Super hip but unpretentious rock ‘n’ roll focused, dog friendly, warm and welcoming hotel. The best hotel in Austin.
Loved the location in the heart of trendy Rainey, impeccable customer service, unbelievably comfortable beds, gorgeous rooms, super fun pool-side, both guests and staff were i dredibky friendly. I loved the minimal hip mid modern decor All influenced by musical instruments or other music themed accessories. The DJ station looks like an old 1950s stereo. Completely awesome daily happy hour whee you got to mingle with other very fun people.
Facility modern and friendly staff
Water pressure in the hotel was poor 2/3 nights valet only
Everyone was very nice and the pool and bar area was a fun place to hang out.
My room was comfortable but the sheets had a blood stain on them... I understand that these things can happen, but since the sheets are white, if a stain doesn't come out they should be taken out of circulation and not used.
Love the front door greeters were amazing and attentive, there personalities made our week heartfelt, 605 cafe is amazing.....Geraldine has great food an amazing line up for live music and entertainment....the building is unique and truly one of a kind....loved every part if our stay
We stay for a conference at the convention center across the street..Most of Austin besides bar and clubs close early by 10pm...or was too far since we walked most places...our conference was over at 930pm every nite...to get out and make our way out of the convention center to get dinner was 945 ish...most of the week my wife and I didnt have a spot to go to after to eat cuz everything was closed..one spot even said they didnt serve food that day..it was a Tues evening ...one nite we all bombarded the pf changs at 10 and they closed at 11...they were attentive but very overwhelmed staff wise as well as other spots we went to for lunch..there not use to the 7k people that came for the conference.. so we always came back to the hotel but room service ends at 10p also...wish they could stay open til at least 11p......most of the week we uber eats it...which I didnt mind spending 50$ for 1 pizza pie and 10 wings....but we had to wait 45 min for delivery on top of that......if the room service could stay open 1 more hour trust me you will have an insane increase of profit....after spending over 2k for my room for the time we stayed over 200 in just parking fees...we had zero problem paying and will not negotiate the price becuz it was well worth it....wi-fi should be charged...should be complimentary ....just sayin....that was alil inconvenient
The staff and service is 10/10! I've never been to a hotel where they personally text me daily to make sure everything is up to my expectations regarding my stay. We were in a room that faced the container bar, which plays live music until 2am and we could hear it from our room. We called guest services to see how they could help us in which they brought us a fan and white noise machine that covered that sound for the stay. The service didn't stop there though! The next day they offered to move our room--upgrading us to the river view in the 12th floor!!! That's exceptional customer service and this hotel should be proud of their employees for the above and beyond that they do for their customers!! Special shoutout to Kara, Robert and Sioux on their excellent service from start to finish of our stay! The room is modern, comfortable bed and pillows, great bathroom products, and completely updgraded. The interior designer of this hotel did an amazing job! The valet parking is $50/day, but we felt like we got our money's worth with how much we went in and out and never had to worry about finding a parking spot. Besides the service, the location is right off of Rainey st. providing many food options within walking distance. There are trails along Lady Bird Lake that lead you right next to the water. The hotel is 5 minutes away from downtown. My one tip would to request a room on the higher floors so you aren't disturbed at night. (Only if you aren't night owls like us). But again, if noise disturbance happens, don't be afraid to tell the front desk. They are there to help and can only help if you say something while you're there. Great stay, overall! We would definitely recommend to our family and friends!
