Cons: "Due to bad weather and flooding, I could not get to the airport for my flight. I called Just Fly and they said there was nothing they could do. I had to pay an extra $350 to get my flight rescheduled. I thought that due to bad weather, customers can get flight rescheduled at no extra cost? As soon as I rebooked my flight, both airport in Houston closed anyways. So is this still my fault and did I have to still pay an extra $350??"

"You can't check in now because it's a US flight, so it's only 24 hours". "You can't check in now because of visa documents something you have to check in at the airport". None of this was written down, or even satisfactorily explained when I tried to understand what was going on. Next time I'll fly Asiana on the hope they have a better online seat selection system that doesn't involve bizarre US checkin policy."

Cons: "(1) Was about to miss flight because originally my flight booking was from Benazir International Airport Islamabad but t the time of flight I boarded from a different and new airport in Islamabad which had become operational in Islamabad in the last week of April 2018 . My flight was on 10th May 2018 from Islamabad to Doha to Chicago but neither my online booking site ( Kayak ) not Qatar Airways sent any notification that my Boarding was changed from Banzir International Airport to the newer, bigger airport. Consequently , on the day of flight, I went to check in and board from the Bnazir International Airport but upon reaching the airport I was told that the airport was no more in operation. I was surprised to hear that all flights were to be from the newer airport. By the time I rerouted my taxi to the new airport I was already late for my flight but fortunately the flight from Islamabad to Doha, Qatar was delayed and I made it to the boarding time and flew to Doha , Qatar and then to Chicago."

It's a long haul - 16+ hours, and if you have to go economy as a 6 foot tall person, their seats recline well, seemingly better than many. You have to plan your long layovers, and they do offer assistance with hotel transfers, but they don't advertise this very clearly - so do your homework before flying!"

Healthy options on they food menu and delicious food and beverages. I am looking forward to traveling with Qatar airways again in the future."

It was not a good start to the flight."

They did so with kind and smile within 10 minutes while it was very difficult due to boarding time and luggage switching Boarding was okay Crew also was kind, responsive, Food was great Entertsinment was the issue due to airplane size and airplane facilities like Internet and entertainment tv screen was not in your seat Thank you so much Qatar Airways"

For someone of my height (5’5”) that was problematic. Fortunately another passenger saw my dilemma and held the bin lower to its full opening capacity. I understand that we had to turn back due to his condition but why was he not removed from the plane and put on a later flight when he felt better instead of making all of us late? You would think after all this the crew would be kind and appreciate our patience but 2 of the flight attendants were the exact opposite of that. Both of them were very short with people and the one kept rolling her eyes at people as they were handing out drinks. The only thing I would give 5 stars is the tv entertainment. My seat wouldn’t even recline for me to enjoy though."

Too much pepper in the salad dressing, though. Besides the food, the rest of the flight was good; not much turbulence, and I got a lot of rest."

Cons: "Seats are too tight and uncomfortable"

Pros: "The flight to Indy was not full. The crew did a great job of spreading people out so that everyone would be more comfortable. Everything went smoothly and even landed early"

Cons: "Late flight. No support to find back-up flights. No help with tips of how to navigate chicago airport to hopefully get to connecting flight in timely manner. Shuttle service could have been mentioned. The area of the airport I would need to get to in Chicago was not known. Although thr flight to Chicago was by far not full Iwas denied my request to take my roll on on the flight. It fits under seat. I am 70 and had to run across the airport."

Pros: "Crew was accommodating. The flight was comfortable. The plane departed on time. The gate personnel were very helpful. When I got off the plane and saw that I did not have a gate assignment, one of the crew pulled out their phone, opened an app, and based on my flight number, told me what my gate was and where to go for the tram. Thank you!"

Pros: "One crew member had a sense of humor."
Cons: "My seat was broken and wouldn't stay in upright position. This really pissed off the passenger behind me. Crew kept telling me to put my seat upright, I kept having to tell them the seat was broken. Old airplane with no in-seat entertainment. they advertise on the seat that you can watch all their entertainment content for free, but then you have to pay for wifi to watch so it's not free then, is it? Every movie or show requires "additional software" so you have to purchase internet to do the download. This is an 11 hour flight, I would have appreciated being able to watch a movie or something without forking out $30. Flight was delayed, so we were low on time to make our connection. I asked a flight attendant twice if we could get help deplaning early or at least get moved up some rows since we were in the very back of a 747 (there were plenty of vacant seats). They said no, and told us that customs would only take a minute and that the other united flight knew we'd be coming and would wait. I don't usually fly united; other airlines typically will actively take steps to help (like moving connecting passengers to the front shortly before landing) if they are the cause of the delay. Customs had only one agent working and we were pretty much last in line so that process took over an hour. Just moving us 10 rows forward before landing would have made all the difference because our connecting flight closed its doors and taxied for takeoff less than 5 minutes before we arrived. They had some united employees guiding and directing a couple of passengers that were going to be late for a connection to LAX, but no help for those of us connecting to portland. Customer service didn't even offer a verbal apology. Last time I flew with united, I also had a terrible experience for different reasons. I did not intend to fly united for this flight, but I purchased tickets through and for Lufthansa, and this flight was regrettably operated by united. Another thing I don't like - the food was horrendous. It was a breakfast sandwich that was advertised as "hot and fresh" on the packaging but was served straight from the refrigerator. I was in the middle seats with one person to my left and two people to my right. Everyone took only one bite and threw away the rest. Just don't bother serving the food if it's going to be that bad, it's very wasteful. I always appreciate a hot towelette after a long overnight flight. United offered no such thing which was a first for me. Regarding boarding: they called us all up to line up in boarding groups and then we had to stand in line for 65 minutes. I have a bad back and had to sit on the carpet to avoid being last in line and not having space for my carry on bag. Would have been nicer if they would have just let us sit in the chairs at the gate in comfort until they were ready to board."

Pros: "The crew was nice. Coffee was great."
Cons: "The plane was dirty. Doesn't look like it's been thoroughly cleaned in ages. My seat was broken. Had to sit upright the entire trip. Bathroom door wouldn't stay closed."

Cons: "It wasn't United's fault that their flight was delayed so that was the only snafu in the entire trip"

Cons: "My flight out of traverse city was cancelled but I rebooked on a different airlines through united to be able to get to my destination in time for an event that day. It was a long process but I made it and really appreciated all the work the agent on the phone did for me. When I arrived at the airport they had my resvervation but no ticket... luckily we worked it out"

Cons: "No complaints. Everything went well."

Cons: "Generally cramped and we sat on the tarmac for about an hour before taking off for some reason."

Cons: "My flight out of Chicago was cancelled. I hate when they lie to you that it was weather related. At the time of my flight to White Plains at 1:50 PM there was no snow in Chicago or at White Plains, Moreover the 6 PM flight left to White Plains when it was snowing both here and there. The only option given to me was standby on the 6PM flight. So, I had to cancel my flights and it ruined myu weekend."

Cons: "No mechanics available and had to send for some, taking 5 hours. Didn't get to destination until late at night and missed my event."

Pros: "Loved that the crew was attentive."
Cons: "I wanted to charge my device, no outlets available. No TV screen available for movies, just makes the time go by faster when I'm distracted."

Pros: "All fights.. On time made it home safely Friendly crew both ways.."
Cons: "Entertainment should be easier to access.. And Free!!"

Cons: "The staff member in the boarding gate was very unorganised she was announcing incorrectly two times , which make the passengers confused. Leg room inside the flight was to tight."

Pros: "Price though in future I will pay more to avoid United."
Cons: "My son was flying and arrived at airport without enough money to pay for his checked bag. I offered to pay by credit card but they refused to even talk to me. No one offered any suggestions and they were rude and uncaring. It's appalling to see people act that way. You will never get another dime of my money."

Cons: "One flight attendant was very grumpy--he just wanted to sit and play on his phone. He was brusque with people. The other man (who was learning French) made up for him by being nice"

Cons: "My flight from Grand Rapids MI to Denver CO was fine. When I arived in Denver i found out my flight was 3 hours lat because the plane had not left yet, i will never fly united again"

Pros: "I liked that I was given spacious accommodations for myself and my service animal."
Cons: "I didn't like that we then sat on the plane for 2 hours, then had to get back off. I don't really blame United Airlines for this because there was a storm. But if Kayak wants me to rate the flight I'd have to say it was bad because it didn't even occur."

Pros: "New aircraft, great crew. Arrived a tad early. Easy boarding a deplaning. Ground staff very professional."
Cons: "Paid extra for economy plus. It's still pretty tight on legroom. The new seats have *very little* storage space for personal items like a bottle of water, tablet computer, book, etc. Really, it's insufficient. Blankets too small and thin to compensate for cold cabin temps."

Pros: "The flight attendant finally took care of it after I complained a couple of times."
Cons: "That you changed our seats, and, that there was no room in any of the overhead bins. So, the flight attendant told me that I needed to fight my way through the people coming toward me back up the aisle and check every overhead bin all the way back up to see if there was room for my one suitcase. Others had brought more than one bag up there. Finally they checked my one carry on bag. The ride was also really bumpy, worst that we've ever experienced. But that was due to weather conditions."

Pros: "Here's the situation- There are massive storms across the state, massive delays across the nation, and a tiny airport packed full of people. All the things needed to make a horrible flying day an even worse day for customer service. BUT the flight crew and terminal teams did an amazing job keeping things together and keeping guests happy. They communicated all the information they knew in a timely manner, and made sure to correct any connections that needed to be processed before the plan landed. Also they kept their calm as people flipped out."
Cons: "I didn't lol the size of the white planes airport. That plan could hold about 150 people at best.... There was at least 600"

Cons: "Had purchased a round-trip ticket. While in D.C. on a family trip to bury my mother in Arlington National Cemetery, my brother had a massive heart attack. After 3 weeks, he was stable enough to come back to Houston on an air ambulance. As I travelled with him on the air ambulance, I was unable to use the return portion of my round-trip ticket. I provided documentation of the situation and requested a refund. I received $106 on a $715 ticket. There was no explanation of how they determined the refund, but I'm not happy."
