Plug-in hybrid was left at zero charge and 3/4 of a tank which made it difficult to refill exactly to 3/4 again. The drop-off process was extremely frustrating with no signage at the drop-off address and no help from the attendant I eventually found walking around. The people working at the front desk were great. However, I didn't get the car I booked. The car I did get smelled like weed. Went in to get another car and was downgraded to a Corolla. We had a long drive and it was very uncomfortable.Reviewed Oct 16 2025

Terrible. My flight was delayed by 2h and the rental place wasn't open when I arrived. When I got there first thing in the morning, they said they don't have a car for me anymore. They were rude and everything took a really long time. Avis at Vienna airport is terrible!Reviewed Oct 13 2025

I was trying to change my reservation due to the snow tire things. The policy of BC is every car should put the snowtire on the vehicle from Oct. 1 but I didn't know that. The pickup line took 45 minutes, which really needs to be addressed. The staff were very nice and helpful, and drop-off took only seconds, so it’s clear the issue is with the pickup process itself. I had already filled out all my information in advance to expedite things, but still ended up waiting in line for 45 minutes.
