Flight itself was good. Nice flight attendants. Funny pilot.

The lady at desk to board the flight made me check my carry on. I had assumed it was because the plane was full, but when I got on the plane there were more than adequate spots to stow more bags. There was a compartment across from my seat that remained open the entire flight. While I completely understand the need to check extra luggage when the plane is full, I was very upset when I saw it was not. I intentionally fly with a carry on for the convenience, and to be inconvenienced for absolutely no reason made me not want to fly with this company again for fear it could happen again in the future.

Watching the door close as I approached the gate after I was told that the flight was waiting for me but apparently they didn't wait because they called final boarding as I exited my first flight. I was able to get another connecting flight that took of ten minutes after my arrival. I arrived at my final destination 4 hours after my initial planned time. Almost missed deployment and possible disciplinary actions due to the airline.

Nothing... Entire experience horrible for my 17 year old.

First class

Boarding was easy. clean plane, crew was very friendly. I was very concerned though, when we banked left and did a complete circle in the air. An explanation from the captain would have been terrific. I made sure I was the last one to leave the plane and asked him about it when I saw him at the exit. He told me what happened but I would have liked to know while it was happening. Besides that, the coke and pretzels were divine. :)

Arrived twenty minutes late. AA refused to accept responsibility for this and compensate me, even though my transportation had departed without me as a result of their tardiness.

Boarding was easy.

I'm disabled and in need of a wheelchair. The on flight crew was outstanding, but the guy 'helping' when I landed was the worst ever. Half way to baggage claim he said he was tired and had my 60 year old mother push me while he took the bags.

I will never accept the last row of seating EVER!!! I have a bruised knee and double sprained ankles and could not lean back. It was the most awful flight of my like. I could barely get out of the row. I sat in 39A. Horrible I tell you.

I arrived at my destination

AA changed my flight plans which resulted in a 4.5 hour layover in Philly. The gates were filthy, there is not much selection for in-flight food and nothing for entertainment. I couldn't even find an outlet that worked at the gate.

The gate agent helped half a dozen people (not including those described below) understand they were boarding with the wrong group.

Fully one-quarter of the passengers boarded as disability or premium. This included a party of eight that boarded with one person in a wheelchair because "We're all together."

People carry to many carry-on's and many times to large but the policy is not enforced.

Good crew on both legs of my flight. Airbus from LAX to Chicago was a bit tight, but Chicago to Norfolk was pretty comfortable (different plane). . The SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT thing about this.....and any other flight.....is leaving your place or origin and arriving at your destination SAFELY and without incident. For this, I'm always happy for an uneventful flight. Thanks United.

You DO have to have the United app to watch any entertainment. This is kind of a downer. If you have WiFi on a plane, why limit it to just ONE app? Standard snacks and drinks so nothing special there

Row 19 on a 737ER is great for room, as long as you don't plan on reclining (I rarely do in a daytime flight)

A little overcautious regarding seating the cabin crew because of possible turbulence, but better safe than sorry, I suppose. However, it is a common occurrence on this particular leg, so don't board knowing you might need to take a "break" before you get to Atlanta.

Well after going through a terrible storm to get to the airport we were given a opportunity to up grade to First Class for a very reasonable rate. That was great.
