Pros. Breakfast was great, although to eat in your room you get charged $5/plate, But the Dining room was big, had a pretty view, as did the room. It was great for a 2 night stay with a 2 and 3 year old- clean and kid friendly, all cords were tied back and out of the way, thank goodness!
Cons. The noise! there was some get-together out in one of the cabins, lots of bass-y music and hoots n' hollers. If you've got enough money to spend, they'll let you party until 3-4 am! i know at least 4 others complained to the front desk between 9-11:30 pm and the noise never stopped. I wish all guests would be treated fairly, i know if my kids kept others from sleeping, it wouldn't have been tolerated.
Pros. I liked that when my girlfriend had left her sex toy the person on duty was professional and called to notify me and ask if I could return for it or for an address to mail it to. Of course I returned for it....with a smile and a thank you.
Cons. I wasn't able to get to know the maid on a more personal level. I was inclined to tip her for prompt and competent service.
Pros. Pretty much everything was cool about oyster bay. Staff is friendly, breakfast is awesome, pretty much everything is good here.
Cons. The need for additional cash deposit on top of my visa booking/payment online. Very inconvenient. Was not happy with this.
