Pros:Nice new Malibu
Cons:The Malibu first had a probelm with the key fob, so one day I could not lock, unlock or start the vehicle. The Avis emergency road service line was able to talk me through how to cope with this. Later, we had a slow leak in a tire, so we had to drive to an airport 30 minutes away to swap it for another car. Getting in touch with a specific Avis dealer to see if they could handle this was a nightmare. We never did manage to get through the phone system to a human. I had requested a rental at the PHX airport, and what we found on arrival was that the rental agency was a $40 cab ride away! I felt we had been suckered.
Cons:This car was dirty.. the water marks on the windows and mirrors made it hard to see out and check blind spots. Nobody was around at checkout.. I wasn’t thrilled with this. Sad for a well known brand..

Pros:I hope to do business with these guys ever time I’m in Phoenix. Great staff and an amazing car. Experience was fantastic
They offered me an “upgrade” for a way bigger car than I need. I told them we were only two people and didn’t need anything big. They kept misting on the upgrade. It was past midnight and I was very tired and just wanted to get to the hotel, otherwise I would have returned the car. Ended up spending too much money on gas too.
Pros:The car was very nice but not what I wanted.
Cons:I rented a luxury car and was given a luxury SUV. This was a nice car but not what I wanted because of the gas mileage. The guy did not seen very interested in helping. I also asked about renting for an additional day and he essentially told me it was not possible because they are closed Labor Day. I felt like I was being penalized because of their store hours. Next time I will definitely rent from the airport Location as they have more variety and better hours.
Pros:Pick up at PHX was excellent. Drop off at LAX was slow and cumbersome, but no issues

Pros:Pick up was fine--don't typically use Avis so I had to wait in line and they put the hard sale on to accept all the add ons.
Cons:The car they gave me had a smell of someone who smoked in it prior to me. Although fine, it was not super clean inside. The warning light for service of the rear park aid stayed on during the rental. The rental did the job as I had a hard time finding one but wouldn't use them again unless in a bind.
