Just not special anymore. For the price I would expect more. I will just stay at a Marriott next time.
Located next to Rainey Street. Plenty of bars around playing loud music into the early hours of the morning. The sound does filter into the rooms 🤨. Pool and restaurant are excellent. Overall was a fantastic stay.
Pros. Beautiful hotel. Close walking distance to bars & restaurants.
Cons. Notified us in advance as to all the construction that was gonna be occurring during our stay. 7:30am Sunday & Monday was woken up by construction going on outside my window. So much for a peaceful sleep
Pros. Great location! A bit overrated and loud but overall a great getaway
Pros. This is a really cool hotel, great pool, great location, really funky designs and furniture, we loved it. The street outside is probably the best place in Austin to go for a drink.
Cons. Not really the hotels fault but the pool area is busy and people get there early to 'reserve' sun lounges and then go back to their rooms. I hate this practice, if you're not using the sun lounge you shouldn't be able to 'save' it. It's selfish and childish.
Pros. Pleasant surroundings.
Cons. People in hall and next door making tons of noise at 4 am.
Pros. The bar /pool area and restaurant were cool. Very cool crowd
Cons. If you stay close to Rainey street be prepared not to sleep- clubs and bars from down below will keep you up-music was very loud.
