Pros:The car was clean and well-functioning, and pickup was pretty quick.
Cons:It was hard to find the location of the Alamo desk, so finding the place to pick up was tough.
Cons:Booked a vehicle to pick up AT airport, turns out it was not at the airport but 20 minute train ride into downtown Vancouver. I booked to pick up the vehicle at 3 pm, however the downtown location closed at 3 pm and left us with a dark desk and no way to find a vehicle. When I booked it, the online page should have warned me that that particular office closed at 3 pm. No calls were made to us to find out if we were on our way or what had happened. Luckily a gentleman at the convention center onsite helped us find the last vehicle for rent in the area and we paid more and got a tiny car, but it was a vehicle and we did not have to stay the night in Vancouver. Being such a large company, I would think the website would have warned me that our pick up time and the closing time were the same and I would have researched further. Won't ever book with Alamo again.
Cons:At checkin, there was no info provided about where to return, no return directions in the paperwork. There is no signage for rental car returns so I spent about 15 mins driving around, then had to call customer service, who had no idea. Frustrating.
Pros:The service was rather quick and easy when we got to port. We were upgraded to another car at no charge and did not have to fill up the tank as it was only a quarter full when we received it. The car was great!
Pros:When we made the reservation it was for two people but another couple came along on the cruise so the larger minivan gave us the room we needed.
Cons:Booked a full size. They never told me they don't have one. When I go to parking lot, they hand me over a compact (still without telling me). When I ask for full size, the day we will "UPGRADE" you to minivan. Sorry, that's not an upgrade and you could have at least told me that you don't have car I won't.
Pros:The agent at the Alamo Cruise terminal was professional in every way, from dress to helpfulness. He even gave us a free upgrade to accommodate our 6 passengers and luggage.
Cons:We had to wait about 20 minutes after getting in line for the two available agents.

Pros:The location was inside Canada Place which was very convenient. The rental agent was quick to help when we arrived and was expecting us. They inspected the vehicle with us before we took it and made notes on the vehicles condition.
