nice food,room and location.
The hotel was very welcoming and the staff extremely helpful. I thought it was very good value for money.
the food was exceptional and would recommend to visit the restaurant. Very reasonably priced very basic, functional, clinical accomodation that lacked style. No teaspoons in room! Over-priced breakfast which was dearer than the 2 course evening meal!
NICE SURROUNDINGS STAFF WERE A BIT SLOW
Staff coudn't have been mpore helpful. Hotel set in lovely location. Worth every penny and would highly recommend. We will be staying again. Many thanks.
The staff were very good. The only drawback was that there was a wedding reception going on and we felt crowded out. There was nowhere else to go as hotel is in the countryside. The package was fair and good value.
Nice area and friendly staff - Reduced price was right for the facilities but at the full price would be expensive for the type of accommodation. No hair drier in the room.
Room was clean and well appointed, good breakfast helpfull staff, hassell free from check in to check out. evening meal menu limited and not particulaly tasty
The hotel was out of the main city and therefore a nice quiet location but close enough to york city center, that ment not too much travelling time spent travelling on out 2 days away.
Very near our friends whom we were visiting. Quiet location and well sound proofed rooms. Comfortable bed and good breakfast, made it good value for money. Nothing.
Lovely location in the market square. Friendly and helpful staff.Chilly bathroom. Imaginative evening menu poorly executed. Cheap and poor quality breakfast ingredients. Good wine menu.
Clean & comfortable room good facilities very obliging owners keen to make sure everthing was what needed. Check in not obvious, difficult to spot when you are travel weary 5ft 2in tall & the bar is full on a friday night! Better signs would be helpful.
central position price
We very much enjoyed our stay because of the congenial atmosphere, welcoming staff, the quality of service and the ideal location for us.
Reasonably comfortable and had everything needed. Access to rooms outside; slight damp smell. My son in Room 16 unable to get hot water.
Friendly and efficient staff. The hotel provided exactly what it said it would provide; no aditional charges
Management were polite and courteous. Some of the furnishings could be updated.
We liked the cottage feeling and it was welcoming Nothing to dislike
Small and quaint, peaceful and relaxed. Good food and good beer.
The Worsley Arms is ideally situated for where we wanted to be during a short break in Yorkshire.
The staff were lovely and breakfast was nice. We were given a room with a broken window that was also very cold. Didn't expect this in a 3* hotel.
The warm and friendly atmosphere. The village where it is situated was stunning. Food in restaurant was great and the service by staff was second to none Decor in bedrooms a little "tired". Our carpet had bad stains which could have easily been cleaned and paintwork and tiling needed attention. Otherwise a lovely stay
Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent evening meal. Being a small hotel everything was more personal. The breakfast was not of the same standard as the evening meal and felt this let the hotel down.
quiet area no
Central, welcoming, relaxing
The individuality of the rooms and dining areas. Very comfortable bed. Some traffic noise
It was convenient for the area, and was available at short notice There was nothing to actively dislike
breakfast was good The room was not what was described on your web site, had a nausea smell made my partner uncomfortable ,paint or heating oil i think .Room 16 on the green ,cleanliness not good ! damp in the bathroom needs updating not worth the price need to describe on web site that rooms are very small .More B and B than hotel will not be staying again
The attention of all the staff. We arrived in very cold weather and each night hot water bottles were placed in our beds. The food was excellent. Only a small point did suggest to the management that they consider installing bath hand rails. Climbing in and out of a bath, especially when elderly can be difficult and dangerous.
