In room espresso maker had only 1 pod of regular coofee. The other was decaf.
The rooms were just ok - i have stayed in way better 4 star resorts. However, the heated pool and hot tubs were great. Overall i'd say save your money and stay in a nice 3-4 star hotel instead. waaaaaaaay too many dogs!!!! To a non pet owner, this just doesn't give the 5 star experience. I did not have good service in the bar. Our luggage was not delivered on time from valet. Also, the spa amenities were nice but not too clean, the showers were clogged and hair was everywhere.
The amenities, staff polish and overall experience was excellent. Robert at the front desk was exceptional. I would happily always make the St. Regis Aspen my home while in town.
The Gant is located within walking distance west of the base of Aspen Mountain. Our upper floor unit had two bedrooms, dining room, living room w/fireplace, balcony, and full kitchen. In summer, it was a little warm as it is not air conditioned. Staff was very friendly. Nice Pool and Tennis courts. Would definitely stay again.
We loved our stay at The Gant! The resort staff was friendly and helpful, and upgraded us from a one bedroom to a two bedroom upon arrival. The condo was clean, had every imaginable amenity (including a Jacuzzi tub and steam shower), quiet, and spacious. The property was beautiful, and close to town! We loved the hot tub after a long day of hiking...can't wait to stay here again!
If you want space, the Gant is a great option. We opted for 3 BR condo. (Note: the 3rd bedrrom is small.) Would definitely stay there again.
The condos are tucked away at the base of the mountain within a short walking distance to all of downtown Aspen. The staff was attentive and courteous and the condo shuttle vans provided a way to get to the ski resorts (and downtown if you didn't feel like walking) quickly and easily. Two large hot tubs and a heated pool were ideal for soaking after a day on the slopes. Our condo was a good size and very well appointed, clean, and modern. Overall the grounds and amenities were very well maintained. The only problem was that you could hear what we presumed to be the hot water pipes knocking in the ceiling regularly throughout the night. We were on the first floor and this could have been isolated to our unit but if I go back I will request a top floor unit.
I will stay there any chance I get! Easy location, with great shuttle service and friendly, helpful staff that helps you with all of your needs! The views, hot tubs and pools are unbeatable. Thanks for another great stay.
Good location easy to walk to town and shuttles whenever you need if you don't like walking.
This place was big, beautiful, and in a perfect location. It was extremely clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. I will stay here again on my next trip. Beautiful rooms!
The Gant is an awesome place to stay, especially with friends and family. We hope to get the chance to stay there again.
This is my second time to stay at The Gant and I was just as pleased with the accommodations, staff and location as before. I enjoy being able to walk to anywhere you want to be in Aspen in 5-10 minutes or you can take the Gant's shuttle. The Saturday Market is awesome and you should put it on your list of things to do. The Gant is on the quieter end of Aspen and I really appreciate that. My only hiccup was the beds weren't comfortable - not any of the three in Unit D-106. Of course, I sleep on a firm Tempur-Pedic mattress at home so that's hard to live up to.
Very nice complex. out of the way from noise. Excellent staff and shuttle will take you anywhere. Comfortable well decorated rooms. Little bit of noise from adjacent units. I would stay there again in an instant!
Proximity to town was great. Loved how nice the units were. Very well kept. New feel, wasn't a "run down lodge". Room was on Main Street. Was pretty noisy with cars until 10pm and car traffic again around 7am. Adjoining room was just as well left open. I could hear every little thing the neighbors were doing. Wifi connection sucked. Had a difficult time connecting to Apple devices. Never was able to connect to PC
Excellent staff and service, beautiful accommodations. The first night the sheets had holes in them, the last night the bottom sheet did not fit and the top sheet was nonexistent. The hvac fan ran continuously.
The staff appeared to be friendly, the rooms appeared to be clean. A smoke alarm caused a 130 am evacuation. The explanation given was a "belt caught on fire in the kitchen." I don't know what to make of the reason, but to the lay person it appears that it was caused by carelessness (by overnight staff?), or someone didn't attend to midnight popcorn.

Had dinner at the hotel and the food and service was excellent, the waiter was well informed and willing to go above your normal expectations. The rooms were very small and even with very few people staying guest were all lumped together in one area of each floor. This took away any sort or privacy and quiet that you usually find at this type of resort in the summer. Hotel front desk staff were terrible. They would not answer the phone they were slow to respond to any requests and appeared as if they all hated their jobs. Our check out and getting our car from valet was a disgrace on the hotel. Management obviously takes a break after the winter ski season which is not normal for this quality of a hotel. Perhaps some stock holders will look at this 5 star resort hotel that is being run like a 2 star mom and pop motel in the summer and turn it around. I would not recommend staying at this hotel in the summer.
On my previous visit, I loved my room so I was really looking forward to my next visit... But my room was not nearly as nice, it was a handicapped room & so there was no tub & the coffee maker didn't work. Two of my favorite things... I was looking forward to sushi but you guys change the restaurant to a Gastro pub... Which is not a problem but what I did order from room service was no longer available so I was a little disappointed this trip.
The facility looks very nice and was. The service is the issue The service ended up being terrible and has resulted in a disaster story to tell friends about. Just awful. First off, when I got there I learned there is only valet parking. I hate to have anyone else drive my car and being forced to did not get us started off on the right foot but is not a huge deal so we just moved past it. We got to our room which was nice and the best part of the experience. Then I got food poisoning from room service (Burger) so I could not sleep. Then in the middle of the night the fire alarm when off. We had to go stand outside for 45 mins waiting for the fire department to get their and clear the alarm. The kitchen set off the alarm while cleaning. By the next morning I just wanted to get home but on check out noticed they charged a $15 resort fee and a $15 valet fee added on in addition to the tips I gave the drivers. I did not raise a fuss with the staff as they were already hearing from other guest and I wanted to get home. They did not offer any discount or anything for the fire alarm which is bad customer service in my opinion. So, to sum it up, I was forced to valet park, got food poisoning, had a fire alarm set off in the middle of the night, had multiple unexpected fees, and received poor customer service. I still can't believe how bad that one night when.

Staff were friendly, courted and helpful. Location is great for ski in / out and 4 mountain sports on premise made it a breeze for rentals and gear transport to the other ski areas. Rooms are well appointed - we felt right at home. Our room location wasn't the best - a little noisy at times - too near the lobby.

Clean, comfortable and right along side the slopes for easy access to activities. Vaulted ceilings, open living space, wood burning fireplace, and full kitchen were a plus. No air conditioning in unit.
Parking was easy. Check in/out was very simple and hassle-free. Clean Room. Friendly Staff. Very thin walls with adjoining room. Heard a little too much during the stay. Not a lot of food around the site.
The shuttle was fantastic! Staff was very willing to help! Never made it to breakfast and soup for lunch but nice to have available. Traveling with special needs granddaughter and everyone was most helpful in accommodating her needs. Parking was very useful. Jose Feliciano was most helpful on our arrival getting our gear unloaded. A few more utensils in the kitchen would have been helpful. Made a spaghetti dinner for 11 without anything that worked to serve it easily - spaghetti server would have helped. No spatula either. But at the end of the st these are minor issues!
