Cons:Price quoted is not the true price after taxes and fees. Alamo should be upfront with total Net expense at before accepting the rental agreement! Now I will reconsider using Alamo again.

Pros:I liked the gas mileage I got on the car.
Cons:When we picked up the car, the computer system was down and we had to wait so long and then when we tried to pay, our agent had to call the credit card company because we were charging more than 200 to the card and had to make sure the funds were there. He spent 30 mins on the phone trying to get someone at the credit card company to answer. After that, he didn't offer any kind of compensation for our long wait or anything. As a customer paying almost 600 for a rental car, I expected to be treated a little better.

Pros:Nice car.. Clean car
Cons:While upselling the car, I requested return location to changed to LAX from Buebank. Sales person John tried doing so but his system hanged. He confirmed that I can call the customer care and get it changed for free. Upgrading to a different option was conditional based on change of return location. As I was holding the line, I trusted his words. However when I called the customer service, they refused to honor there promise made by their sales staff. I spent 40 mins over 4 phone calls and they were first in denial and later adopted accusatory tone. Bottom line - they don't mean what they say.
