Location to Disneyland, Clean updated rooms. Clean towels everyday, You now have to pay for parking and it was not stated on line. You have to pay for some things at the contental breakfast. If paying ...not great choices either.
Location It was dirty, full of bugs and needs some serious renovating.
Location and cleanless and overall design has an iverall good feeling Just better the complimentary breakfeast its really not that good just donuts and cofee or orange juice. And the hidden fees once you get there you would have thought hotel included free parking but charged 9 plus tax and checking in early additional days parking
Local and clean
Close to Disneyland and restaurants. Safe in room. Towels nice and thick. Clean rooms and property. Handy store. Just barely enough parking spaces, and it costs $9 per day. Store items a bit pricey.
Incredibly clean room on the first floor (of 2). We were there for 5 days, and originally we thought we'd only be there at night after full days at Disney. We ended up coming back each day for about an hour or two during the hottest part of the day (and to avoid some crowds!). A small fridge to keep things cool, the bed was very comphy, a lot of pillows to choose from. Some other guests would slam the doors occasionally, but nothing the hotel can really do about that. We didn't have a car so didn't have to worry about parking. Looked like there was plenty of room, slots were probably a little closer together than my car would've like but that's just me being a little picky. It is litterally 100 yards from the Disney tickets stands, or you can buy in the lobby. Service was pretty quick checking in and out. The little shop has a bunch of travel items and small snacky items and plenty to drink. Pretty much anything a traveler would need. Only problem, and this is really minor, is that the toilet would slip occasionally and not fill the tank in order to flush again. Simple fix, just take off the top and push down on the pump thing, works good. No other problems with our stay!
its availability to my needs without going far
Highly recommended, just across Disney street. Large room with fridge, quiet, clean ... excellent The breakfast: have to pay for milk and cereal!
Room cleanliness. Pool near Disneyland Everything was great
We stayed here since we couldn't get into (what used to be) our favorite place a few doors down. From the second we got there everything was pleasent and clean. The front desk got us sorted out quick, which was much appreciated as we had just spent 10 hours on a small motorcycle, and our room was nice and quiet. I had read some other reviews about the "outrageous" parking fee which turned out to be $9 a night which didn't bother me. They have valet, but you don't have to use them if you don't want to. They sell 2-5 day park hopper tickets right there for the same price as the gate so I didn't have to wait at the line for tickets which was great!!! There is a small attached cafe which sells the typical Starbucks-ish fare and has some grocery items and souvineers as well. The walk to the park is almost the closest walk you could have, only one hotel closer. If you are still awake after your day at Disneyland there are plenty of channels on the TV, and they are clear. Overall we had a great expirience and this will be our first choice on future visits. I really don't have any complaints. Some will complain about the parking rate, but as far as I can tell everyone is charging about the same so to me it was a non-issue.
Close to disneyland
I liked that it was very close to downtown disney and the convention center. We didn't even need a car. We put our please service sign out at about 7:00am and came back at 2:00pm and the room still wasn't ready. They didn't stop by until about 3:30 which I think is a little too long. I wish you also had a vending machine for when the grocery store is closed. Coming from a different time zone it was hard to get a quick snack.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool and the cleaning staff was very good. The location was excellent! Overall a great place to be in Anaheim.
Location, location, location East car rental drop, airport shuttle , right close to LAC, Dennies right next door. Staff were perfect.
Close-ish to Disneyland Breakfast Held bags before room was ready and after checkout Shower did not get hot, tub kept plugging Thin walls Loud parking garage next door Sketchy area late when Disney closes, around a dark corner, bus stops, alleys Not as green as claimed. Continually changed out towels even when left hanging.
There was trouble finding a parking spot since we arrived late in the evening. Bathroom was small and floor needed to be better cleaned. A/C was hard to adjust
Clean, reasonably priced, and a short 0.70 mile walk to Disneyland property and several restaurant options. Front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping staff are all very friendly. Free continental breakfast is nothing to write home about, but it is definitely a bonus to hold one over until lunch time at the theme parks. I have stayed here 3 years in a row and plan on returning for future stays. Can't complain about anything other than to forewarn others to not click on any links to the Knights Inn in Anaheim- was unpleasantly surprised to see I was charged a 1 night no-show fee even though I never completed a room reservation transaction with them...another reason to stick with Super 8 on Katella!
Location was good. Ants in the room. Stain on the bed. Dirty carpet. A/c too noisy. Mixed up my check in for someone else.
Location is great, just a little walking distance. The rooms look really nice inside, you wouldn't think so by how simple the exterior looks. Clean, free wifi, cable tv, pool, free breakfast. The only thing I didn't like in my room was the carpet had this thick feel as if soap or something wasn't fully cleaned out of it, so if you walked barefoot you'd feel this on your skin. Maybe needs to clean the carpet completely and get rid of that weird film feel from the carpet.
I like how its conveniently located next to Disneyland, it's not a far walk to and from the park. The breakfast room is nice too, it comes with the room and you can make your own waffles. The only 2 I didn't like is the internet has bad connection, it takes forever to load a video. And the TV doesn't have a port to put in your chrome cast devices in it.
not bad for the price
I really liked the friendliness of the staff, Nest and Carla they were awesome, the price of the room was good and location, I likedon't the fact the shuttle stop to Disney is right in front of the lobby also they offer free parking for guest not a lot of hotels around there do that. The beds were a little uncomfortable but not unbearable
Liked the cleanliness. Also loved the mickey decals in the room. I wish breakfast had some eggs or sausage/protein of some kind.
We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendly staff. The breakfast accommodations were more than I expected as well. Very suitable for a family preparing for their day at Disneyland. Nothing
Good variety of breakfast choices. Staff was very friendly and quickly took care of returning an important item I left behind. Climbing stairs with suitcases. Elevator would have been nice, even though it was only a one floor climb. At 66 I am not that sure of myself on stairs.
Great staff. They were kind to change our room to a larger room last minute without extra fees. The room with the bunk beds are extremely convenient. Great for kids, and the bunk beds are in a separate room with bathroom, little chairs and mickey comforters as if it was a children's bedroom. Great attention to detail, loved the disney characters stickers on the walls. Breakfast included. Very complete breakfast includes cereal, oatmeal, and delicious waffles you make yourself. Staff at the kitchen was also really nice. They have a laundy room too, and it's really cheap to use. Very convenient distance from Disneyland. We ended up staying a couple more nights than planned. We we're not expecting this great quality for the price. My congratulations to all the staff. Only downside is that you can hear what's going on in the room above you, but our neighbors weren't very noisy.
The only thing that I liked was that it was close to Disneyland. It was not what we expected. It felt more like a Motel 6 than a Inn and Suites. The rating was a three star hotel and this to me was not. Very dissatisfied.
Very clean rooms, nice details like the ones you find in luxury hotels, like towels folded in nice shapes We had a problem with housekeeping because the lady decided to throw away food from the fridge ( that we bought to bring back home) and also my husband's nice razor. But front desk was great! They not just apologized, they followed up next day with management. Sales manager then decided to refund one night Amazing response from management... Congratulations for a Hotel well run! This things make a difference!! Would definitely stay here again! Breakfast
Horrible attitude from front desk, would never stay there
Nothing We had a late check in due to traveling there. I called the day of arrival to notify them that we would not be arriving until late evening. It was noted with the staff over the phone. When we arrived after a very long 6 hour drive there. We were notified that our room was given away and we would have to go to another hotel. Very inconvinient when traveling with a family of 5 and 3 small children. A very disappointed mom !
Cleanliness Great staff
Great hotel close to Disneyland. An 11 minute walk gets you to the gates. The rooms were clean and equipped with regular hotel amenities. Internet was fast and reliable.
Location We had no hot water and we had ants and other bugs in the room and it's was very loud
Easy check in and check out. Walls so thin you can hear everything. We were on the first floor with a family above us. They kids were constantly jumping around and pounding on the floor. This lasted all night and early morning. We had to call the front desk twice and still didn't resolve the problem. They should really consider the way they place people in the rooms. Someone with little ones should probably be on the first floor so there aren't any disturbances. This was our first stay here and will definitely be our last. We were very unhappy with this stay.
large comfortable room, excellent location to disneyland
Pros = the location, mini-fridge, microwave, price, size of TV, the room was generally clean We had spiders and a few coach roaches.
The price and the amenities were quite satisfactory. It's not the ritz, but it was quite appropriate for what we needed. Sometimes heard a toilet flush next door, but nothing that bothered us at all. There were a couple hairs on the floor near the bathroom - not particularly appealing, however for the price it didn't bother us too much.
Staff was excellent Air conditioning not good
Close proximity to Disneyland, and very helpful staff. Rooms were clean and well cared for. Beds were hard and uncomfortable.
When I requested a working fridge it was promptly brought The maintenance guy didn't know if the fridge would work, it stank inside and out. The sheets were dirty. There wasn't good air circulation and the bathroom smelled like mold.
We will definitely choose Castle Inn again
the text from the staff about the room was great..check in was super fast and easy, and the room was really nice which was a surprise for one of these cheaper hotels the pool is not great
Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Within walking distance of Disneyland. Free parking on site. Mini fridge didn't keep contents very cold. Only ice machine I saw was on the ground floor near the elevator, and our room was located on the top floor.
Location close to Knotts barry Farm Bathroom was just plain gross only a trickle of water woul come out of the faucet and I wou even step into the shower.
Cleanliness and the non smoking facility and its close to knotts berry farm. Has fridge and microwave. They said breakfast is until 10am but we went there at 9 am and they were closing.. There was almost nothing left for us to eat except cereals and waffle. Wifi is super slow.
Location was okay. The hotel is infested with bedbugs. So be aware. They also have an ongoing construction in their parking lot which blocks access from one of the street. They did not let us know before hand or upon arrival. During th check-in, they made us sign 2 pieces of paper but once signed, they refused to provide a copy or to show them again claiming that it is the policy of Hotels.com. They also gave us only one set of breakfast voucher for two nights of stay. Finally, the shower was cold the entire time of our stay and ruined our nights. This place should be avoided.
The place has a 90's look, with interior from the 80's. Not a modern look at all, but it's a great deal in Orange county, right next to knotsberry water park. I booked a king bed which was upgraded to a mini suite, and the room was very clean. It had a 40 inch? lcd tv to channel surf. The AC unit is outdated, and did not work properly The breakfast room is a hoot, looks straight from a 50s diner. Get in there by 9pm, shove your moth and get to the water park. not a bad idea Small bathrooms AC Unit needs replacement
Location was great and bed was comfortable Returning to the room after being gone all day to find underwear that did not belong to anyone presently staying in the room was very unsanitary and unsettling, especially since my 5 year old almost touched them. The underwear was on clean towels in the sink area. Maintenance responded and removed the item and towels, but there was somewhat of a communication barrier where he kept asking who the underwear belonged to. I still have that same question. This would have been a perfect place to stay at again but it was more clean prior to leaving for the day than it was returning. I will most likely not return to this location.
Still remodeling. Looks good but could of done better with more details looks a little cheap but still nice overall. Right across from knotts and a shuttle to disney. Worked out really well. No issues great hotel great price and you get a welcome basket and letter Wifi didnt work good at all
Huge hot free breakfast. Free soda and water. Limited cable and parking.
This hotel was excellent, I was a bit worried because of some of the negative reviews, but those worries were not neccessary. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a complimentary welcome basket that made us feel special when we got to our room. It is very close to Knotts Berry Farm, and they have a shuttle for the theme parks, as well as midevil times. It was an awesome stay, and a great value. When we go back in November we will 100% stay at Best Host Inn.
Shuttle, comp basket, breakfast was fantastic. Staff really nice. Carpet dye on feet, socks, slippers.
The carpets were disgusting. We have a set of 1year old twins and of course they started crawling all over the room exploring. After about 30 min their legs and arms were covered in black, what looked to be dirt. It was as if this room hadn't been cleaned in years. Totally unacceptable do not bring your children here. We called the front desk and they gave us blankets and bedding to place over the carpet. We left for another hotel the next morning. Disgusting. I had read all the reviews and thought I was getting a decent place so not believe the fake "good" reviews it's a scam.
Friendly staff and the little extras ( complimentary basket in room, treat for kids at check in, refreshments in lobby.
Walking distance to both Anaheim Convention Center and also Disney Land. Hotel is a stop on ART, so it is easy to travel to local attractions and shopping. There is also a pool and sauna. Good Value for a moderate price. The room did not offer a blow dryer or hair conditioner.
The hotel smelled like urine. our bathroom sink was clogged and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. Our door keys quit working every night. The bed was unconfortable
The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Disneyland. It's also very close many dining options. The area felt safe and I was not concerned about sketchy people while walking around. Our room was supposedly a non-smoking room. Not sure if they put the sticker on right before we arrived, but the room wreaked of cigarette smoke and the bedding had multiple cigarette burns. The room even came with an ashtray. Additionally, this was the first hotel I have ever stayed in that didn't have an iron.
There was a fridge in the room. There was free wifi access, and free sattelite TV. It was close to disneyland and the bus stop was literally right outside the front door to the lobby. The room was in disrepair. There was mold in the calk around the top of the shower. The shower pressure was very weak. The toilet was too short, it felt like I was sitting on the floor. There was not a microwave in the room, which made it really hard to use the fridge for anything other than cold drinks.
I go to Disneyland 3 or 4 times a year from out of town and I stay at a different motel/hotel each time. This one wasnt bad. The room was clean but no soap at the sink. The beds slept comfortable enough. Staff was friendly. Just a little pricey. For the same price i could have been closer to the park and had a microwave and refrigerator.
Friendly staff So limited facilities
Price. Wireless was down in my area (paid for). Bugs in the room. Water was cloudy. No ironing board.
Staff was great, location was super convenient!
Distance from Disneyland; modern decor in rooms; free coffee
We stayed at another Motel 6 in Buena Park and it was dirty, were given bloody towels, and the beds had roaches in them. Thus one was clean. Close to the park and near by restaurants. Small bed, small room, and noisy guests.
Room was great, very modern, comfortable, and lots of value for the price. Beds clean and comfortable. Ample close, no-hassle parking, for free. Excellent, professional, super-friendly, helpful, accommodating staff at every interaction. The advertised room was ready upon arrival with no-wait, no-hassle check-in. Great location and price. Quiet hotel - no highway traffic noise or other loud guests. Surrounding neighborhood seemed safe, even late at night. Thoroughly satisfied, will be back if taking another trip to Anaheim! Pool/Jacuzzi closed at 10pm - I had wanted to go for a late night soak.
The staff were very helpful, polite and efficient. They were willing to answer all my questions and eager to make sure we were comfortable. The gift shop was packed full of merchandise neatly organized and clean. The hotel was close, to shopping and restaurants and theme park parking lots. The beds didn't have box springs which made the mattress a little too firm for our tastes.
There were clean towels and clean flooring instead of carpet. I loved that it was so close to Disneyland because we were tired after a long day of fun at the parks. The hot water ran out after the first person showered. The tissue box was empty and the tub was not functioning.
convenient location to Disney and convention center. Cheapest motel in area. Stayed three nights and only had hot water once.
Alamo is a great choice for Disneyland goers on a budget. The room was decent and the beds were pretty comfortable. Sheets were clean. I must say that the shower in our room was hard to use. Not sure if the controls were stripped or its just inferior engineering. It was hard to adjust to get hot water. To the point where I avoided using it. wi-fi didn't work.
After reading reviews I was scared, but the room was clean and we had no issues. The front desk staff let me park there in the morning before checkin so we didn't have to park at Disneyland. 10 minute walk to the park entrance if you go through downs town Disney. Overall, great value!
Close to Parks 5 minute walk. Beds were comfy and staff was professional and courteous. No complaints
Proximity to Disneyland was a huge plus, the walk to Downtown Disney was only about 12 minutes or so, no crowded shuttle rides with screaming childten required The facilities are pretty bare and minimal, I would not suggest staying here with a large family and/or children
The room was good sized and clean. Good space around the sink. The staff was very helpful. Great location. Controlling the water temperature in the shower was a challenge. Need to get flat screen TVs Very small microwave
Super close to Disneyland, pretty, and clean There was a little critter in the room that should not have been there, otherwise great place!
Great customer service. N/A
The room was spacious and clean for the price. We don't stay in the room very much so it works for my family. The comforters had a few stains but other than that it was good Look for weekdays that is the best time to get this hotel for the best price.
Location convenient to Disneyland The site was poorly maintained and very noisy. The beds were loud, creaky, and uncomfortable. The bathroom was in poor condition and the shower handles did not work. And there was no parking!
Rooms are clean, floors are hardwood-so no icky carpets to worry about. walking distance to Disneyland park There was no "do not disturb" sign in our room, so we asked for one..put in on the door the next day and housekeeping came in anyways while we were gone. Then our sign was gone again...
Amazing staff. Couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. Located right next to Disney Land. 10 minute walk to front gates. All the rooms have just been remodeled when I was there. Pillows were to thin for my taste.
They were great and friendly. They were able to get us early check in with no problems. The rooms are very spacious and nice looking. The neighborhood was great as well. Many restaurants are only at a driving distance. The rooms are equipped with mini fridges and ours didn't quite seem to work, but it wasn't even really a problem since we didn't use it and we didn't bother telling anyone.
I loves the remodle and appreciated the wood flooring instead of dirty carpet :). The bathroom was also nicely done. Everything was great aside from the beds. They were some of the firmest mattresses I have ever slept on which was a bit uncomfortable.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was kind and helpful , a little far from Disneyland after a long day of walking otherwise a very nice stay
The rooms are large, the price was cheap, the proximity to Disney was great, and the shuttle that arrives every 20 minutes for Disney was even greater. The best part of this hotel was the staff - they told us about the shuttle and even let us keep our car parked in their lot the day we checked out so we didn't have to pay for Disney parking. Great view for the fireworks too! Totally worth it. All furniture is mediocre, bed is nothing special, pillows and sheets are cheap. Our hair dryer was broken, and one of our lights wouldn't work. Pool area is tiny. Breakfast is skippable.
The staff was very helpful. They were available whenever we had questions. We were able to purchase the ART shuttle passes at the front desk. The shuttle picks up right in front of the property. They offer free wi-fi and free parking (depending on availability). The bed was huge - big enough for 2 adults and a small child. The bathroom was spotless. The refrigerator was a great bonus. Tons of channel options on the TV. Perfect for our trip to Disney and for the price, we were highly satisfied. The smell in the lobby was very strong. They should really deodorize it.
They remodeled all the rooms and they look amazing! Really nice place to stay and the manager was great. Really great for the price! Beds were a little stiff, not bad though. We could also hear the people next to us being very loud.
Loved that it was located about 10-15 minute walk from Disneyland entrance. Lots of restaurants close. Starbucks is right next door. The Disneyland fireworks show is 100% viewable from the hotel. No need to stay at the park late to see it. I usually stay in higher priced hotels, so this was a 'stretch ' for me to book this place. I was skeptic. However, I was pleased with the room. It's not fancy and it's an old hotel, but they've done an adequate remodel job to make it comfortable and appealing to the eye. Again....it's not fancy & it's old, but we were there for Disney and hardly spent any time in the room. If we had planned on being in the room more, I would have looked for a higher priced hotel with more amenities. This is a good value for the location and the age of the hotel. The staff were amazingly friendly and nice. I wish they had and iron and ironing board in the room. However, they did have a frig, microwave, hairdryer, and coffee maker. The towels are extremely cheap quality and feel a little like sand paper. Lol.
The staff was very friendly.
Great location and close to Disney. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Beds were very hard and noisy. Every move woke me up due to noise.
Walking distance to Disneyland is wonderful.
It was a short (10-15 min) walk to the Disneyland resort, which was the main purpose of our trip. They also were beginning some kind of flooring work when we were leaving, so it seems like upgrades are on the way. The room was outdated, but definitely seemed clean, which was more important to me.
Value for money, close to Disneyland. Aircon too near the beds.
Clean rooms, friendly staff. Tight parking spaces. Good for small cars but bigger trucks/ suv's will have a really tight fit.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location next to Disneyland. The rooms were just OK but adequate. Cleanliness could be improved. Parking convenience is great. Shuttle service would put this hotel over the top for convenience and value. Our family would consider staying here again.
The bedroom the bathroom
Big rooms (2 rooms with 4 queen beds was huge), very clean, friendly staff (nothing was too much trouble)walking distance to Disneyland and across the road from Garden walk. Would stay there again and recommend to anyone with children
The location is good, very close of Disneyland, the hotel is clean. offer best preci
i don't know what people expect from a hotel but for the price it was excellent. the room was big with 2 doubles and a sofa. fridge and microwave in the room. pool was small but nice. as people don't pay for the breakfast i don't know what they are moaning about, we found it very useful. hotel only 10 min walk from disney.
the roominess carpet
Having Disneyland within easy walking distance and good local shopping and restraurants.
Location was very good - short walk to disneyland and to lots of dining options. Staff were unfriendly and we has cigarette burn holes in our bedding. Seemed there were a few weirdos in the hotel with us too - our car wing mirrors were bent back which made us a bit suspicious of our neighbours...
I really enjoyed my stay at the Anaheim Islander Inn. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating to all of my needs. The room was clean and had large shutters so I could sleep-in with out the sun being in my eyes. The hotel is smaller so I felt very safe during the evenings and the early mornings.
Excellant location is walking distance to Disneyland and has numerous restaurants over the road. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was just apples, pasteries and orange juice. Room lacked lighting and had noisey guests above.
walking distance to Disney, free parking, wi-fi breakfast was greasy and yucky (juice, coffee, danish and an apple) which you had to take into your room
location they claim for a continental breakfast.they only offer coffee and pastry
I liked that this hotel was within walking distance of the Disneyland Resort and there was also a shuttle stop right outside of the hotel for a reasonable price. The breakfast provided was easy to grab and go on the way to the resort, and it was free, so that is a major plus. Free WiFi and free parking was also another reason why I chose this hotel over several others in the area. We weren't in the room all that much as we were mainly there to visit the parks, but it was nice to have a large variety of television channels to choose from when we were winding down after a busy day. They even had premium channels like HBO! All of the staff members that I dealt with were very nice and made checking in and out super quick and easy. The only thing I didn't likeep was that the beds were a little hard. It wasn't such a big deal for me, but a few members of my group had a harder time sleeping because of it. The bathroom was a little tight, but not terrible. And the only other thing that was a negative for me was the construction going on right next to the hotel. This is nothing against the hotel itself, but just something to keep in mind for anyone looking for a quieter spot. The room was not very sound proof and we could hear not only all of the noise and construction from the site next door, but every time people walked by the front of our room, it was extremely loud (being next to Disneyland there were a lot of rowdy children staying at the hotel). My last gripe was that the vending machine near the pool wouldn't take any form of payment (wouldn't even attempt to take dollar bills and would just return the quarters immediately after putting them in) so I was unable to get any drinks from that machine.
The room was impeccable, the smell of cleanliness filled out nostrils as we entered. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Thin walls, you can hear a too loud TV easily. No fan in bathroom.
The rooms are nice you have all you would need, Microwave and fridge coffee maker, hairdyer. The floors are nice and clean. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well. The staff was very helpfull when I was in need of somthing. The bed in Room 118 was very firm, I however asked for more pillows and they were very accomidating so that is a plus. I asked for 4 more pillows so I could sleep on those and that worked great. They offered to move me as well but I prefered to stay after receiving the pillows.
Good clean rooms! Friendly staff, close to Disneyland Tight parking lot
At check in the young lady helping us was very nice and informative. The room was extremely clean. The proximity to disneyland was awesome. Over all wonderful experience.
clean, comfortable, refrigerator and microwave lack of exhaust fan in bathroom made it very hot and there was mold growth
staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect; only a ten minute walk to the front gate at Disneyland. The beds were hard but still comfortable
Its very close to alot of things. No vending machines.
Location was decent, especially for the price. It was about a mile away from the park. Hotel was updated and clean, and the staff was helpful and very nice. However, the bed was so uncomfortable--practically rock solid. Only reason I wouldn't stay here again.
Good A/C No shower curtain, phone did not work and was never fixed during our stay, only amenities were hand soap and shampoo from a wall pump, towels are threadbare, floors are dirty, refrigerator barely cools. There is a $50 deposit taken from your credit card upon arrival and they say they refund it the day you check out but it takes a week, if ever.
nothing What a Dump, the parking was horrible, not enough spaces to park for the amount of rooms. I get in my room and one of the first things i do as always was flush the toilet, nothing in it mind you and i walk away to unpack and i hear the toilet over flowing, i shut the water valve off go down stairs and tell the front desk, yeah damn foreigners don't care takes him 15 mins to come up he brings towels and a plunger, throws the towels on the floor no mopping up just push the towels around, and says to me leave them til the room is clean tomorrow, i tell him to take them out now. the ceiling in the shower all the paint is hanging off peeling away, i could go on but no point.
Staff was helpful in getting a different room when first room wasn't ready yet Hotel is old and a bit run down.
Close to Disneyland, with a safe and short walk to shuttle pick up. Free parking and Wi-Fi were nice touches. The room seemed to be dirty, and the staff wasn't very caring. Lobby sign said it opened at 7am, but no one was there to open it until well after 7:30. There was 1 towel in the room and it was like pulling teeth to get any more.
So close to Disneyland. The walk there was close but walking back was even faster! The room and bathroom were a good size with a small fridge and microwave. It was pretty dirty in the bathroom. There was mold everywhere. My towel was clean but my husband's towel was dirty. The place would be better if it got a good scrubbing.
The hotel was literally a 5 minute walk from the trams to the Disneyland Resort. The staff was great. It was totally worth the price. We went for the Disney avenger half and all of us were without a vehicle, so this hotel was in the perfect location for just that! Lacked a do not disturb sign, so room service came and went whenever. Nothing was stolen or missing so we were ok with it.
Nothing The moment we walked in the front desk lady started telling us about a mouse infestation and laughs as if it's funny. The room itself was pretty gross. I never saw any mice either, but it is never a good feeling to be told about an infestation as your checking in.
Great customer service, helped us on the phone when we needed assistance after hours. Older, tight parking spots, no blow dryer
Beds were clean and TV worked 1 room phone did not work and did not have a shower head and instead of just putting one in they moved us. second room must have been in process of being remodeled due to torn walls where baseboards were. looks like mold on bathroom ceiling and stains on furniture and floor. holes in some walls. Would never stay there again. Days Inn is not even a block away, stay there instead.
If they put a bit of money into the place they could be 4-5 stars. Left over q tips on floor it was just fair inside rooms but no problems. They also ALLOW people to park along the curb so you cant get out if you actually park in the spaces under building. We waited for 40 minutes to get car out to leave on Weds...
Very clean, great price, friendly staff, and terrific view of Disney fireworks every evening. Very basic, no frills. Scratchy towels and limited breakfast (frozen waffles, cereal and donuts), but the price was great!
Price, free wifi, breakfast.fu Filthy floors. My kids walked barefoot and they were left black!!!! Disgusting!
Close to disneyland Rooms are old and run down.
clean room, spacious, and little fridge. great honestly, better than I expected. And 20 minute walk to disney parks!! clean room, clean bathroom! Free parking! breakfast could be updates. only bread and donuts and cereal and juice. not a very healthy breakfast
Location was a 10 minute walk from downtown Disney Room was big Large vanity Breakfast included Good wifi fridge and microwave in room hot tub laundry Beds were too firm- gave me a bad back ache paper-thin blankets (but got more upon request) toilet was clogged when we arrived exposed wires behind air grate IN the shower. No protein in the breakfast.
Thank goodness we had an awesome time at Disneyland because it made us forget about this place. The room smelled really gross. We opened the window but the smell didn't go away. The towels were old and stained. The A/C wasn't working. There were no available parking spaces. Won't be coming back.
It was close to Disneyland Hard to get to get into the hotel
Close to Disneyland, ample parking, 24-hour front desk/window, clean, mini fridge and microwave in each room I wish the free continental breakfast lasted at least another hour (ends at 9am currently)
Honestly I had low expectations and was prepared for the worse. I was wrong and was very pleased. Beds were surprisingly comfy and the rooms were better than expected. I was very pleased with the staff who allowed us to park our car here early morning so we can walk over to Disneyland. Sadly there was no rooms available for early check in (we arrived around 7am) but that's understandable since check out for others isn't till 11am. I definitely would come back here for the price and location! Shower pressure was a bit weak but worked well enough to get myself cleaned.
We chose to stay here because it's a disneyland good neighbor hotel however it is not to those standards! The first room we were in the TV didn't work and the room was old and musty the second room the same musty room and the door didn't lock we felt uneasy being on the first floor and a non locking door. Dark rooms with grungy floors won't stay here again!
It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. My room was very clean. My cousin stayed on the bottom floor and she saw a cacarouch
The price 20 minute walk to Disney Land. I felt unsafe walking back from the park to the motel at night with my family
Decent. We liked how it was walking distance from Disneyland. Friendly staff and good for the price. Plumbing wasn't good. Toilet kept making too much noise. Heard everything from outside. And room smelt a little.
Staff Wasnt that clean there are hidden fees and there was only four channels that worked on the. Tv
Comfy bed. Near Disney. Good service Missing room 213. Kept hearing noises near my room.
The Staff were courteous (albeit unable to actually help in most cases) and it is close to the Anaheim Convention Center . My wife and I booked a single King bed room, and we got a double queen room- no solution from staff. The room is old but has obviously had updates, but it was dirty when we got there, stuff on the floor, spots/stains, old burn holes on the comforters, I would sit in the chair as a dare maybe.... It has some great stories to tell I'm sure- based on the stains and wear. Bathroom is updated, but the toilet paper holder is nearly busted off the wall (it actually fell off once and was repaired during our stay) and the toilet tank lid is off another model and it doesn't fit. I took pictures of it all but you can't post them in reviews. At almost $250 a night- nonrefundable- for four nights, I honestly expected a lot better. Also the pictures online are a fair bit generous with the size, scale, and location. Staff so far has been extremely kind and professional but there's nothing they can do to solve the bed situation. At the end of our four day stay, I found a live baby cockroach in the apple juice at the hotel breakfast, and live bugs in our sink. I would love to hear from management on this. I will stay somewhere else next time we visit the convention center or Disneyland.
