Cons: The room was located at the end of property, at first floor without elevator. If somebody travel with a lot of luggage will need to walk some feet in open air. It can be very bad in a cold weather of if it's raining or snowing. After it, should go upstairs with the luggage.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a beautifully stunning property! We had expected a "room" for the price that we paid, yet this was a condo with a separate living area, private bedroom, bathroom, fireplace, and fully stocked kitchen. The accessories and appliances were top notch and decor was beautiful! The grounds and ammenities were over the top, great indoor pool, hot tub with jets in our bathroom, pond with paddle boats in front of our porch. Everything was just spectacular and we hated to leave. Location was convenient to everything, right in the center of town.
Cons: If there were any improvements to be made........ parking was a little tight, and the tv cable froze up a lot.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Very clean and spacious!!
Cons: The property had a water issue. It was very difficult-impossible to shower. Very disappointing and refund worthy.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Really needs updating. Under construction the entire stay so construction crews are onsite with equipment 8am to 5pm daily except Sunday. Not good for anyone who sleeps later than 8am. Property should be great in a year or so once renovations are complete and amenities are back. For now it is a great location and the same price as surrounding accommodations. We will return in 2021 once we can confirm renovations are complete.
Cons: Wouldn't stay until 2020 or 2021 as property is under construction. Surrounding hotels are the same price and not under construction.

Pros: Patty was great...very friendly and a pleasure!
Cons: Better parking, but tough in a small lot
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The innkeeper Patty is the charm of this place! Shes wonderful! This stay exceeded any and all expectations I had for my first time at a bed and breakfast. I wouldn't change a thing. I cannot wait to return with my significant other and let him experience the charm of this beautiful place as well. This inn will be my choice of stay from now on in the area. I only wish I discovered it sooner! Thank you for the wonderful stay Patty!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm and friendly. New restaurant Bodegas less than 1/2 mile away, excellent for lunch and dinner. Leave your cell phone and laptop back at home. The Inn at Elk River the best hideaway you will ever know.
6.0 Good
Pros: Patty the Innkeeper was wonderful! She went out of her way to make your stay pleasant. The Inn needs a lot of updating. It’s very dated. It was 24 degrees when I was there and the heater barley worked in my room and the ac window unit allowed cold air to come in. One of the heater was behind a big dresser.
Cons: Heater that worked and no AC Window units that let cold air in.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, cozy, relaxing, friendly, great breakfast!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What made our stay so incredible was Patty, she went above and beyond!!!
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and Pattie was absolutely amazing! Very friendly, she made the stay worth it. It's definitely overpriced for the amenities that are offered.
Cons: TV was way too small. Get rid of the 12 in TV and put a real tv above the fireplace.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful porch views of the mountains! The room was spacious and even featured a fireplace. The breakfast was home-cooked wonderful.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building and unique style architecture
Cons: View from the room was of the parking lot so can’t really say I had the best view
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, Steve was especially helpful and knowledgeable. The onsite restaurant was excellent for it's only meal service which was dinner but had an excellent selection which was high quality and well prepares as well as a good bar.
Cons: Breakfast was adequate but lacking variety. Dry cereal, bagels, sweet rolls and coffee and juice. My bed was comfortable but the bedding was light weight. Attractive but not the warmest.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The on-site restaurant was AWESOME. Food was EXCELLENT. The owner Steve made a recommendation, and it was spot on. He also stated late on our arrival so that we could check in. We ran into weather difficulties.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was convenient, clean and it’s handy that they have a restaurant there. Steve was helpful with telling us where to go for a hike. The complimentary breakfast is cereal and pastries and Steve told us about a good place to go for eggs. We only used the room for sleeping- not hanging out so it was perfect for what we needed.
Cons: It’s a little dated in terms of decor. I had a clip to keep the curtains together at night so it was nice and dark. The cleaning lady gave us a fan so we didn’t hear the AC turning on and off all night. I’d stay there again because it was all we needed- without spending a pile of $$ on a room we would hardly use.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, amazing views and the staff was friendly and amazing, Fred and Dave made us feel like we were staying at a friends place! And the food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious!! Can’t wait to go back! Loved every minute of our stay!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Food was delicious! View magnificent!!
Cons: Heater was a little loud.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved watching the deer. Even feed them
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Property that is very clean and full of amenities; Restaurant and Bar on sight so you do not have to go out in bad weather; Excellent on-site manager who knows his business well. We have stay at Beech Allen Inn many times and have NEVER been disappointed!
Cons: Location, Restaurant, View, Wildlife, Rooms with Gas, Fireplaces, Manager.
5.8 Okay
Cons: It was very outdated. In need of quite a few repairs. Table and chairs in the room was coming apart. Quilt in the bed was coming apart in places. Carpet was old and stained. The first room they put us in, was leaking in the bathroom from around the light fixture on the wall. For the price per night, I was expecting a nicer property.
Overview Reviews
near Town Hall & 300 yards from top of slopes, 1.5 mi from entrance to Ski Beech full kitchen washer and dryer
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved to view from the balcony and the location.
Cons: Beds weren’t comfy and pillows need to be replaced. Biggest complaint—-very little hot water. Only one bath or shower and we had to wait a while for more hot water. Not ideal with 4 kids.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing. I suggest the second floor for the view alone. Had a little trouble with the fire place when we first arrived but made a phone call to front desk and they were there with 15 minutes. Very nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely amazing. When I asked for someone to come and place salt on the stairs and fix the fireplace. An attendant was sent out immediately. The home felt very warm and was very clean.
Cons: Upon our arrival the stairs and balcony had snow all over.
7.9 Good
Pros: Love the location
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Bad experience
Cons: Upon arrival we found out that our reservation if 5 nights on A4 had been double booked. Never found out who was at fault, booking.com or CVI real estate. We were only offered a 3 day stay at similar accommodation. Then on the 30th of Dec would have to split up and move to 2 units of 1 bedroom on another location not comparable to Klonkeska. Then the sofa bed for the children was broken and they had to sleep on the floor on matresses they provided.
7.9 Good
Pros: We loved this condo it was very clean with the exception of the rugs could use washing in the bathrooms and the location was perfect. We come to Beech Mountain often and would try another condo here in the future.
Cons: The only negative about this property A4 were the beds. Unfortunately, this condo couldn’t get the rating it deserves because of the beds. The guest room has two twin beds and one is broken. The other one the mattress tilts so you never lay flat. The master bed is very soft and the center dips down. We were only there a few nights so it wasn’t as bad as if we had stayed a 7-10 days like we normally do while in this area. But we never got a good nights rest in those beds. The rest of the condo was great; however I would put away the Christmas trees if it isn’t the holiday season.
Overview Reviews
Located about 2 miles before entrance to Ski Beech & about ½ of a mile from the downtown Beech area! Washer/dryer Fully-equipped kitchen, dining area gas fireplace private covered balcony with panoramic views
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice people and a nice town. Felt welcomed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: i loved everything
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The few concerns we had were addressed. Staff very attentive and courteous. Beautiful condo with nice view. Very relaxing!
Cons: Master bedroom currently has a king bed frame that's almost 3 feet from the floor. My sister is 4 feet 10 inches and we laughed when we saw that the top of the mattress was almost to her armpit! We both had to use the 2 step stools they provided. However, mattress very comfortable! Staff indicated owner may be changing bed frame.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of towels/washcloths in bathrooms. Balcony with table/chairs. TVs in both bedrooms and living room.
Cons: Crumbs all over countertop near toaster, on toaster, and in toaster oven. Food splatters in micro wave. Dishes left in dishwasher. Floors not vacuumed. Dog hairs on coffee table, on floor, and on hearth. Informed office staff and was told, “we are pet friendly.” We were offered housekeeping to come in and clean but we declined. Master bedroom bed very high and step stools slipped on uncarpeted floors when getting into bed creating very unsafe situation. Master bed pillows very uncomfortable. Had to borrow pillow from friends room. 5 of the 6 bathroom lights burned out. Room darkening shade needed in second bedroom. Bright outside light shining in makes sleeping impossible without unscrewing bulb
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the "home feeling" comfort of the condo! It was a much better price AND use of space than a hotel for our family to relax, eat, make plans and socialize. The location was amazing and perfect for us! The rental came with lots of small comforts such as soap, makeup wipes, etc in the bathroom. Very easy unloading from the vehicles to the unit with straight walk way with no steps! Also, the VCI representative was very helpful with questions when we first arrived!
Cons: These are all small things and are just thoughts to make the unit a little more comfortable - The mattresses and pillows could have been of a little better quality as they had plastic type rustling noise when you moved. Half of the pillows had a "crinkle" noise to them when you put your head on them. The sofa was also not very comfortable to sit on and relax. The bedroom upstairs facing the great room has an open "window" area which allows all the noise from downstairs to be heard in that bedroom. Closing that "window hole" would reduce the noise for more peaceful rest.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great home and fabulous view. Plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms. Perfect for our family.
Cons: House was not very clean. Bathroom toilet needed recleaned, spiders and webs in kitchen and dishes in dishwasher. We recleaned upon arrival.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location was good. Kitchen was fairly updated. Gas logs are what saved us the second night.
Cons: Keys were not given to me upon checkin and I had to return to registration driving in blizzard type conditions. Only gave me paperwork with WiFi password and directions to condo. Heat pump stopped working on second night. Pillows were very old and uncomfortable. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Description on my condo stated that a sauna was shared. When I inquired at the facility, I was told that was another unit. I would most likely not stay again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location Space Washer/dryer Proximity to resort Beautiful mountain view Friendliness if staff
Cons: Sink was dirty and no cable in 2nd upstairs bedroom
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Condo did not like it did on the booking website. Very dated inside. Bed and other furniture were uncomfortable and dated.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location was beautiful and very close to the slopes. Management did their best to help us by replacing the lamp and the skillets and gave us a discount. The steam room worked well. We paid $250 a night and we’re very disappointed with the quality for what we paid however the discount helped some. However even with the discount it was a very disappointing stay
Cons: The sheets were so thin you could see through them. The bed was not made in second bunk bed. The backing off the The chair in the living room was literally coming off. The vacuum that was in the room sounded like a jet airplane and vibrated like one too The lamp didn’t work. The skillets were an awful condition. Housekeeping was still there when we checked at five but check in is at four. It appears that nothing has been updated since the 1970s. The pool heater was not working. The sauna was not hot. The jets in the hot tub were barely flowing. There were three paddles for two ping pong tables.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The views
Cons: The beds are a little hard for our liking.
6.7 Good
Pros: Beautiful picturesque views. Great location.
Cons: Property staff were nowhere to be found. Sofa bed was completely dilapidated. It was only towels for 3 people even though my reservation was for 4 adults. They had lots of recent updates but the vertical blinds at the doors literally fell apart and the wood trim around the cabinets in the kitchen wasn’t even tacked up. We had to purchase our own paper towels and toilet paper.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Nice facility although a little bit dated, good value and location.
Cons: Bed was a little uncomfortable.
4.2 Okay
Pros: I did not like anything.
Cons: No AC Bathrooms were I cleaned. We booked because the view from the apparent balcony showed in the bookin app was beautiful, but the apartment they gave us was dark and the whole balcony was covered by trees.
7.1 Good
Pros: Loved the scenery and the staff they were very friendly. The rooms we stayed in was very relaxing and nice and clean
Cons: We did not get a room with a hot tub like we had originally booked. I sent an email and never got a reply back
9.6 Excellent
Pros: There was no breakfast, which was fine. Breakfast was not included. The room, the view, from our second floor room was amazing, the facility was great. The pool and hot tub was open, although there was a small square piece of paper saying it was closed that we didn't see until our second swim. Since we had already been in it the night before, we took our chances since this was the number one reason we booked at this spot. Otherwise, I wouldn't have booked my reservation here. On the plus side, the pool, hot tub, and recreational area are open 24 hours, which is awesome. We had a great time swimming, enjoying the hot tub, and shooting pool.
Cons: Neither the washer or the dryer were broke, which I didn't realize until I had already filled the washer full of clothes, which i had to squeeze out the water and put the towels in the sink to drip dry. I also had put my clothes that I handwashed in the dryer to dry, which was only a few items. When I checked on them they were still soaking wet, so i turned the dryer back. Needless to say, I forgot my clothes in the dryer when we left. The manager said when we called that my clothes had been recovered, luckily we're going back for another vacation at the end of August, and they assured my husband that my clothes would be there waiting when we come back, and that we could retrieve them then. The washer and dryer would not a been a deal breaker, we would have stayed there anyway. It would just have been nice knowing they didn't work before I loaded the clothes in the washer and put my stuff in the dryer which wouldn't dry my clothes.
