I think the hotel had an excellent location. 3-4 minute walk to the Convention center. The room was spacious, had a good view. The only downside is that the facility is a bit outdated. Other than that, everything was really nice

No parking for a truck. Small vehicle parking only. No hot water on Friday morning, nothing like a cold shower. No one had an answer for any inconvenience, pretty much sums up Salt Lake and Utah as a hole.

I loved this hotel. The only issue I had was non-functional vending machines — I wish they would have a small store instead.

Pros (+) The hotel was great except for an incident with the pool and a front desk staff member. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and pleasant as were the breakfast staff. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons (-) We stayed at the hotel for three nights and chose the hotel to use the pool while we were on a trip to Salt Lake City. The first day my daughter and I enjoyed the pool and had a great time. However the second day I jumped into the pool and noticed something at the bottom of the pool. I was suspicious of the object and grabbed a towel and put it over the object with my foot and brought it up out of...

Cons (-) The front desk clerks were awful. When we checked in we asked for a handicapped room to better accommodate our daughter in her wheelchair and other specialized equipment. The front desk switched languages to talk to each other and didn't even care if we understood them or not. In our case we did. They were talking about saving the rooms for someone that really needed them. At the time we had our d...

Pros (+) Comfortable bed, clean, functional bathroom. The room was quiet, and location was within walking distance to where I needed to be. I would go back!
Cons (-) The room was very small, but as I was alone, that wasn’t an issue. It would have been tight with a second adult.
