Stuck in Las Vegas

Cons: I was very upset already as my drivers license was at the Dallas airport and I was at Las Vegas . I had reserved car rental two weeks prior and when I got to the Avis center the refused my reservation and the picture of my id only phone and did not car to even try to listen. I later found out that night that Dallas airport Avis car rental could have faced or verified my id and Avis in Las Vegas didn't even bother to try . I was stuck in Las Vegas airport with no id , no way to go when I had proof of my insurance proof of my identity and even a picture of my drivers license in my phone .
Cons: Really expensive!!! 81 dollars for not even half a day is rediculous. The only reason we did it was I had a 3.5yr old that needed to get home. How you can get charged that kind of money for a "1 way". You will turn around and rent it out again so I really don't get the extra fee. It a racquet!! The one thing I can say is it was not just Avis. Avis was great for pick up and drop off great people. Car was pretty stained inside but really other than the 81 dollars for 4 hrs. It was really good. Maybe Avis can be the first and change their policies a little and not rob people of their money for one ways. Seems to me you can figure it out pretty easy. Good luck with that!!
