Would not check ticket name vs profile name. Happened two consecutive flights. Flight tomorrow morning has no TSA Pre clearance on boarding pass. This will be three consecutive flights. Also seated me next to a person who needed 2 seats to himself. Please never seat me next to a passenger who cannot fit in their own seat. I am switching to SWA."

Cons: "The Entertainment sucked. Again I was sitting in comfort class which in theory should buy you more comfort and better entertainment. There was a ton of movies from the 90s and the same movie selection from about 6 months ago when I traveled with them. Also, what is going on, with having to use your own cell phone to watch movies on the plane? Whatever happened to the screens in the backseat of the front seat? I ended up with neck pain from trying to watch a movie on my phone. Delta has become very cheap. It is going into some serious decline."

Cons: "Let me just say that I’m a loyal Delta costumer until now. The flight attendants (the two women) were an absolute nightmare. They were so rude and condescending. I was carrying with me my service dog and a bag containing an expensive medication (it couldn’t go on the top bin). Despite being in the comfort class and having the seat next to me empty, we were tight for space. The flight attendants were unreasonable and forced me to put my medication on the top bin despite the fact I had told them it was extremely delicate, that it that to go upright, and that I needed to keep it with me. They did not listen and pressured me into giving them the medication. The medication could have easily gotten broken. Thankfully it didn’t but this is no way to treat a human being."

I got to the airport in Denver at 5:30 am for a 7:30 am flight to Atlanta, and the line to check a bag was about 40 people long. I waited 55minutes to check my bag, as they kept moving the ski priority people, and people in danger of missing their flight, to the head of the line. There were obviously not enough Delta workers on staff to process all the flights at that time."

Cons: "I was apparently "flagged" by British Airways for extra security checks. As I understood it in London, I was randomly selected for this security check. This then apparently meant that I was to be flagged for all subsequent flights. This meant that in Chicago, after going through two other security checks that day (Zurich and London) and completing customs, I had to engage in a full Homeland security check. This involved removing protective covers from my laptop and phone that were hard to get off (not meant to be taken off regularly) and a full body search that I did not have to do in London. After many hours of traveling, this was very a frustrating experience."

It is clearly an attempt to cheat out of their responsibility of home delivery of the luggage that was delayed the second time. Poor, poor service by American Airlines."
Cons: "It was not clear that I needed a different 6 letter code to checkin using the AA website. I finally got frustrated and called AA only to find out the code was different. The codes should have been the same or you should have referenced it on the website when I tried to check in"

Pros: "Our plane was late getting to the gate. They kept us informed and turned it around pretty quickly. There were storms between Chicago and Rochester so we were rerouted. As a result the hour flight was an hour and a half. The pilot kept us informed and it was a very smooth flight. So even though I was over an hour late arriving I so appreciated the communications and the safer route. AA seems to be communicating more than other airlines and I appreciate that. Flying is absolutely no fun anymore so you take what you can get for the positives."

Cons: "On my first flight from SLC to ORD I asked 3 different American Airlines employees if I needed to pay for my carryon before I got on the plane. They all said no. I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."

Cons: "newer touch screens were great except viewing angle couldn't be adjusted. standard food was horrible, esp for an international flight; not sure if specialty diets have better meals. kid movies were dubbed into many language options but Chinese was not one for ANY kid films. bathrooms with the same crappy mini sinks that you can't really wash your hands in, esp if someone pukes in it. they should all learn from Japan's ANA airliners with the motion sensor sinks with faucets raised up high enough for you to wash your hands without touching the gross basin."

Weather I can understand, but telling us we are waiting on a specific crew to arrive and then announcing that crew is not for our flight was just terrible communication. No one seemed apologetic. The only thing they did was bring a snack cart over for us, and that got raided by children so many people didn't get anything. We had arranged transport from Orlando to Tampa for that evening, and our rides had to cancel because instead of 7pm we were now arriving at 130am. Your airline's mistakes put everyone at an inconvenience and we weren't offered assistance to fix it. My husband went to ask for help in arranging new transport home, but he couldn't even get to the front of the line. The customer service was terrible. We really enjoyed our first leg of the flight home with American Airlines, but after the second leg and all of the problems we had... we will not fly with American Airlines in the future."

Also, the lost luggage assistant for American Airlines was super helpful and nice. Also, the 787 (I think that was the Chicago-Barcelona craft) was a very enjoyable airplane. It was super smooth. It had high tech windows that adjusted the amount or type of light that could filter through the windows depending on the settings."

Boarding counter lady was obnoxiously strict about not letting our carry-on bags to be carry-on. She made us test them in the size device and said they were too big, even though they could easy be pushed into the space, and regardless of the fact that we just flew on an American Airlines flight with them as carry-on and were only on a layover with them! Regarding the previous AA agent who let them be carry-on, she said "shame on them." Complete opposite of the positive experience we had with her counterpart in Phoenix. ಠ_ಠ"

I love the price; that the flights are direct & almost always on time; that the staff, from the flight attendants to ticket agents, all seem professional, helpful & friendly; and that the planes are clean and seats well cushioned & comfortable."
Cons: "I don't like that the seats don't lean back & that they are very close together with little leg/knee room. Altho the base price for the flights is cheap, they charge for "extras", including making your reservation by phone instead of online, printing out your boarding pass &choosing your seat. There's a fee for carry on's as well as regular size luggage. If you don't prepay for your luggage or if your luggage weighs more than 40 lbs, they charge $50, instead of $25. They not only charge for food, but also for water or any beverage. If you are prepared for a no frills flight & are willing to sit separately from your travel companions, etc. then this is a great way to save time (direct flights) and money. I will choose to fly with them again, even tho My husband & I prob. won't get to sit together. If you know what to expect & plan for it, it is a great way to save."

Cons: "The United mobile app as well as my emails stated that the gate was B3. Upon arriving at gate B3 and attempting to board, I was alerted that I was at the incorrect gate. The gate was switched to C11. However, my app did not alert me nore did it reflect the gate change. I didn't receive a text or email update. I had to run to the different concourse nearly missing the fling."

Cons: "From Gregory at the check in being rude and anything but welcoming, to seats in first class needing replaced, this was anything BUT a first class trip. This was my second time giving United a chance as I normally fly Delta. I don't think I'll make that mistake again. I understand a late night flight doesn't have a meal service, but snacks of chips and bananas is not my idea of how you should serve Firat Class passengers. I would have a hard time recommending anyone choose United as their airline. Time for an upgrade of not just the seats, but overall customer service."

Cons: "I went on this trip as an veterinary humanitarian out reach. I was also guardian to one high school student so that she might have an experience of such to guild her future. Her flight was missed booked to leave after mine, I attempted to rebook my flight with Luthansia but they would not let me me even partial rebook. I attempted a number of times to rebook the flight but their solution was extreme financial gain for them when more reasonable alternative could have been arranged. They canceled my entire return flight and left me stranded. I had to piece together a return flight on a shoe string budget. Thankfully American Airlines was understanding for it appears Luthansia and United are not."

Cons: "I had no issue with the delay, things happen. I was dealing with a knee injury and the gate plan had us all over the airport. It was quite frustrating to get to a gate in another terminal only to get told we were being moved back to the terminal we had just come from! Then that gate was changed again, involving another long walk on said bad knee!"

Cons: "Due to my initial delayed flight I got to O'Hare during a drastically busy time. Due to the amount of people, noise, and dishevelment my PTSD became aggravated and I found myself having an attack. I chose the initial early flight to ensure this would not happen. I am aware of what causes my PTSD to become aggravated and I take that into consideration when I make all plans."

Upon arrival to the airport, bag drop was a mess of people and I was charged $15 additional to switch from pre-paid checked bag to carry on. Then the flight was delayed another 2.5 hours and there was no update as to cause or anticipated time of departure. I will do all I can to not fly Fontier in the future."
Cons: "I was a passenger on a Frontier flight from DIA to TMA on 5/13/2018. My luggage was checked and a tag indicating the bag was to go all the way to the final destination (there was a stop in St. Paul, Minnesota) was securely placed on the suitcase. However when I arrived at the Trenton airport my bag did not. There were no Frontier airlines agents on duty so I filled out a form given to me by one of the airport staff. When I checked the Frontier website today it said to fill out a Frontier Lost and Found report. Upon doing so I received an email saying finding a lost bag could take weeks and that after a month they consider the bag permanently lost. No offer or process was provided for compensation for lost bag or the items within. This is unacceptable! I had prescription medication in my bag that's not easily refilled."

Once we finally got ready to takeoff, we had to pull in yet again because there were passengers on the plan that weren't scheduled to go to Detroit.. all of these problems are somewhat understandable, but the crew FAILED TO EMPATHIZE WITH US AT ALL. They even made smart remarks about people going to the bathroom when we pulled back in... I feel some of them acted extremely unprofessional and I truly never want to fly with this company again."

Cons: "When you have to check in to get a lower baggage fee than if you check in at the ticket counter is totally unfair and a very poor business practice. If a friend hadn't told me that I needed to check in online, I would have preferred to check in at the counter. Not knowing what baggage prior to packing, I needed to change my carry-on to a checked bag. So I looked on the Internet for a customer service telephone number, which I found, but it's the wrong number.... Very frustrating!!!! At that point, I wished that I didn't book my flight with Frontier Airlines. Then I had to pay extra money to choose a seat, pay $2.00 for a drink . I definitely know that your customer service is bare bones, and the low price for a flight comes with annoying high price to pay. I will certainly think twice before flying with Frontier Airlines again."

Cons: "The seats are very thin and feel like school bus seats, so it was a pretty uncomfortable couple of hours. Also, the check in at the kiosk is confusing and misleading. We were very prepared and did everything ahead of time (paid for our checked bag, knew that we'd have to pay for a cary on bag, etc.) but then when we checked in it asked us if we had a checked bag we needed to pay for. We doubted ourselves for a moment and almost paid for our bag, AGAIN, even though we had already done it. This payment should have shown up on our account and we should not have been asked about paying for our bag, that is confusing and misleading."

Pros: "check in crew were very pleasant and helpful, making the check in process very smooth despite multiple people, skis,etc. You are getting nickeled-and died- but I planned for that in advance, and despite that it was still a value compared to other airlines."
Cons: "seats are uncomfortable. If flights get cancelled (mine were not!), you are screwed because Frontier does not partner with other "sister" airlines, so you will have to wait a long time for a rescheduled flight or change airlines on your own dime"

Cons: "the aft steward was a power-hungry tyrant. He kept telling me to get into my seat which was occupied. When that could not be resolved, he told me to get out of the aisle so others could board. I was in the penultimate row and the people in my row needed to move to the last row. So who was I blocking from boarding? Also, the flight was extremely turbulent and not one seat in the last 4 rows had barf bags. As I deplaned, it looked as if 10-12 others did not have them either - - good luck cleaning that plane. The seats are sized for 5-yr olds. And lastly - you stick it to passengers with all the non-disclosed fees."

We had to pay for a soda. Only water is complimentry. We had to pay for the very uncomfortable seats we sat in. Really...what was the plane ticket for? By the way, if you wait to choose your seat/and check your bags...the price goes up. In the end it would have been cheaper to fly any other airlines. I'd never fly frontier again."

Cons: "All of the self check-in kiosks were down. Only two people were working the desks. The check-in line was out the door and it took hours to see a representative. Then, the barcode Frontier provided on the boarding pass did not scan with the TSA. I was denied access to screening and sent back up to Frontier's desks. If it wasn't for the generosity of several people in the line, I would have had to wait another several hours before seeing an agent. The inexpensive ticket is not worth it, especially considering one must pay for a carry on. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had flying."

Then told by customer service they could not refund fees even though they would not provide the service. Oh...and they wanted $99 to book on the next flight. Even though the flight they wanted to book me on left the next night!"
Pros: "Check in and the security screen took an hour and a half, flight delayed an hour in beautiful weather. NO TSA Pre-Check at Frontier's home base."
Pros: "The fare from Denver to Portland Oregon was $83.00"
Cons: "The website didn't seem user friendly to me. I had to call Customer Service to be able to check in. I wasn't able to get my boarding pass on my smartphone very easily. My suitcase was 15 lbs over and I had to pay $75.00 on top of the initial $25.00. There were no complimentary drinks. And the flight was delayed and the personnel didn't know what was going on and wasn't able to inform us. The online seat assignment was confusing to figure out."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for over 4 hours due to operational issues (not weather or maintenance). The gate representative didn't keep us informed of the issues and when he did, he was usually wrong. There is a surcharge for everything from carry-on fees to beverages on the plane. The plane itself was uncomfortable with uncushioned seats. Let's just say that if I had to choose between a Frontier flight and a Delta flight that was $400 more, I will choose the Delta. Same goes with any competitor. I will never fly Frontier again."

I am in a city in which I do not live, with absolutely no clothes, toiletries, shoes etc and I have been on hold waiting to talk to someone about my missing bag for over 45 minutes. Frontier has absolutely no idea where my bag is, it is not in the place that I took off from and definitely not at my destination. This has been an absolute nightmare in which they offer you pathetic $50 to make up for the over $3500 I have in missing belongings."

Carry-on fees are also ridiculous; it would be much better to be transparent and incorporate these costs into the ticket price. Food/drink - you offer no complimentary food or snack and when you buy something, there is a screen to add a tip - seriously?"

Cons: "Charging $40 per carry on? Are you kidding me?? We didn't budget for that and almost had to fly with no luggage. For this reason alone we are never taking another flight from Frontier. It's bad enough that Frontier charges for all baggage, but we had no idea when we bought the tickets off Kayak, that it would be an extra $130 for luggage. What a rip off. Then at the airport, the line to get a baggage ticket wasn't that long, but it took almost 45 minutes. Every time we fly Southwest or Delta, it takes only 10 minutes to get our baggage tagged and on our way to security. I was also unpleasantly surprised that even water costs $2. Other airlines give a free drink, but Frontier charges $2. Terrible. And the seats don't recline. In summary for areas to improve: don't charge me for carry on and don't charge me for water. I will also be looking for another online venue to buy my next tickets, we thought we were going to get a great deal (round trip tickets for two people for around $680) but instead will end up paying in the neighborhood of $885. Kayak let us down big time."

Cons: "The attendant woke me up after finally finding a position slumped over the tray (read above, no reclining seats) to ask about trash because we had a water bottle he was worried about us leaving. Very rude. Plus, as we saw a youngster dropping zip bags on the ground and that family wasn'tbeing eye balled by the staff. I wanted my overhead bad that I paid extra for, over my seat or a little in front of us so we didn't have to wait for the entire plane to empty before we could get it and the same attendant tried to push out back and was argumentative about it. He was one of the worst attendants in my experience."
Cons: "The seats could have used those adjustable/folding headrests (with "wings" that prevent your head from lolling onto someone else's shoulder). With that, the experience of trying to sleep on the flight would have been 10x better!"
Pros: "They held the plane an extra 15 to 20 minutes so that I could run through the entire Denver airport to make this flight due to my initial flight coming in to Denver, we sat on the runway for over an hour once we landed"
Pros: "Seats were comfortable and I arrived safely. Grateful for these aspects of my trip."
Cons: "Employees were rude. Inaccurate information about flight times provided before and during the flight. The hidden fees were ridiculous, such as $1.99 for seltzer water. Note that you cannot pay in cash for anything. Not so unusual, but a pain for since my debit card was lost. Because flight times were inaccurate, I had no time to buy food during my layover and wasn't able to purchase food on the flight. Overall, I would NOT choose to fly Frontier Airlines again unless absolutely necessary."

Cons: "The PA system on this one week old plane was way too loud. The long sales pitch for the Frontier credit card with 40,000 bonus miles was so loud that people were putting fingers in their ears. Otherwise excellent flight."
Cons: "Flight 33 minutes late leaving. Did not realize Frontier now charges for everything. My mistake but realized I could have flown on American for same price after all extras added to ticket by Frontiet. Not likely to ever fly on Frontier again."
Cons: "They charge for water. WATER. They charge for a carry on. The plane felt like it was going to fall apart. After an hour of turbulence, I started to feel sick but thankfully didn't have to throw up because there were no vomit bags. If you need a really cheap flight and are only bringing a purse, it would be a decent. But be prepared for rude people, discomfort, and turbulence. A misleading, unprofessional company."
Cons: "A 40 minute layover turned into a 5 hour layover in Denver. Frontier did not reimburse for the inconvenience, and sent a inadequate $50.00 coupon towards my next Frontier flight IF USED WITHIN 90 DAYS!! That was an insult, not a good faith gesture. They nickel and dime for everything, and take poor accountability for their errors."
Pros: "The pilot talked us through the turbulence and gave adequate and great information. The crew was polite and nice."
Cons: "Overall the food options didn't include an actual meal. That wasn't the specific flight's fault- more of an overall problem."
