The customer service person was not at all helpful, and told me there were no other flights available on any airline until the next day. However, I was able to go online and book another flight immediately...which means that she was either being disingenuous or actively undermining efforts to get me home in a timely fashion. Very disappointing and as a SkyMiles member would have thought there would be some level of common courtesy dealing with a non-weather related delay that drastically impacted my travel plans."

Pros: "The Delta people were solicitous, efficient and brilliant the whole way through. We had not a bit of trouble. Our first class seats were comfortable, but with the supplied blanket, pillow and poor air conditioning it was a hot flight. The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Cons: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."

Not sure how, but even though I bought virgin Australia ticket and flight, I ended up on delta. Terrible sitting, even though after I paid for tickets I was charged extra for more leg room and priority boarding, I got neither, they advertised free texts in flight, it didn't work either."

Got to watch bag handlers throw and drop luggage like true gorillas. Delta, this time you truely are the worst. Wont book you again."

Pros: "They held the plane for me. Due to customs and TSA, I had to run across the airport, and then a bus to the correct terminal to catch the plane. I arrived at the gate a couple of minutes after it was closed. THANKFULLY the gate agent came back (he was on the plane) and issued my seat ticket (it had been upgraded) and led me to the plane. So, didn't miss my flight, AND had a seat upgrade."

Cons: "While my experience with Virgin Australia was good, I will not book with them due to the co-share with Delta Airlines. I missed my connecting flight from LAX to JFK due to additional security screening. As such I was advised to head to the Delta terminal to be booked onto the next available flight to NYC. After waiting over an hour in line to be seen by a staff member, I was told that they couldn't change my ticket as it was a Virgin flight. The same staff member didn't seem to even understand the concept of 'co-share', and also told me that because I booked through Kayak and not Delta that they could not help me. This makes me think that booking through a third party is a risky move. I was told there was absolutely nothing she could do, and that I would have go to a Virgin Australia Counter. This involved taking all of my luggage from Terminal 5 - all the way to Terminal 3. I was assisted by Virgin Australia, where they apologized for my experience, and confirmed that it was Delta's responsibility (and that they were capable) of rebooking my flight. Virgin booked me onto a later flight, but I still had to walk back to Terminal 5 (Delta) to give them my checked luggage. I was once again told that I didn't have the right ticket (details listed Virgin and Delta flight number - so this was way too confusing for them). Finally they printed my a boarding card and took my bags. I then ran through security and to gate in time for my flight. Flight was fully booked, due to a many people no doubt experiencing the same thing. Food was awful. Was a big step down from the Virgin flight in every aspect. There was not a single Delta Staff member who would even try to understand or be helpful. I will never fly with Delta again."

Cons: "The boarding process was confusing, with staff members holding signs creating arbitrary waiting areas for each of the boarding zones. If this is the boarding process, maybe something more structured can be implemented, otherwise people just end up everywhere. The seat back entertainment on this 777-200 suffered from the most capricious touch-screens ever. I would frequently tap a control on the screen only to have a control at the far corner of the screen be "pressed" instead. Annoying."

Cons: "The entire HUGE MESS from booking til sitting on our last airplane. The “new reservation” system is a horrible joke. The right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing so you get completely wrong info and they won’t do anything about it. I’m a wheelchair assist and had to call 6 times to remind them to put it on my ticket even though each time I was shown that it had been added. They kept seating on the back row of the plain and blamed me for not calling ahead to “let them know I was wheelchair assist so they could reseat me” BUT...they won’t answer you call unless it’s 24 before your flight and then to check at the airport who then tells us it’s out fault cause we didn’t call more then 36 hrs ahead...YOU CANT CALL THAT FAR AHEAD...and ...get this “they don’t have wheelchair assist on my ticket/file”. I about lost my mind over the hours on hold and every different answer as to what what to do and in the end blamed us. ASTONISHING TO ME. THEN THEY HAVE THE NERVE ON-BOARD TO ANNOUNCE THEY ARE THE BEST AIRLINE IN NORTH AMERICA 2019...HORSE PUCKY!!!"

Cons: "The fact I didn't even make it to my destination. Not one person working for Air Canada gave me the impression they knew what was going on. They certainly didn't apologize for ruining my vacation and they did not try to do a single thing to help us make our flight or make the disappointment of missing it any better."

Pros: "They seemed like a good airline. It was my first time flying with them, and I got upgraded to business class on the very first flight of my trip. What a great first impression! They're quite service oriented, with attendants speaking multiple languages. The in-flight magazine was good but not available on every plane. The food was usually pretty good, and the live map was convenient."
Cons: "All of the flights were late (I had 6 of them on this trip, all thru Air Canada, and not a single one departed on time). All of my layovers were long, except one, which was planned to be about an hour but ended up being less than 30min. That one was a pain: had to go through Canadian customs and then run across the Toronto airport, but thankfully my next flight was still boarding - and ended up running late because they had to de-ice the plane. One of the flights ran late, and as we were reaching the gate a passenger felt the need to yell racist/ignorant comments at a fellow passenger who wouldn't sit down, and then the flight attendant - overall that was a real shame."

Cons: "left with 2 hours delay because the fuel was not ready. Then we had an unexpected landing in Vancouver to change flight crew. That meant an additional 2 hours of delay. Finally we accumulated 2 more hours of delay. The final total was 6 hours of delay for no clear reason."

The steward made me feel as though I was at fault because I should have payed the extra 100 to have emergency exit seating, they tried to get me to sit in the very back row of the plain and sit sideways across the two seats which means I would not be able to sit next to my fiancé. The whole thing was embarrassing and very rude, maybe people of 6'6" should be charged for emergency exit!!"

I am only 5'8" at 160 lbs and was extremely uncomfortable the entire trip. I may have had an extra inch of room from my knee to the chair in front of me. I couldn't stretch my legs out at all."

When I was able to stand in line and ask what was happening I was told they would rebook connections when we landed. The announcement finally came after everyone cleared the line. I've been flying 4-5 times a year for about 20 years and never had such bad communication."

For rebounding the next morning with no explanation. The next morning the flight was delayed an additional 3HOURS. We were never given food in all this time of a wait. This became an 18+ hour delay. We definitely missed our connection and they rebooked it."

Pros: "Half-hour flight, early to destination, which gave us plenty of time for our connecting flight."
Cons: "Why pay extra for baggage? This should be included in the ticket price -- which incidentally was not cheap!"

Cons: "I haven't made it there yet. Flight leaves 4PM Friday. Mechanical problems in Chicago so was put up in Hyatt and I am at the airport now waiting to fly out at 4PM today."

Cons: "Good tray in economy very small, didn't have my choice for food so stuck with chowmein, not good"

Cons: "flight was canceled due to mechanical problems on two of the airplanes"

Pros: "Boarding was uneventful, but I wish I could have gotten a gate check....I;m 76 and getting my bag above the seat is difficult. But the gate attendant said there was no gate check on that flight."
Cons: "I had a center seat and that is very uncomfortable for me."

Pros: "The crew were polite and helped to assist the passengers who has the same seats."
Cons: "The entertainment on board was limited, shoddy, and frankly disappointing. Why you are asking customers to download the United app instead of providing onboard entertainment like almost every other airline in the world is unknown to me. In comparison with other airlines (particularly airlines in Asia), it was downright egregious. The airlines top people obviously have no interest in providing any comfort for the those who are unwilling to pay the extra money. I do not understand why the airlines believes people should have to pay for their own meal on a 7 hour flight when they've already shelled out the money for the flight. In addition, why should I have to pay an extra $89 for a so-called premium aisle seat? It's completely inexplicable that the state of all airlines in America have fallen to this level."

Pros: "I took 4 different flights and all the crews seemed to all be moody."

Cons: "terrible food mediocre service no overnight snacks in a 15 hr long flight no personal entertainment system; with bad movies playing on a large screen making it impossible to get any rest poor drink service"

Pros: "Getting a seat in economy plus! (But I think that happened because I had trouble using the online seat booking process and couldn't get a seat assignment till I got to the gate for my Albany flight, probably the only seat available) also liked arriving early in Albany."
Cons: "Arriving at the end of terminal C and having to trek to the end of terminal B for my connecting flight. Supposedly a one hour window, but by the time I got off, and made that enormous trek, no time to get a meal. Going to Madison flights left from almost adjoining gates. Lovely!"

Pros: "Left on time and arrived on time. Flight attendant has a rock star!! Did her job above and beyond what I have seen in the past."

Cons: "It was delayed three hours. The space was cramped. The food were horrible. There were no individual tv screen or outlets to charge electronic devices."

Cons: "United airlines crew said that the plane had on board computer problems and then the crew said they couldn't fly because they were timed out on hours and we sat for 3 hrs in the plane only to here that they cancelled the flight and I had to scramble to find another flight to get to my destination"

Cons: "The fact that the tv is on constantly without the option to turn it off is annoying. The viewing length to passenger is too short to really enjoy (Probably not your fault). PLEASE permit us to turn it off."

Cons: "Get on it United, hot weather is not a good reason for a twelve hrs delay, hot temperatures didn't come last minute and this flight was not the only one flew out from the airport."

Pros: "Flight left on time crew friendly and attentive"
Cons: "Long flight could not get a diabetic meal !"

Cons: "Unable to depart due to pilot wanting windows washed. Created significant delay. Had to rebook flight for next day. Additional cost as a result. I will seek a refund which was due to the delay."

Pros: "The price, fact it was a direct flight"
Cons: "Both flights had mechanical problems, causing delays, the wait for luggage back in New York, over25 minutes"

Pros: "Got to check 2 carry on pieces for free because too many people had carry on bags. We had paid to check one bag and would have to pick it up anyway, so checking extra pieces was not a problem and actually was very much appreciated."
Cons: "15 minutes late in taking off because an airline associate failed to close out a screen on the computer. It took too long to figure out the problem."

Cons: "Seats were not comfortable, no individual tv screens"
