one meal at a time! The food was phenomenal, especially for an aircraft meal, and no matter what I was in the mood for, they had it."

If the person in front of me reclined all the way, they crushed my knees and I'm only 5'7". - Bathrooms were dirty by 4 hours into the 14 hour flight. Sinks clogged, garbage can overflowing. Not just one bathroom. Gross. - Worst flight attendant service I've ever had, and I don't expect much since I've traveled a lot. Service was rushed, coffee cart for our side of plane never arrived, when I walked to the back to ask for some, they couldn't find the milk and made a fuss about looking for sugar. Lots of similar examples throughout the flight. - The baggage claim carousel number never appeared on the screens at IAD after landing. Other flights showed but not Quatar. We waited a while then walked around to check them all until we found the right carousel. Never seen this happen before. - One of our bags never appeared, so we waited until all luggage had come out and checked with the counter. They found our bag somewhere and brought it over after a 20 minute wait. No explanation given. Good thing we'd counted bags."

Cons: "QA HQ did not respond to the emergency with professionalism. They did a decent job w/hotel accommodation but only the hotel reception provided any communication. Only constant complaints led to food being provided at the airport after a 6 hour wait to board. No compensation was offered by QA when we arrived in Doha. Nothing. Exceptionally poor performance by an airline you expect more from."

Cons: "After the flight landed we had to present our boarding passes one by one so they could be inspected again and our names were crossedoing off some list. It really slowed down meeting our ride and getting to customs. I think it also contributed o our flight being delayed since the flight before us had to do the same thing as they disembarked. I would be more concerned if my flight had a close connection if this is a standard practice. This was my first flight with Qatar. If the practice is standard I won't keep flying them."

One of them looked like she had rolled out of bed ten minutes before arriving at the gate. It was the complete antithesis to the flight attendants on Hong Kong Airlines. Ah, for the good old days of air travel. Before the plane ever took off it was announced the the entertainment system on the seat back ahead of those in comfort seats was not working and wouldn't be for the duration of the flight. Having paid an additional $239 for the comfort seat in the hopes of making a 16-hour flight go by a bit faster, this was unconscionable. The food was far inferior to Hong Kong Airlines. In short, it was the trip from hell."

Pros: "I was happy to be able to get a flight on a flight that offered free entertainment through the United Mobile app. I just don't understand why your airline doesn't offer free internet and entertainment. It seems like a small price to pay to keep your passengers comfortable. Get with the program and the rest of the industry."
Cons: "Once again, United first changed my flight which increased my layover from a little over an hour to three hours, and then our flight was delayed by three hours, making our total layover time over six hours. United does this more than any other major airline. I am actually considering switching my United Mileage plus credit account to one of your competitors."

Shuttle service could have been mentioned. The area of the airport I would need to get to in Chicago was not known. Although thr flight to Chicago was by far not full Iwas denied my request to take my roll on on the flight. It fits under seat. I am 70 and had to run across the airport."

Cons: "The plane didn't board on time because it wasn't clean. Then they were fussing to move people between seats. So 20 minutes later we're ready to taxi but then there was a "traffic jam". Consequently, we landed nearly an hour late and I missed my connecting flight. Then united didn't pay for a hotel because air traffic delays aren't payable. You would think their customer service efforts would be stronger right now given everything that has happened recently but I guess not..."

STRANDED AT AIRPORT TIL AFTER 9 PM, when hotel shuttle could come get me! Missed seeing my mother, who is in a Skilled Nursing Facility here -- THE ENTIRE REASON FOR MY TRIP! And now I can't see her this morning either, because I have to take the hotel shuttle BACK TO THE AIRPORT to pick up the rental car that I PAID IN ADVANCE TO RESERVE BEGINNING YESTERDAY!!!"

However, there was no restriction or clause listed on the ticket stating that I had to cancel through priceline also. It really should not matter who I cancelled through, if I canceled within 24hrs the refund should be given. Also, the debits from my account said United as well as priceline taking me to United's web page to make the purchase. So of course one would think cancelling through United's site is appropriate. I'm very disappointed in United and will consider all other options (Airlines) before booking with them again. PS - United customer gave me the run around for 3 days knowing that it was their policy and they were the company who's keeping my money. Absolutely ridiculous."

At the time of my flight to White Plains at 1:50 PM there was no snow in Chicago or at White Plains, Moreover the 6 PM flight left to White Plains when it was snowing both here and there. The only option given to me was standby on the 6PM flight. So, I had to cancel my flights and it ruined myu weekend."

The agents sent us to customer service 12 gates away but they didn't know what was going on so they sent us to another customer service desk 21 gates away. Cathy of United finally called the gate(or plane) and found out that the problem was almost fixed...a hour later."

All the things needed to make a horrible flying day an even worse day for customer service. BUT the flight crew and terminal teams did an amazing job keeping things together and keeping guests happy. They communicated all the information they knew in a timely manner, and made sure to correct any connections that needed to be processed before the plan landed. Also they kept their calm as people flipped out."

I must say had I known it was going to Be that small I would have driven to my destination probably would have been much better for my knees and thighs. There needs to be a revamping of the seating size and space on these planes. The fact that you have to pay to watch T.V , 7.99, is a bit of a joke."
