    Poor customer service at pickup
    Cons: The agent sent me to a car to pickup that someone else already had. Then he gave me a huge van with no covered luggage area, when I booked a midsize. The wait in line for pickup was too long also.

    Never had such a terrible renting experience befor
    Pros: The POSITIVE: - The vehicle worked. not great, but it worked. It had a huge dent on the side but still closed the door. - The vehicle was clean.
    Cons: The NEGATIVE: - The representative that "helped" us, which I would love to put his name on here but I'm a better person than that, LIED saying "you would get a $300 fine if you do not get the E-Z toll because there are tolls everywhere, and this is only $11 per day" truth is that THERE ARE NO TOLLS IN LOS ANGELES. Zero. - He also tried really hard selling us the "Insurance" for the vehicle, saying that it is 100% required in the state of California, which happens to be a pretty expensive add-on (we already had insurance), and happens to be NOT AN INSURANCE, it is a Collision Damage Waiver, which is NOT required. - The representative also started to get frustrated and to say things like "if you don't get this, you are gambling and not being smart about it", which really is disrespectful. - We waited for the shuttle to show up for about 20 minutes, then realized the shuttle had a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT that was BLINKING!!! (when a check engine light blinks, it means that there is something really wrong with the vehicle https://motorist.org/articles/check-engine-light ) which shows you the kind of care they put into the business; then had to wait in line for about 35 minutes since they had a big line and only two representatives. - READ BEFORE YOU SIGN the contract. I cannot emphasize more on this. READ. - If you are renting the car for 5 days, for example, make sure they charge you for 5 days and not for a full week. there is a part in the contract that says "RATES" and if you do the math, the daily rate should add up to the days that you rented the car for, not a weekly rate. Overall, and awful experience, and would never recommend Advantage to anyone. they do not deserve your money. Even if you are trying to save money, you end up losing more than expected and it will end up being expensive.

    Pros: NOTHING
    Cons: No shuttle at the airport. Another (Sixt ) rent a car driver that saw us for nearly one hour waiting for shuttle picked me and my handicap mother. Great man with Sixt rent a car dropped us at Advantage / EZ rent a car. We were instantly shocked seeing over 100 people in line inside and outside the building in zig zag shape and around the building. Soon we realized those people have been there for hours and only one agent was at the counter. Now this was at 8:30 PM and we have to attend a late family dinner part at 9:00 PM some 50 minutes away. Later they added another agent but agent # 2 was leaving at 11:00 PM. The manager showed up with lots of attitude telling we should appreciate his hard work because he had 3300, 3,300 reservation that day and he pulled most of his employee to work in the morning. There were some wheelchair customers that were in pain and the manager was saying if you are not happy request a refund from where ever you purchased your rental and leave. It was about 10 P.M. at this time we had to find away back to LAX, make another search and reservation and go to another company to rent a car. All I was thinking was O.Js commercial. To make the story short I taped most of it and have pictures as well. We were given a car shortly after midnight. Over 3.5 hours plus almost and hour waiting for shuttle. Over 4.5 hours all together. We got the leftover of the dinner that was cold. No more DISADVANTAGE / Not EZ rent a car.
