Pros:I reserved a car at the "special" rate (I think that is what it was called), which gives you a very low price on the condition that you will take whatever car they have too many of. The price was $80 to $100 less than what other companies were offering. The day of my reservation, they had too many minivans, much bigger than I needed. However, when I went out to the lot to get the car, the "greeter" who shows you to your car asked what kind of car I wanted. I told her about the terms of my deal, but she that wasn't a problem. I could pick any of several cars they had. I got a nice Hyundai, much smaller than a minivan and much more fuel efficient. When I returned the car a few days later, check-in took less than 5 minutes. Good car, excellent service, outstanding price.
Pros:Ease of picking up the car
Cons:The car did not handle well when going more that 60 miles per hour, tire pressure light came on intermittently during the trip.
Pros:The charge for 4 days was reasnable.
Cons:The vehicle had a Starburst in the windshield that I had to point out to pick-up staff. I didn't notice that the fuel tank was not totally full until I arrived at my hotel a few miles away. I called Alamo to complain but still returned the car full of fue!l. it's not really feasible to fill it to 7/8ths or what it was upon pick-up. The car's fuel should have been checked before I got it!
