Cons: "There was an issue that was beyond the control of the ground staff (the ladies and gentlemen at the check-in counter) that resulted in a three hour delay. I think they could have been a little more forthcoming about the whole situation instead of just saying “we’re working on it, safety is our number one concern at Alaska Airlines.” They however give us a voucher for $75 credit toward our next flight with Alaska Airlines, and that notification came through before we had even disembarked at our destination. I appreciate their understanding and willingness to try to make an undesirable situation better. I would fly Alaska Airlines again."

Cons: "We ordered our meals online and they didn’t have them when we were asked about meal. All they had was butternut squash and we ordered the chicken meal. Also the amount of people from coach that use the restroom and make it hard for us to use is out of control. Then if I’m paying a premium price for travel I would expect the seats to not be 29 years old and so uncomfortable that I could barely walk when I got off plane. Please upgrade your seats to reflect the prices you demand."

The report must be filled out and sent to Seattle for review. We were told by the air crew this would take a few more minutes. It took over almost an hour and a half. Screaming babies and a FULL plane. We finally changed planes to the other end of the Terminal. I got no sleep and missed a very special Labor Day Holiday with my daughter because I am sleeping now. I dont understand how your own ground crew can damage your plane and it take so long for you to decide to change planes AFTER BOARDING A FULL PLANE!?!?"

No on board movies. Couldn’t even connect with my own iPad or iPhone. Can’t believe there are airplanes without screens on the back of seats. Just an okay flight."

Pros: "This is our main airline, but it was our first time using them to get to an airport to catch an different airline for a transatlantic flight. Time was going to be tight between connections. Because we were flying with their partner airline Icelandic air they were able to check us and our baggage through to the final destination. There were some weather delayed and I am fully convinced we would have missed our connecting flight."

We were in First Class, and it was worth every penny with Sandee In our section. He neither said yes nor no, but rather completely ignored what I said and just poured my drink and moved on. I was a mildly annoyed, but figured maybe it was policy and he was shy and didn't want to debate the matter. When he took care of the older couple behind us, however, things got really strange. He asked them whether they wanted pretzels or peanuts, but they misheard him and asked for a ginger ale. I happened to know that he did have ginger ale, since my wife had just gotten one, but rather than just pouring the old folks a drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" They misheard again and asked him whether he had a diet ginger ale. Again, rather than just pour them the drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" This went round and round a few more times -- like a poorly designed computer UI that refuses to accept anything except the correct input -- before the old couple finally figured out the disconnect and picked their snacks before their drinks. Very weird."

Cons: "I am a 5'3" 125# woman who, unfortunately, had a middle seat assignment. The passenger to my right, on the aisle, weighed approximately 375# and took up 1/3 of my seat. The arm was not able to go down comfortably, and when it did it was not usable . The passenger on my left, window seat, was probably 6'7" and had to sit with a man spread in order to fit. I could not move and was extremely uncomfortable. The plane was overbooked so I was unable to move. Therefore, worst flight ever. Plus, I paid for a full seat and was only able to occupy half of it."

Boarding went fine, the plane was clean, and the crew was very friendly. Seats were a bit cramped, but that seems to be typical on all airlines anymore. Cookies and pretzels were offered as were beverages - the usual. I’d fly American again.

Literally watched a guy sleep nearly the entire flight with his mask off and the FA walked by him multiple times without saying anything. Will never fly with American after their abysmal attempt to keep us safe. I did not feel safe for a second on that horrendous flight. Definitely getting a COVID test and I will know where I got it from if I test positive. Also the seats are uncomfortable and it was a very bumpy flight (I understand that part cannot be avoided). I don’t understand how you cancel flights and bump people to other flights only for them to be SUPER packed. I thought at the rate of cases rising airlines should be doing a better job at taking safety precautions. Not American. Why do they think it’s a safe idea at this time to have my wife and I packed in with a total stranger for four hours? No social distancing whatsoever! Overall I cannot say a single good thing about this flight. Worst in my entire life"
Pros: "The flights seemed to go fast once we were in the air and it was nice the pilot was trying to get us there earlier because we had taken off late."
Cons: "I upgraded to 1st class for both flights but the plane seating was very dismal and hadn't been upgraded in either of these planes for a long time. After we boarded the plane we were told that no drink, snacks or food would be offered. The attendant shut off the lights as soon as we got in the air and kept it dark in the cabin until 10 minutes before we landed. She never came around to check on us once or ask if we needed anything. I was so thirsty when we landed. I have decided that I will either go back to United Airlines or check out the 1st class options at American Airlines better next time. This might not have been their fault, I'm not sure what it was, but the flight was late landing and we took off an hour late as well which really put me behind schedule."
Cons: "They claim to be cleaning these planes but I find that hard to believe when there is Gum on the window sill. We were also delayed quite a bit in the boarding process. Also I would imagine that during Covid-19 these companies would do a better job of not overbooking flights but all of my flights with American this past weekend were overbooked. Which delayed us even longer as they searched for volunteers to adjust their flights. In today's age of technology the idea that they are still overbooking planes makes no sense to me in the slightest. I will be walking, driving or taking a boat before I fly American Airlines again."
Pros: "We were so delayed due to a broken Air conditioner.we were told we had to get an new plane. The walk and ride took us to a new terminal where we walked and walked and I am 78 and hard to keep up. Then we were off and a nice flight and we made up a bit of time. Upon arrival in Aspen and there was not gate for us so we had to wait 25 minutes to deplane, The staff and pilots were terrific and tried to make the best of it. At least we got there. Snacks and water would have been nice with all the waiting we did....Linda Decatur"

Cons: "Flight was delayed due to weather. That is understandable. However the crew was not helpful in sharing any information with customers about changes to connecting flights. Much time was wasted and I had to reschedule my flight. The staff members that booked my hotel and my new flight were short and brief and not very helpful or accommodating or informative. Overall I didn’t not feel like a welcomed guest and I do not feel enough compensation was offered for such an inconvenience. Not being able to have my bag overnight was a hassle. I had no clean clothes and had to throw out my contacts because I had no solution. I also couldn’t use the meal voucher they gave me because everywhere in the airport was closed by that time. No stipend was given for toiletries or food delivery. Very unimpressed."
Cons: "The flight was 2 hours delayed because there was a mechanical issue on the plane. We sat and waited on the plane for 1 hour while the Maintenance crew tried fixing the problem. After sitting there for one hour, they told us the problem wasn’t fixed and we have to change aircrafts. The other aircraft was all the way in terminal D (we were in terminal A) and the boarding process took a long time. Overall it was an awful flight and experience with American Airlines. I missed my mother’s birthday party because of the 2 hour delay."
Cons: "The plane was cold. The entertainment was mediocure. The staff was telling the people to get in their seats quickly as they had missed their scheduled time for take off. Yet, they 1st said we would board a little late because og clearing out the previous flight. And, no one could get carry-ons above their own seats and had to go back to then come forward. The attendants should monitor better what is brought onboard. I thought they were rude. And it took almost an hr to get our luggage at the carosel."
Cons: "Never got on the flight!! This was a Christmas gift & they took the money when booked it and told me they needed credit card verification 2hrs before departure! Terms and conditions doesn’t say I needed the credit card when checking-in! They also NEVER notified us that I was needing that information! The person who booked my flight is overseas!!! They are the worst at customer service. Still waiting to hear back from them! It’s the holidays and they are absolutely careless! I must add that when checking-in the agent was rude, unprofessional and even mocked me! ridiculous!"

Cons: "I had very bad emotions sickness from London to Dallas TX. After I got on the plane I asked one crew member if I have any chance to switch the seat to sit by the bathroom because I am very sick, but seems no one cares. They said there is nothing they can do and tell me to get back to my seat. The whole fight I was sick. It was a horrible no crews member were asked me how I felt. No crews member checked me if I were ok. I had fever and so sick. There were late. I never have any bad fight like this forever."
Pros: "Boarding from Dallas was very good but when landed in London there was no service provided to me as I requested. I asked for wheelchair and help claiming my luggage due to health problem but when I asked at the airplan gate if some body will help me the answer was wait over there with a rude way and ended by walking to the passport area and claiming my bags by my self, my bags was not there and I was going back and forth to follow directions been given to find my luggage. I was very exhausted and tired and asked people around me for help."
Cons: "There was no help at all especially from the British airway. Unlikely there was very rude answer by telling me if you need help you can hire somebody to help you at claiming bags area. This answer was not expected at all and I was very disoppointed as I made a request to have a wheelchair from London. This request was ignored in London. I was very tired and placed my self to a risk of injury because I hade recent surgery to my right shoulder. As a British air way and this was my first experience I will think carefully next time to use this service again. One of my luggage was damaged and this bag was new and this was my first time to use it they told me at customer service this just a scratch and there is no liability for this kind of damage. hopefully some body can investigate this and do something"

Cons: "Wihout question, the most uncomfortable seat ive ever been in. It was obviously a newer plane, long haul flight, and thw configuration maximized space for more passengers. Width of economy seat was tightest I've ever experienced, with the arms of the seats literally right at my legs, nearlt digging in. The leg room was very short with my knees nearly touching the back of the seat in front of me. When i put my tray down, it actually rested on my knees, and was not level because it pitched up due to longer legs (and I'm only 5'9). This was a long haul, 8 hour flight. I've never beeñ so uncomfortable on a flight in my life, and have never counted the minutes I could get out. Seemed obvuous that meal service had taken a hit when corporate looked for places to cut expenses, its one of the lower quality meals. If compared with an international carrier, the food was really sub par. Mostly really friendly crew members, unfortunately, one who really didnt seem to enjoy the job any longer."
Cons: "There was a delay from Charlotte to Dallas but not too much so it was fine. Once we arrived in Dallas, however, it took an absorbent amount of time for the crew to open the door. On top of that, the skyline in Dallas was broken down and it caused me to miss my flight completely. I’m a student so I don’t have much money so I had to “sleep” in the airport because I couldn’t get a hotel voucher due to the fact that I missed my flight due to the airport and not the airline itself. My next flight is tomorrow morning but now takes away time from an incredibly busy and tight schedule that I was on. Not happy at all with the Dallas airport."

More and more friends, family & 1 flight expert says AA gets more complaints. Will try booking with another airline carrier in future unless absolute emergency to take AA. Worth $40.00 or more extra to get friendly service."
Pros: "The crew were polite, accommodating and understanding"
Cons: "The gate was changed 1hr prior to boarding despite the arriving plane having landed 3hrs prior. So with stroller and infant in toe, I had to run to change terminals/buildings. There was no assistance or prior warning regarding this from the check in staff and I made it all the way to the original terminal and gate before having to turn around. The desk staff at the gate was asked about early boarding for infants and said it would be okay but didn’t give clear instructions on boarding so I sat down and they began boarding each group 20 minutes later and did not give priority to mother’s with infants. The stroller which I brought to the gate was then tagged incorrectly with a white tag instead of a pink tag. I was later told by he crew that it meant it would go directly to baggage claim instead of being brought to the door. According to the crew, all staff know to tag with a pink tag. At every step there was blatant display of inconsideration that made an already difficulty journey, that much more challenging."

Cons: "AA has nine boarding groups, which queue up in two lanes. Each of the two lanes hold about 5 people, at most. This is ridiculous. It creates enormous crowds of people jockeying to be near the tiny lanes for when their number is called 5 or 10 minutes down the line. AA needs to reduce the number of boarding groups, lengthen the lanes, and provide more of them. No other airline boards this way. That's because this boarding method is stupid. Unsurprisingly, our plane took off late because they couldn't get everyone boarded in time."

Cons: "the drink service came through pretty late in the flight. i asked for hot tea. a few minutes later i was provided with extremely hot tea. about 10 minutes later it was a temperature i could tolerate drinking. about 1/3 through the drink i was required to throw away my drink because we were preparing for landing. i understand that, fine. bad timing. it’s just a drink. what was unsatisfactory is that the attendant rudely commented “you have to give us your drink. it’s not that long of a flight.” the comment made me feel like i had done something wrong even though i had just been drinking my tea as soon as it was at a drinkable temperature. i was not impressed with the attendant. also, there weren’t any biscotti cookies."
Cons: "AA claimed the overhead storage was full and took my carry-on. Except I walked by at least 15 spots that easily would have fit my bag. They made us pay $50 to check-in luggage, but then didn't bother to put the bags on our flight. They also tried to charge us twice for the privilege of checking bags. They had no flights that would get us home on the same day, then claimed that since 12 hours had elapsed, we had to repay to check bags. During the flight, they had non stop commercials for their credit card. Ugh"
Cons: "My flight IB 4190 from DFW to Paris on 11/11/17 @ 17:55 was operated by American Airline. I was denied to pay for my second check in bag for the simple reason that I didn't buy my ticket with American Airline!! According to American Airline agent (Danielle) at the counter, a ticket purchased with Iberia only allow 1 check bag for free and you are not allow to check in an additional bag. I called the travelling agency and Iberia customer service agent (Jose) while I was at the airport. They both told me that I should go with the luggage rule of American Airline which allow passenger to pay for a second bag. Danielle refused to talk to both agents I called. I need someone to tell me how my luggage can be send to me to Paris please. I had a very bad experience with this trip. Please help clarify the discrepancy!"
Pros: "Once I got onto the plane, it was fine. It was a short flight. Everyone was nice and they offered drinks and a small snack."
Cons: "I was late to my first flight from Dallas to LR due to my flight from Spain coming in late. I got off the plane and there was also another connecting flight printed for me. I thought "wow that is amazing sevice! I am def going to brag on them." I should have done it myself... after a 30 hour traveling day.. I got to the counter to get on my second scheduled flight home, and it wouldn't let me on because something with my Rickey was not working on the computer. The person did not know how to fix it so I missed the flight. After calling a supervisor, and that said supervisor never showing up, someone else finally happened to walk by and helped the original person fix the problem. Finally after waiting 5 hours total, I was on my flight home. The first flight was amazing but this flight makes me question if I want to ever use American Airlines in the future."
Cons: "I've flown a lot, and I really couldn't believe how rude the flight attendants were on this flight. They seemed very inconvenienced by their job. I gave a snack pack back to a FA bc of my allergies and she snatched it out of my hand while walking by me without even looking at me...my husband's jaw dropped, he saw it too. It was unbelievable how rude they were."
Pros: "Entertainment was great. I really liked the touch screens on the chairbacks. Food was fine for airplane food. It came more than I expected. Get sandwiches over the meals, they are better quality. A vegetarian guy had a hard time but the crew tried to help him out. Comfort was ok for a 13 hour trip. The chairs are not really the best and my back hurt after a while. Make sure you stretch! Crew was nice except for one lady. But she wasent rude just... non responsive. Other members were fantastic though. Boarding was very painless."

So I quickly say we do not need 3 people to tell us 1 thing and especially yelling at us like we were kids or criminals because it felt like we must have broke the law the way they treated us! That experience was horrible and ruined my liking for AA"
Pros: "The guy in the middle seat left and never came back. Smooth flight. Good crew. Got both pretzels and cookies, as well as 2 cups of ice, with no problem."
Cons: "Entertainment system had some quirks. I choose my flights in an attempt to make sure I can watch a movie during the flight, so that's important to me. This one stopped once in the middle of the movie, but worked one I started it again. Didn't have buttons for fast forward or rewind, so had to guess on the timeline when I wanted to see something I missed. Then the flight map kept resetting to a mode other than what I wanted. I know these are first world problems, and they in no way affected the safety of the flight, but I expect more."
Cons: "Flight into DFW was delayed over an hour and ended up missing connection from DFW to SMF by less than 10 minutes because connecting flight left the gate early! We had 5 people in our group, including 3 children under the age of 10. Instead of taking off on time or just a couple minutes late (and oh by the way, the flight to SMF was scheduled to land early because of favorable winds) the flight left the gate early while we were sprinting from gate C31 to A17, missing the door closing by minutes and stranding our party for a three hour wait for an aircraft that went to SFO instead (75 miles away from Sacramento). As the coup de gras, our luggage didn't make it on the plane to SFO so now it's sitting in Sacramento awaiting delivery. I know there were a lot of upset people with the weather delays yesterday, but a bit of foresight or accommodation by American or a particularly savvy gate agent could have prevented the 5 of us from being among them."

My original flight to dallas was delayed from 12:56 to 8pm which would of landed me in dallas at 2:21am but the club Fat Rabbit closes at 2am Which in fact was a 1300 (US dollar) loss. I re booked my ticket to Austin from Vancouver this morning because the only reason to go dallas was my job. Was supposed to fly in have dinner play music get back on the plane n go Austin but going to dallas was irrelevant and a 7 hour delay was absolutely ridiculous."

Cons: "The airplane was outdated. It did not have personal entertainment suites at each seat. I haven't flown across the ocean without being able to choose my own movie in 3 years. Also, because of the outdated entertainment suite, the headphone jack is located in the armrest to the side instead of in the seat back in front of you. This caused me to bend my 3.5mm headphone connection at one point while I was moving my leg, because the connection jack is located below thigh level. The temperature was unbearable, and could not be controlled by the flight crew. Dressed for winter weather and roasted for the entire flight. I actually was dehydrated when we landed because I was sweating for 7 hours crossing the ocean."
Pros: "I was in a seat in coach that was appalling. (28C?), one row behind the exit row seating. I am only 5' 8" but could not cross my legs. The guy to my left was KNITTING, so was constantly jogging my arm which I carefully had kept inside the armrest on my side. I will avoid flying in a BA 747 in future. Even Business is awful on those jets. I flew in Business once, and thought the head to tail layout was the worst I have experienced. I pulled down the joint divider and thought the person in the next bed was dead, he was lying there with his arms crossed over his chest! It's time to update the 747's or retire them."

They said that the TV issue that *some* of the people were experiencing wasn't able to be fixed by them and only by the company that provides it's service. So there wasn't anything that could be done. I know that at least the two guys that were traveling next to me had issues with the tv monitors as well. It was just driving it home that I will never fly on American Airlines again. I don't ask for much these days while flying, it's not like it's a luxury anymore. Cons: "Flight was pushed out at least 5 times before departing. Once we even boarded and were told to get off the plane after the delay became too long, "for security purposes." The pilot was completely unprofessional - he tried to make light of the situation. At first it was funny but the jokes soon got old. There was little attempt to to update as the delay kept getting longer and longer. We learned more about the delay from our phone apps than from the crew. Most idiotic and incompetent group I've ever flown with."
Cons: "It took so long for me to leave this airport. I got there around 11:30pm and my flight wasn't till around 9:45am the next day and so when it came to that time they had cancelled my flight so I got another ticked for around 2pm and they didn't board that flight till around 4:30. My experience there was to much to handle. I was supposed to get to Colorado Friday night but didn't even get here time Saturday afternoon. Really upsetted me because I leave wednsday so I don't have enough time to be with my boyfriend. I honestly don't think I'll be flying American Airlines again"

Cons: "The seats are so very narrow that having extra legroom doesn't really matter - only a child or a very, very thin person will find these seats anywhere near adequate. Food (which went flying or falling into my lap as I tried to eat without elbowing my neighbor) was laughably bad, even the crew said they were embarrassed to be serving it. On that note, the crew did not seem happy with the airline, and agreed that economy on the 788 is one of the worst cabins they fly. Entertainment options were good, but when the person in front of you reclines, so does the screen, so if you want to stay more upright you can't really see the screen well. By far one of the worst economy experiences I have ever had. I will go out of my way to chose alternate routes in the future, even going via MIA to avoid the 788."

Cons: "The flight was originally scheduled to take off at 8:20 pm, but due to several delays did not end up getting off the ground until after 11 pm. After being in the air for about 45 minutes we were informed that there were issues with the engine and that we would be turning around and heading back to Dallas. By this point it was after midnight, and although I was appreciative that safely is a priority, there was no communication as to what the next steps were. After landing we were finally told that we would have to deplane, and after we sat around the gate for awhile we were informed that the flight would be delayed until 5 am. Being 12:50 am at this point a hotel would have been nice, but we were informed that AA was "out of hotels" but that if we wanted we could have a $12 food voucher to use at the one restaurant that was open several terminals over. The AA employee assisting in handing out the food vouchers seemed extremely unapologetic about the situation which didn't help with the frustration everyone was feeling. I will not be booking with AA again, and will be passing along my negative experience to family and friends. It is worth spending the extra money on a ticket for an airline that is more reliable with better customer service."

Cons: "We waited 6 hours at the airport. American Airlines kept changing our gate number from gate a17 to gat a39 to gate a9. Then at midnight we received the noticed they cancelled the flight but before we received that the attendance at the counter all left. The display above gave us a number to call or we could go wait in a line with over 100 other people we started to for about 1hour and was on hold on the phone at the same time as we watch customer relation people leave while the line got bigger. Soon there were only 4 people with a long line. We left after 1 hour but stayed on hold on the phone. After over a hour we finally got through on the phone. The next fight isn't till sat even, we were leaving Thursday so we said we needed to cancel our flight. Instead of them doing the cancelling and refunding our money we now need to login after 24 hours with or tickets an request a refund. The fun doesn't stop with American Airlinees. We have flown them in the past for years and their service has gone down terribly since the take over."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 4 hours. The person in the counter would not tell us what's going on. They would say in 10 minutes the flight is leaving. That way we were 4 hours waiting. Nonetheless, we were waiting in the gate and the personal change the flight information for another flight and no body told us why. When we went to see in the big screens with all the flights. which was the new gate for the flight it kept saying the same gate. When I went to ask what's going on the person in the counter was very rude."
Pros: "As I was sitting there waiting to board the plane I started to have anxiety. Watching how many people lined up to get on the plane made me a little nervous. I even thought about renting a car and driving from Dallas to OC California. I waited until i was almost the last person to board. What a pleasant surprise. I was seated between 2 lovely people who probably could have but didn't hardly talk the entire flight. The conversations we did have were pleasant, and they slept some of the time without snoring. It was a very nice flight home! And I'm thankful I didn't rent a car. Flying is much quicker!"

The flight was delayed a total of 5 times for a total delay of about 4 hours. The original scheduled flight was for 6:35 pm and we didn't actually leave the ground until almost 10:30. We kept getting pushed back. I am not certain if it was due to weather (in another area) or required flight crew rest, both of which I would understand. There was no reason posted that I saw. I have a 10 yo son who has Autism and should be in bed no later than 10 pm, preferably 9 pm. I appreciate all that Allegiant does for the military, and therefore, will continue to fly on your airline. I will NOT, however, take any more evening flights as most of the ones I've flown on have either been delayed or altogether cancelled. Again, I truly appreciate your recognition of retired and active duty military. 8/10 is a B and can be improved upon with more clarevoyance and keeping on-time flights."

Cons: "It was myself, my wife, and our 18 month old son. The trip was a complete disaster. The first delay was from 12 noon to 7:30 pm because the plane was unavailable. We left the airport and returned at 6 pm for the 7:30 pm departure. The plane was "available." We checked our bags, found our way to the gate, and eventually boarded "ontime." Instead of taking off, however, we sat on board the plane at the gate for 2 hours as work was being done. The work was first called "maintenance," then "a small error code." The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!"

Since we were traveling with only a carry on, it was a good price after all the "frills" were added (pay for carry on, pay to select seat). we still had a price lower than any other airline. So all in all, once we got on the plane it was a pleasant experience."

We taxied back to our gate and waited for LA Fire for. to escort the ill lady off and clean the area. While waiting to taxi out the second time the flight attended, Tyeesha, was very rude to an elderly gent. He was seated in an exit row and she didn't think him capable. The lady on the aisle of my row volunteered to switch and Tyeesha' s response was a sharp, "Do you want to pay the higher price too?" When the lady next to me said she would gladly pay Tyeesha announced loudly that this discussion was between the two of them and everyone else needed to mind their own business. The lady offering to switch was really embarrassed, as was the elderly gent. Someone else was made to switch with him. They looked disgruntled too. In the air all the flight attendants were sharp and very direct. There were no please or thank you's used. Trash was collected silently and mostly with pointing. The armrest to my left had five flavors of chewed gum stuck to the side of it. My lap tray had grey and yellow sticky stuff on it and I chose to hold my food rather than let the two touch. The floors were untidy. The only reason I will ever fly Allegiant again is if I have no other options. It is 60 minutes closer to my house than SLC and I will be making the drive from now on."

Arrived at the airport 2 hours early per their instructions to find the flight was delayed. Thirty minutes later they cancelled the flight and then provided no information concerning the new flight the following day."

Cons: "A couple times staff was a bit inattentive. The elder lady in my row spilled her drink all over - on the tray and her lap. I had to ask 3x to get a napkin or something to help her clean it up. After the 3rd time she responded she was getting something but it was after she talked to someone and got a bottle of water for herself. It was unfortunate but overall I found your crew very nice and helpful."
Pros: "Base price and airport convenience."
Cons: "Add on pricing for booking the reservation, selecting a seat and any other possible need. "Required" arrival two hours prior to flight, but check in desk not available. Seats were thin and too narrow for most every body type."

The worst was the HORRIBLE TINY ECON SEATS!!! Unless you are a child or a small woman/man, I would avoid this flight if at all possible. I have never been so uncomfortable on a flight, and I fly a dozen times a year for the last 25 years."

Cons: "Kayak sent me a message that our connecting flight out of O'Hare was boarding at gate B5. However, checking the monitors in the terminal showed the correct gate was B21, which is on the opposite end of the terminal. I don't know why Kayak had the wrong information on this. We barely made our connecting flight because our starting flight was over 30 minutes late, which was United's fault. This made rushing to the correct gate for our connecting flight all the more stressful. No time to stop at the bathrooms or pick up something to eat. Both United and Kayak let me down on getting back to Hartford. We arrived at the end of boarding with no room left for our bags in the overheads so we had to check them and pick them up at the carousel. A totally BAD flight experience."

Pros: "My trip started off with airplane problems from the beginning. From my flight being delayed multiple times by air china to the overly packed united to the confusion of the non updated confirmation numbers or the e-ticket number. Even on the day I left upon arriving to the airport my confirmation number they had just given me after all the prior problems still didn't work. Air china had mediocre food with okay entertainment except my headset jack on the TV was broke and I couldn't watch anything. On the last air china flight from Bejing to Bangkok. I couldn't even charge my phone, watch any entertainment and basically was just stuck with no WiFi. Justfly wouldn't compensate for the changes on their end and said I myself would have to ask the airlines for compensation which the.the airlines directed me no where for compensation or even to upgrade my seat. Now I'm finally in Thailand but I'm scared of my return."

Cons: "Pilot admitted error. They did not even know what was going on. 3 hours late due to last min maintenance after the plane had been on the ground since last night. No supervisor came even though we asked the captain to contact one. We were ignored. Total clusterfuck. Pilot was courteous and professional but front desk was Frazzled and incompetent. We were hugely inconvenienced and missed our obligations with no offer of compensation. Then when we finally get on the plane they kick us off!!!!!!!!!! Now they are saying a 630 departure for a 2 pm flight. This is beyond acceptable and I am about to call the local news and am sending them video of your gross incompetence. I want to be contacted at 815-527-1935 immediately. My time is valuable and no part of this delay is acceptable. I want full flight vouchers for this debacle"
Pros: "Captain and crew were brilliant, kept passengers informed throughout as to the delays, as a result all passengers were patient and understanding. Not much more could have been done to improve the experience as the snow and conditions at Dublin airport were out of their hands."

Pros: "The price was unreal so I had to jump on this, I was able to get on and off with my backpack no problem. The flights were good, captains were very communicative about times, expectations and when turbulence was present."
Cons: "The check in had to be done in person because of the need to check my bag size, I felt a little insulted that I would have to be checked on my honesty. When I got to the check in it was like watching a special forces team measuring and prodding peoples bags to get them in to the little box even when the shapes were the reason they couldn't fit, not the size of the bags. I literally watched someone fit their bag and the attendant take it out and make it misshaped for the box and show how it didn't slide in. I had no issues with my luggage, but that sucked to watch happen to others. The food and drinks came about 10 minutes before the plane landed."
Pros: "There were extra seats due to few passengers. We were very timely in leaving and landing. The dinner was good. I had pasta with spinich and a red and white sause. Very tasty and hot. They came around with plenty of water. The ticket price was very reasonable."
Cons: "This flight was on United. So, there was no internet to purchase as the emails from Lufthansa claimed there would be. I woke up in the middle of the night and went to 3 open seats and laid across them. It was dark and I did not realize that I had moved to Economy Plus. The flight attendant told me that I should not have been there, that she could have charged me for the difference in the seat. Prior to this I felt pretty good about the flight. There was no reason for her to treat me that way. It was apparent that it was a mistake and not done purposely."

High price ticket, then 25$ to check a bag, they give you direct tv as a preview and then make you pay to watch TV, pay for internet, want something other then pretzels, you have to pay for that too. Next up you will charge for our air conditioners to work which by the way they didn't. I have never been so uncomfortable on a flight in my life. Couldn't even bend down to get something under my seat because of the lack of space between rows. Also the air conditioner was extremely warm and the pressure of the air did not reach the seat. I was sticking to the chair because it was so warm. It just sucks that air travel has gone the way of every other industry that values quantity over quality."

Cons: "Though not the fault of the crew or airlines, we were delayed almost 90 minutes because a parent took their toddler into the lavatory while at the gate and they messed it up and plugged the toilet with paper towels and/or pampers. This was after I had a 8-1/2 hour flight from Copenhagen, Denmark. Also, the seat space and amenities are so inferior to international flights. The narrowness of the seat and closeness of the rows makes it hard to be comfortable. After being treated to two meals on the international flight, one small two-inch bag of snack mix is almost pointless."

Cons: "Such a downgrade from other airlines! Awful! They board backwards. Usually the back seats board on the plane after the special needs people. Makes more sense, people are out of the way. My water was poured into a cup from a big water battle. I like how Jetblue gives me a personal water bottle and a variety of snack option. I was given a "snack mix" on this flight which was not good. I hated this flight and there were NO televisions, or usb ports to charge phones. Never again. They didn't even have enough room for carry on bags for everyone. Thank god I packed light and didn't need to use that option. Good to know United Airlines has crappy everything."

Cons: "I didn't like the fact that my husband and i had one option only and that was Indian vegan vegetarian dish. We were told that's all there was left. We gave back our tray. I don't mind going without food for a flight but my husband had surgery die to diverticulitis and can only eat certain food. The flight attendant said that she was going to check if there is anything left in first class but it took for ever and I become impatient as the light were turned off and people were getting ready to sleep. So I switch on the light and another flight attendant came by. I explained the situation but she came back with the same Indian vegetarian dish we turned away. After more frustration and explanation the Stewart came with the. Hi Ken version. I gave my husband my share and he was able to finally take his medication and eat the chicken with the bread. I only ate the ice cream and had a glass of wine. Later on the first flight attendant who served us the meal came with a couple of oranges and a bag of chips. Saying she got this from first class. I kept the oranges and gave her back the chips. Floghing with United is very disappointing to put it mildly."

Cons: "My itinerary said I fly on Brussels Airlines on a specific flight number. I went to the international terminal to discover it is not there. I then asked multiple aiport staff members if they heard of Brussels Airlines and they said they did not. One person said it may be terminal 1, so I went there based on very little information and with hopes it would be there. I got to terminal 1 to discover there is no Brussels Airlines. I walked to Lufthansa because my return flight is through them, but it was not there either. At this point I have 45 min to make it through security and board, and no one can tell me where Brussels Airlines is. The good news is the flight was delayed, and I got an email from United Airlines with the flight status. This is the first time I was contacted by United and there was a completly different flight number than the itinerary. United should be more clear on the airline and terminal information for international flights!"

I can't imagine the staff being particularly fond of the idea of spending an hour delay with your continuous, huffy bitching in their ear. (as if they have any control over the situation"

Cons: "We reserved wheelchair assistance prior to the flight. We had to wait an extended amount of time to actually get the wheelchair assistance with 5 kids 7 and under. Due to the wait we almost missed our flight, we were literally the last to board the plane. We were hoping to grab some breakfast for the kids as we had a long flight and did not have time to do so because of this delay. This is why we called ahead to reserve the wheelchair. The people checking in did not seem to care about the delay and only told us to be patient. Sad, unfortunate experience with accessibility issues."

Cons: "United only had one person working to check people in, and due to a lady with 8+ bags that the only agent had to take 20+ minutes with (while the line stacked up behind us), we ended up missing the first leg of our flight. Told us our bags would be checked all the way through, and they weren't. Checked bag got lost on the way back (again, due to misinformation from United on whether our bag would be checked all the way through), and when we got them back they had obviously been rooted through, with no note left by TSA. I fly often, and this was one of the worst flying experiences of my life."

Cons: "I've only flown with United for four flights. And of those four flights they have been delayed for three of them. To be specific about this flight, straight off the bat the flight was late due to a late arriving plane.. Understandable. Then to top it off they had no pilot. So then the 1.5 hour delay has now turned into a four hour wait. But I'm still waiting for the flight so the wait could be even longer yet. The airline should consider refunding everyone's money on this flight. An hour delay is one thing, but four hours is uncalled for. Never flying with United again."

The RUDE woman (poor English) with assisted boarding then the RUDE man that changed my name and my luggage he chose to send to Dayton OH -never been there in my life and he "dug" thru my luggage - as if he was searching for MONEY or GOLD -he pulled out a protein drink and I asked him to hand that to me so I could drink it as I am a diabetic - he shouted at me "I THROW AWAY'. During the two hour delay I could have used it !! Poor service I will fly American from now on !!!!!!!!!!!"
Pros: "Crew staff went out of his way to find something for my aisle to snack on when the person next to me asked if there was any snacks on the plane. The plane had to be changed for another plane due to a mechanical issue on the first plane, and the new plane had not been stocked with food after it's previous flight, yet the crew member was able to scrounge up some snacks for us! Also got complimentary directtv - nice, but doesn't make up for not getting home in time yet again."
Cons: "United sucks. I have flown it maybe 10-12 times in the past 2.5 years, mostly back and forth between Chicago and Boston. I have had only 3 round trip flights go without a hitch. Every other trip was delayed. This time 4 hours on my return flight to Boston due to a plane switch, boarding of a new plane to discover a mechanical issue, deboarding, waiting for a new plane, then boarding and sitting on the ground for another 40 min before we were able to take off. I was delayed 1.5 hours on the way to Chicago due to another plane swap (no joke). Still doesn't top but my worst 5 hour delay in Chicago on the way back to Boston because the captain didn't show up. United is atrocious and is my last choice or any airline. Only fly when I'm absolutely forced to now due to no other reasonable choices. They are below delta, JetBlue, American, southwest, and embarrassingly, spirit as well. Terrible."
Cons: "We were connecting to this flight after flying in from Rome. Initially we were scheduled for an 8:30pm flight, but after landing early asked if we could change to an earlier flight. They graciously bumped us up to a 7:30pm flight, which trimmed our 4-hour layover down to 3pm. Cut to 6:15pm...we find out that the flight is not delayed AN HOUR due to a "late inbound flight." Long story short, the 7:30pm flight ended up departed later than the 8:30pm flight we were originally scheduled on so we didn't get to LA until after we were originally supposed to!!"
Cons: "While happy to have pilots concerned about my safety, it was frustrating to suffer thru 2 different mechanical delays. The first one was a missing rivet - which turned out to be so bad they had to put Us in a different plane. Then, that plane developed some mechanical/software issues as we were taxing. My 3-hour flight turned into a +5.5 HR endeavor. When you are on 2 broken planes in a row with the same airline you start to to wonder about how well they are maintaining their equipment. I feel like I deserve more than a "sorry" for the use of my extra time, but no credit or flight certificate was forthcoming."

Cons: "I was seated in a window seat and another woman my size about 110 pounds was seated in the aisle however there was a 400+ pound man sitting in a middle seat which made it very difficult for me especially to even sit back because it was touching me the whole time when you have somebody of that size You should make sure they are on and I'll because then the find attendance would have some difficulty getting through instead of your passengers being inconvenienced either that or force people of that size to take two seats"
Pros: "First of all, the crew was amazing. I had just been traveling for about 20 hours and I had a seat towards the back of the economy section. After traveling that long, I was getting antsy to be at my destination, and I asked the gate agent if she could bump me to a row towards the front of economy- thankfully the plane wasn't full, and she was able to! It's the little things like that, that are what make me fly United. Also, the cabin crew on the flight was great! Of course, the economy section of the plane wasn't an ideal amount of space, but come on- it was an hour flight, and they did a good job of trying to spread people out so that the rows weren't packed."
Cons: "Boarding took a little longer because the plane was being cleaned. I believe they said the overnight flight got in a little late and they still had to clean the plane. We boarded late, but still got to our destination early. Negative turned into a positive- you can't beat that!"

Cons: "Flight was delayed for 40 minutes because of "paperwork" according to the pilot. We boarded the plane on time however had to sit on it during the delay. We were not informed of what was going on until we had already been waiting for 30 minutes. When they informed us of the delay they offered everyone free direct TV in flight to make up for the delay. Once we finally took off they announced that the direct TV was not actually working. The flight attendant making the announcements was not sincere and rather unprofessional. Luckily the pilot flew fast so we ended up arriving only 10 minutes late."

Cons: "First of all the flight was booked for a plane which was too large to land in Providence. So either way we were going to have a longer day and extra leg.....which I only paid for ONE plane change. After running to the gate because my first flight was late taking off, this flight was delayed due to engine issues. The agent had us standing in line for 1 1/2 hours while she tried to figure out what was going on. So instead of taking off at 5:40 pm, we took off at 9 pm and still had to catch a bus from Boston to Providence...HORRIBLE Flight = Long Day/Night"
Pros: "The fact that you serve a small complimentary drink and snack on such a short flight was extremely appreciated. It seems most airlines either won't serve on a short flight or charge you extra. Also, I absolutely love the new seats on the planes you guys have been using for quite a while now. They're much more sleek/minimalist so they don't take up as much room. As a disabled person, the bulky seats still employed by many planes on other airlines are incredibly hard on me getting in and out of the seat isles. The crew was very efficient and kind. I also appreciate the thank you to military personnel that they announced at the end of the flight."
Cons: "My gate was moved a few minutes prior to scheduled boarding. It was a minor inconvenience. Flight was a bit late getting out, but still arrived at designated time. Complimentary Wifi would be pretty nice, but not expected."
Cons: "Lack of communication. Kept us belted down for s very long time. Lacked food service, lacked water service till the very end of the lock down. Then we were given the option to leave the plane as the doors were to be disarmed. But if we did the plane could get clearence and leave with no warning. I missed my connecting transportation, had to scrape my weekend plans, currently searching for a place to stay tonight while they locate my bag. I am cold and left my jacket in my bag. The United counter people are blaming it on the weather. I am sure everything was delayed by the laxadaysical baggage loader. The one person ( or lack of help loading the bags on the plane completely altered my travel plans. I requested assistance for hotel only to be told they are full when in fact several are vacant on the Internet. I should of videotaped the baggage loading in Canada, it would of went viral."

Cons: "You sold me a ticket on Lufthansa. When I got to Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris I waited 45 minutes in line to check in with Lufthansa. When I got to the counter they said they had no record of my reservation. When I showed them the Lufthansa reservation they told me it actually was for a United flight, even though it clearly said Lufthansa . I had to wait another 45 minutes in the United line to retrieve my boarding pass, then about another hour to go through passport control and security. I barely made my flight. I will never make a reservation through Kayak again. I am deleting your app."

Cons: "I was stuck with commercials for direct tv, two feet from my face the whole trip. I would push the button to turn tv off but it would come back on less than five minutes latter. I had my head phones in listening to personal device but was still distracting. speaker for announcements were extremely loud. the poor lady next to me would jump and then plug her ears. question, if you are allowed one carry on and one personal bag, why do you only have space for a third of the passengers to stow said bags?"
Cons: "- Horrible food; - Very old airplane. The oldest I ever flew; - The entertainment system was horrible and not worked. We came the whole flight without having access to anything, neither the map of the flight."
