They didn’t honor our reservation. Never got a car

They didn’t have a car available. They took a reservation without having to vehicle, which seems to be a normal practice. That’s unacceptable.

They asked for a state id rather then a driving license or passport I mean which foreign traveller carries a state id of their country on a trip had to cancel the reservation

I contacted the rental agents to give my flight number and advise that the flight was delayed. I was told that if the flight number was there the agent would stay for a few minutes past closing. My flight arrived and I called the counter at 12:45 and again at 12:47am , before they closed at 1, and no one answered. No one was there for me to get my rental, then I had to pay for $100 uber when I was with my young child at 1:30am by the time the uber arrived. Then I called the next morning, the agent was extremely rude, told me the flight number wasn’t put in rental booking.

I dealt with a prior rental company however did not feel comfortable at the end of the experience. I decided to go with a brand in Alamo. Everything was done professionally with clarity and with GREAT value. The most important part was the amazing personalized service from Wilder in Poblado. He treated me like family. I will absolutely be returning back as they now understand my needs and the importance of value. Strongly recommend!
