Pros:How easy and fast the drop off was, price remained accurate
Cons:The wait time was a little long but overall good service
Cons:Original car was not very clean with plenty of dirt and crumbs still left in the center console and the USB port did not work. This was a vehicle with 2,000 miles on it. I had to go in and get a new vehicle.
Will never use Avis again!
I received an incorrect damage claim even after showing video proof of pre-existing damage after checking the car back in at destination. Had to go through Customer Service to fix this. Very annoying.

Cons:Quoted 222 then when we got there price was $375 because not unlimited mileage. Plus had to wait in line 45 minutes to get to counter. Staff were not helpful and had to book another online reservation (counter people unwilling / unable to help) to resolve issue. I even had a confirmation email saying total cost $222. Horrible
Waited 2 hours in line during check in in order to get a car. Slowest system I’ve ever seen for car pick up. Can’t believe in 2024 this isn’t a kiosk or there isn’t a more efficient way to check in. I’m all for face to face business but in this case 2 people to check in 20+ people in 2 hours detracts from the customer experience.
Pros:The size car was the car promised
Cons:from the time of check in to actually driving off the lot was over 3 hours. Customer service was very poor and very slow. Even after being assigned a car from the counter it took over 45 minutes of waiting until it was clean. The car was 1/8 low on gas, the car stunk (probably a smoker before us), and the car was dirty. Overall poor experience with DTW Avis. I never had a problem with Avis at other locations and have rented recently. I the future I will try and avoid Avis DTW.

Cons:I was told when I return the vehicle I would be charged for payment and that I could change the method of payment. I was lied to I could not pay cash or use my debit card. My credit card used to reserve it will be charged.
