the breakfast room entry card - difficult to get it to work also two false fire alarms

Bed was extremely comfortable; food in the bar/restauramt was surprisingly good. Staff helpful. We struggled to find the hotel, even with the directions supplied.

It was clean nothing around the hotel, had to drive a significant distance just to find a decent meal.

Very friendly and helpful staff, a very clean room that had good heating (we stayed in March) and was serviced every day. Our stay was quiet and undisturbed and enjoyed easy access to Arras (35 minute walk or 10 minute taxi) and the surrounding countryside (car). The pillows were a bit hard and the bed quite low.

Staff were extremely helpful, rooms very clean though basic. Restaurant service was very good. Overall a good choice for an overnight stopover.

La Belle Etoille is very clean and the rooms only moderate size but quite comfortable although space for clothing is at a minimum. The restaurant is very pleasant and comfortable with a reasonable dinner menu however the breakfast is overpriced. I had a complaint about some steak which was incorrectly described on the menu and we were impressed with the measures which were taken immediately to correct the error. Although it is slightly out of town the situation is not a problem if you have a car and it is an advantage when visiting such as Vimy Ridge and other WW1 sites. Overall we were pleased with the hotel and staff and would use it again - the size of the room which was spotless is however reflected in the price. There is some noise from the industrial site opposite if you are like us and must sleep with a window open - however I'm sure with windows closed noise would not be a problem.We did not find a way to operate the heater in the room or the bathroom but did not need them - however if we had asked I'm sure that we would have been told how to switch/control them

Nothing in special. The 2 stars are really stars in everything...

value for money and in particular the dinning was great value, rooms are dated and need a makeover, however still A1 value overall

Convenient for Autoroute. Accepts pets in the room. Basic but sound facilities Last year we could take our dog into the dining room but the policy had changed this year without warning. The facilities such as drinks and towels were not sufficient for the number of people staying in the room.
