Pros: I liked that they had free breakfast every morning, their pool was a great size, made everyone feel comfortable.
Cons: I just wished they had more breakfast options, even though I didn't mind eating their free waffles everyday.
Pros: Hotel was clean and comfortable, great location, great staff
Cons: Breakfast was okay.

Pros: Beautiful grounds and nice location within walking distance of a nice restaurant. Very nice innkeeper.
Cons: A little pricey for April. Room was nice but not spectacular. The old style key lock on the door was very difficult to lock and unlock.

Pros: I like that you guy changed my room , because the 1st room I was giving was way to much noise . Sound like water flushing & and the door keep opening and closing with a ticking sound. We couldn't sleep for one night .
Cons: 1st night was rough sleeping, with noise coming from everywhere.

Pros: This is a beautiful country inn. The inn, cottages , and grounds were pristine. Staff was nice. I stayed in cottage #38 which has a porch that looks over a serene wooded area. I arrived near dusk and as I came onto the porch of my cottage, five doe were just below in the open woods. I sat on the porch and watched the sun set. Very peaceful. The cottage I was in had a shared porch with the adjoining cottage, put no one was there most of the evening. The cottage was very nice, impeccably clean, great heater when the evening turned chilly. Wifi worked, but slow. If I went bak I would stay in the cottage again.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a small coffee/tea maker in the cottage (like hotels have) or a small microwave. Had to go to the main inn to get a cup of tea. Also, as other reviewers mentioned, the walls are paper thin. The couple that had the adjoining cottage came in around 11pm and were only talking to each other but I could just about hear everything. Had they been a rowdy bunch it would have very much detracted from my stay. They finally stopped talking by midnight and it was quiet again.
When visiting Stroudsburg, Stroudsmoor Country Inn is a great choice to consider. Guests can indulge in spa services, and SCI - The Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. An indoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer room service and free WiFi.
Pros: good front desk service and great rxperience from breakfast service team
Cons: I incorrectly booked the date and realized it in 2 min and they did not let me cancel or modify the reservation
Pros: Elegant building, illuminated entrance, well kept parking area. Great reception staff, Hotel Employee did their best to insure we had a great stay. Free wifi, free breakfast was a lovely morning host. Indoor pool, business center.
Cons: small exercise room, which is great and has some aerobic units. Only problem is, major units were out of order.
Pros: The pillows...there were enough and they were comfy.
Cons: The room was kinda noisy- well the neighbors above sounded like they would crash through. The water in the tub coulda been a little hotter and also some yellow water came out.
Pros: Nice facility. Manager was customer oriented.
Cons: Check out time too early. Head of housekeeping had horrible customer service skills.
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Pros: The room was great. Large and spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. The hotel isn't far off of I-80, so it makes for a good spot to stop if traveling to NYC or through the Poconos to New England.
Cons: staff was excellent - friendly, accommodating and welcoming!
Pros: Staff was very kind and professional. Location was close enough to the highway exit. Breakfast had quite a few hot and cold options and the extra hours to 12pm were helpful. Building appeared modern and well maintained. Room was neat and spacious.
Cons: I value sleep in hotels. AC unit had rattling sound but my ear plugs helped. Pillows were way too soft/worn out/not supportive. Ceiling wall too thin, I kept hearing the steps of a running child. Some breakfast items were cold or bad but staff helped.
Pros: Clean and roomy. Free Breakfast
Pros: breakfast included....microwave and small refrig in room
Cons: The eggs are artificial or something. they did not taste good. They need an extra toaster for all those people/
Pros: The staff working the breakfast buffet were SO helpful and friendly!
Cons: The sheets on one of the beds looked clean, but didn't 'feel' as freshly clean as those on the other bed (liked they had gotten tangled up in the dryer).
Pros: The breakfast lady was the best. She was beyond sweet and helpful. To be honest she made my entire stay. She gave me such a pleasant experience. When we left there was no one to check us out. We saw the breakfast lady again and she took our keys.
Cons: I thought the young man working at night could have been way friendlier. I had to ask him where was the gym and the pool instead of him jist telling me. While I was checking in. He never told me they had cookies there I had to find out from a guest.

Chelsea Sun Inn is a great choice for a stay in Mt. Bethel. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool and indulge in massages. Rooms offer up nice touches like fireplaces and comfy beds with premium linens.
Pros: It had one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in (including my own). Something about the sheets and pillows just made it a really comfortable bed.
Cons: Unfortunately the pool was out of service when we arrived, which had been a primary selling point for our choosing this hotel in the first place. I also had imagined that the room would have had more of a wall between the bed and sofa/living room area.
Pros: The room was laid out well and furnishings were nice. The hotel overall was very nice as well
Cons: Parking was minimal and the gps for the address drops you in a state forrest
Pros: The beds were nice and comfortable.
Cons: We were dissapointed to find the pool closed. Also, there was a large Passover celebration, and all the children were running around screaming and fighting in the hallways. They left quite a bit of garbage strewn throughout the hotel. Very very loud.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and an above average breakfast served in a comfortable and pleasant dinning area. An outstanding hotel experience.
Pros: What wonderful, friendly and clean hotel... I can't wait to return! Easy access to anywhere in NJ.
Pros: Not far from highway.
Cons: Pool closed for maintenance for entire morning.
Pros: room was nice and breakfast was great
Pros: The clean kitchen in my room. :)
Cons: Parking in the front of the hotel seemed somewhat limited. There is plenty of parking on the side and back of hotel.
Pros: Clean room, all the amenities, and free breakfast.
the breakfast bar had a lot of variety and the food was excellent. Also liked the make-up removal kits.
Pros: `The rooms are huge and with full size refrigerator, oven, dishwasher and microwave, it's like living in an apartment.
Cons: would have preferred if bathroom sink was connected to toilet/bathtub with door into that room. Had to turn on light to wash hands in middle of the night and this woke up partner. Also our room key became disabled after first night but was replaced quick
Pros: Room was great. Breakfast was solid.

Pros: This Hampton Inn is one of our favorites. Great staff, clean comfortable accommodations, nice pool and exercise room, and the best Hampton Inn breakfast in PA. Our thanks to them for being such a reliable stopover on our trips from NY to Ohio and back!
Pros: We chose this inn because past reviews stated it was "clean". We found this to be true. Walkable distance to downtown stroudberg with plenty of restaurants, pubs, shops.
Cons: Smoking outside the main entrance. Stinky.
Pros: Rooms should have individual thermostats. Was up most of the night adjusting temperature as it was either too hot or too cold
Cons: Disappointed in room for cost. Paper thin walls had to change rooms for noise. Continental breakfast was horrible. Ammenedies poor
Pros: My son threw up all over the bed and the staff was very friendly and addressed the issues immediately. Everyday the staff was nice to my family and son.
Pros: We loved the convienient location. All we had to do was walk a block up to get to a bunch of bars and shops. It was about 10-20 min drive from many outdoor activities. We enjoyed that breakfast was included. While not a luxury hotel, it was very clean and the staff at the front desk was always very friendly and eager to help.
Cons: None of the Tvs were working during our stay due to a cable issue so that was a huge problem. Also the woman who worked the breakfast buffet was extremely rude and made us feel very uncomfortable while trying to eat. She would stand next to us and stare as we got out food. The one day we got there about half hour before breakfast was supposed to end and she started aggressively yanking out all the plugs of the appliances right out from under us as we were trying to use them. Last, I felt that the pricing was a little high for the quality of the stay. Overall We would definitely stay here again though!

Pros: I loved the location as so near elderly parents, town, and highway. I liked the availability of coffee and breakfast in the mornings.
Cons: I was disappointed in the lack of customer service. With an extended stay, the towels were not replaced on a regular basis unless all towels were placed in the basket. Also, with the cost of the rooms, I would think this hotel could afford to replace toiletries mid stay. The availability of hot water for showers was mediocre at best.
Pros: Really the only good thing is the location of this hotel
Cons: Firstly we booked for a 2 queen + 1 king bed but we got 1q + 1k only... Nobody knows how that happened... Too much confusion trying to get my issue resolved. The front desk blames the reservation center and the vice versa.
The rooms are okay but room service was pathetic. Apparantly they dont have room service/cleaning on weekends.. LOL
The breakfast buffet was a joke... They ran out of some items within and hour.... The things that were there were not as good either.
If you can find a better place please avoid this hotel
Pros: The staff (Tina) was terrific.

Pros: My Husband, mother, infant daughter and I stayed in a 2-bedroom villa over the MLK weekend. We were thrilled to get so much space at such a reasonable price. It was the same price as some of the other area resorts with twice the space for my family. The location was wonderful. In close proximity to many ski areas, restaurants, outlets, etc.
Our personal villa was very clean and spacious. It has a working electric fireplace and a backporch, which was nice. All kitchen utensils were included which allowed us to make meals and snacks when we wanted to. Also, there was a washer/ dryer in our unit!
We had a great time at the pool and in the lodge area. There are lots of activities there for kids and adults alike.
Cons: When we and after we checked in, we were then directed to the sales staff who tried to set us up with a timeshare presentation the next day. Despite their best efforts we continuously declined. It was awkward, but we stayed firm and got out of it.
Like everyone else, I felt that the decor and bedding were a little outdated. It would have been nice at the very least to see updated comforters in the rooms. It definitely would not prevent me from coming back, it would just be a nice feature.
Finally, there was a Jacuzzi in our unit which we wanted to use, but it had not been turned on or serviced for a while and when we turned it on, a bunch of brown and black speckles came out. It was disappointing but not the end of the world.
Overall would highly recommend!

Pros: The bed was comfy and the room had bygone era charm. We loved the porch and grounds. Despite all of the things we didn't like, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Cons: I agree with the reviewers who think it needs updating. There were 2 weddings happening on the night we stayed, and the music from each throbbed throughout our room until, which made it difficult to relax. Our room was on the side of the inn where the long walkway to the function rooms was. People's normal talking voices could be heard. Luckily there was no rowdiness.
A great stay at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in East Stroudsburg can include a round of golf at the 27-hole course. Guests can visit the spa to be pampered with deep-tissue massages, aromatherapy, or hydrotherapy, and River Room, one of 3 restaurants, serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast. There are 2 bars/lounges and an indoor pool, and rooms get the details right with pillow menus and bathrobes.
Pros: For my purpose the stay was excellent. I especially like that it was very quiet.
Cons: The included breakfast was poor-there were no eggs or breakfast meats and the coffee was not good.
Cons: When we got to our room, the closet door didn't open. We were immediately transferred to a different room. Here the toilet kept flushing all night. I registered our complaint and it was fixed during the day. When we came back to our room and I flushed the toilet, it kept running. Someone was called in and fixed the problem 4 hours later. The bathtub plug did not work and the sink totally lacked a drain plug. The surround around the tub was either worn or moldy. This place needs a lot of maintenance.
Pros: Definitely the price was great and close to where we visited. Sofa area separate from beds; frig, microwave and neat bench and mirrored closet. Hot beverages, cereal, waffles, pastries, etc. for breakfast.
Cons: Smelled smoke going through the air system and complained. Was suppose to be smoke free. Beds were firm, been on harder ones. Noise level low. Liked being on 1st floor.
Pros: Everything was great.
Pros: The hotel was an excellent value for money. The staff were very courteous and welcoming. Great location close to the highway with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.
Cons: The breakfast selection was very limited. I could smell smoke in the bathroom whenever someone in an adjacent room had a cigarette.
Pros: Not really anything
Cons: Bed covers had stains on them, the price was to high for the room

Cons: Very good beds very good sleep!!'
Pros: Hotel was located close to our family for a 5 day visit. With one exception, room was clean and well maintained. Morning breakfast food variety was very good.
Cons: Toilet (lid/seat) was stained with hair dye and could not be cleaned. Should have been replaced.
Pros: Late check out available. Kind service. Upgraded room. In same location as meeting hall.
Cons: A/C difficult to have desired temp and feel.
Pros: it was clean an quiet, free wifi is a plus.
Cons: the complimentary breakfast was a bit spartan.
Cons: They could not print off a receipt for me (hotel style, not just the credit card slip I signed). I need it to turn in for expense report, and they could not provide one. I will not stay there again due to this.

Pros: CLEANING STAFF DID A GOOD JOB. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND ORDERLY ON MY ARRIVAL EVERY EVENING AND THE MADE SURE I HADD THE EXTRA COFFEE SUPPLIES THAT I REQUESTED.
Cons: AM BREAKFAST WAS A LITTLE SKIMPY
Cons: The place is old. Duct tape holding carpet down. Doors stick. Rooms have musty smell
Pros: Very friendly and helpful at the front desk
Cons: The "non-smoking" room smelled like smoke and so did the bath towels
Pros: It was convenient to the highway anS the price was right.
Cons: The room was small. The bed was not comfortable. Although it was supposed to be a non smoking room, the room and the hallway smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. The front desk staff were bored and listless. The entire experience was depressing.
Pros: The location is ideal. It is just off the interstate and between golfing and the casino.
Cons: The mattress in the room we stayed in was very flat and uncomfortable.

Pros: Met expectations. 10 min drive to Delaware Water Gap
Cons: Facilities haven't been updated but everything was clean
Pros: Roasted Tomato restaurant brought me back to stay here again
Cons: There was only decaf coffee in my room and breakfast wasnt served till 7 am.
Cons: -Rooms were extremely small
-No power sockets or the ones were behind the bed
Pros: Generally was ok
Cons: Water was dirty and promised a rebate but never happened.
Pros: Check in was quick, room was clean.
Pros: Staffs are friendly.
Cons: Bed bugs! Both my wife and I got bitten on our necks, shoulders, arms and ears. Didn't realize it's bed bugs until we saw a doctor after the trip.
Pros: Staff checking in was courteous and friendly rooms were clean and comfortable.Bathrooms real clean and looked Newly remodeled. Over all nice stay and would stay there again.
Cons: Check in time is 2 PM we got there 330 in the afternoon had to wait 30 minutes for the room to be ready .We missed our reservation at a resteaunt planned for my fiancée Birthday. So we decided to eat at the restaurant in the Hotel and prime rib was overcooked and dry and the waiter didn't even comp our bill .
Pros: Pretty average place. Some of the staff was nice.
Cons: There was something nasty on our sheets and when we told them about it they said it's probably rust. It was definitely not rust.
Pros: The price and convenience . The inn had all things a business traveler needed for a quick turn trip, nice bar, workout facility
Cons: The sink handle was broken off and the shower diverter did not work
Pros: convenient location. Quick access to freeway.
Cons: Rooms were a little small for a queen size bed etc.
Pros: The best part of the hotel was the location and the room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is located right in the heart of the Poconos off Rte 209.
Cons: My wife and I just did an overnight stay and the water drains in the room needed attention. The bathroom sink and tub accumulated water because they didn't drain properly. Probably slightly clogged. I reported this to the front desk on checkout. The restaurant's breakfast buffet menu looked good on paper, but in seeing the food it just didn't look too appetizing. So we didn't have breakfast there. Breakfast potatoes looked dried out. Overall was an OK value for the price paid.
Pros: Great value. Comfortable. Clean. Quiet. Excellent homemade continental breakfast during the week. Easy access to interstate.
When visiting East Stroudsburg, Budget Inn & Suites is a great choice to consider. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Roasted Tomato, which serves American cuisine and is open for dinner. There's also a bar/lounge, and rooms offer pillowtop beds and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: My girlfriend and I stayed here after a few days on the Appalachian Trail and it is located close to the trail itself making it convenient for hikers.
Cons: There aren't many options in DWG itself, Wolf Hollow happened to be the most affordable. Girl at the desk was brand new and took a while getting us the room key. Rooms are very dated with old furniture and tiny tv. Early check out time (10 am) also kind of sucks. Price is a little steep for over all experience.
A great stay at Wolf Hollow At The Water Gap Country Club in Delaware Water Gap can include a round of golf at the 18-hole course. The seasonal outdoor pool is a great spot to take a dip, and guests can grab a bite to eat at The Grille at Wolf Hollow, which serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's a bar/lounge, and rooms offer room service and free WiFi.
Cons: False Advertising! They advertise all these amenities-great restaurant, great food, full bar & had none of those. Rate on room remaineed the same. Sent Complaint to Gen Mgr & Sales Mgr and they didn't even have the courtesy to respond. Awful experience!
Pros: Comfortable bed Good temperature control Heated bathroom floor
Cons: 2 unscheduled wake up calls at 5:30am & 6:30am. Also the bedside alarm clock alarmed at 8:30am and we did not set it. we had the 'do not disturb' sign on the door for 11 am checkout. At 10:20am housekeeping pounded on the door. Will not return.
Pros: The heated floors and room service with linen and towels.
Cons: Nothing at all; wonderful, peaceful, comfortable experience.
Pros: The location
Cons: The restaurant closed at 730PM despite posting hours until 10PM since 'they were slow'??! We had a 10 hour motorcycle ride and chose the location based solely on an onsite restaurant. Unacceptable! Don't post amenities if they are not reliable! Dishonest!
Pros: Very nice. Clean and the staff was very helpful. The price is right. I will definitely stay there again in the future.
Cons: The layout of the hotel and finding places in the hotel is a little confusing even with the map given at the front desk. The description said the room had a microwave but there wasn't one. But the solved the problem very quickly and brought one up.
For whatever reason, the hotel was very empty, except they decided to load every guest on the first floor so the floor was noisy and crowded. The rest of the hotel felt like the Shining - empty and creepy with meandering hallways, inadequate signage and lobbies/common areas with no one. We requested a room far away from the elevators, but there was no button to click a room that didn't have neighbors in every room. The hotel was no way close to filled. The cleaning staff didn't even get to our room until 4pm the first afternoon, even though we were out at 9am. Honestly, for the price, we should've received free drinks at happy hour and free buffet breakfast. I'd rather stay at a Days Inn or Best Western where we would be clear what we're getting. No way this is 3 1/2 stars.
Pros: It was in a nice location near bushkill falls.
Cons: The room needed maintenance, with peeling paint, and honestly for a premium hotel in the area, it was only at Days Inn level of fit and finish. Common areas, hallways and stairways seemed worn and not really maintained.
Pros: Close to area attractions. Restaurant was very good.
Cons: The room was supposed to have a microwave in it (which we needed) and it didn't. I spoke to the front desk twice and both times was told they would bring one and they never did.
When visiting Bushkill, Bushkill Inn and Conference Center is a great choice to consider. Guests can indulge in massages, body wraps, or body scrubs, and The Steakhouse, one of 2 restaurants, serves American cuisine and is open for dinner. 2 bars/lounges and an indoor pool are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like iPod docks, bathrobes, and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
