Pros: location is perfect. right in downtown area. walk to most restaurants and shops. cozy rooms. nice breakfast. friendly staff.
Cons: parking can be a challenge. i wish they offered a dinner as its hard to get in the restaurants on weekends. the wine and cheese is not very good. id rather pay for it and have better wine.
Pros: The staff and amenities were really nice. I loved the happy hour and breakfast in the morning. So warm and welcoming.
Pros: Staff was great. Brunch and wine and cheese at night was excellent.
Pros: The hotel staff were top notch! They make customer service a priority!! We loved the location, breakfast and 5pm cheese & wine social hour. Perfect for a couples weekend away! We definitely plan on returning to this B&B!!
Pros: I look forward to returning to the Washington House.
Pros: Some hotels I will say that if I'm ever back in the area, I would stay in this hotel again. For the Washington House Inn, I think I will go out of my way to come back to return. It was a historic hotel with a cozy bed and breakfast feel. Loved it!
This old hotel was very nice with a lot of history.
Pros: People were very friendly! We enjoyed the wine and cheese hour in the evening and the full breakfast was a nice surprise in the morning!
Perfect weekend getaway in the Midwest. The staff was very friendly and helpful and all of the accommodations were top notch.
Pros: The town was really great and made for a low-key and relaxing weekend.
Located in a quaint shopping district, you will find plenty of parking with two adjacent lots, experience friendly service from the moment you walk in, be greeted with a cheese and wine tasting from local purveyors and find a lovely room with a personal, handwritten greeting and crisp bathrobes. Many suites have a fireplace and/or whirlpool, with options for adding in-room chocolate and wine service and other sweet touches. There is 24 hours service, however you will receive a key to the inn along with your room key. Breakfast is lovely and a mix between standard continental fare and a fresh, hot strata of the day. Nice selection of fresh squeezed juices, plenty of fresh fruit and delicious coffee, but their famous baked goods are a must! The dining area also houses a fireplace and antique linens. Friends of guests may enjoy breakfast at the inn as well for a fee.
Pros: A very charming and welcoming experience that is so refreshing compared to the sterile, run-of-the-mill hotel. The personal touches like handwritten welcome note and crisp bathrobes were a treat. The
Cons: The style is vintage in a 'staying with the grandparents' kind of way, which may not be to everyone's taste, but we thought it was charming.
Washington House Inn is a great choice for a stay in Cedarburg. Free perks include continental breakfast and WiFi.
Cons: Door were very heavy and loud when closing.
Odd bathroom door design, tough for privacy with a family.
Omlets were good, but staff could not keep up with demand. Either offer them and keep up or don't offer them.

Pros: Ask me what I didn't like I loved everything
Pros: I do like the atmosphere and location of this hotel.
Cons: They forgot to freshen up our room. We came back after being out for the day to find the bed not made and no fresh Towels.
Pros: The Club option is nice...quite a refuge from a horrible room.
Cons: Couldn't check in until 5:00 despite the 3:00PM check in time. Tub and sink had hair in them. Bedding was ripped.
Pros: Beautiful hotel with tons of character and charm. Good service, friendly staff, comfortable accommodations. Hotel lobby bar and Blu were excellent. Complimentary breakfast in the Cafe offered good food and full choice of anything on menu. Onsite amenities such as spa, shops and additional restaurants offer an extra touch.
Cons: For the price of the rooms, wifi was not free. Given the necessity in today's day and age, not to mention that it is complimentary in many more basic hotels, this was a big let down. Especially when service in the tower is spotty for mobile without Wifi. It felt like a nickeled and dimes amenity. Clientele felt a bit uppity.
Pros: We booked a last-minute room at the Pfister and loved our stay from start to finish. The room was beautiful and clean with a great view, service was stellar, and the location could hardly be improved. It doesn't hurt that the hotel is where we stayed after getting engaged! Great experience and we will definitely stay again next time we're in Milwaukee.
Cons: Pretty much perfect.
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel
Cons: We had the $200 room. No fridge or extra sink. I thought it was a little lacking for a luxury hotel. I guess we should of upgraded.
Pros: Old school charm and service
Cons: The decor, the people and the vibe.
Pros: Beautiful historic hotel. Comfortable, clean and we enjoyed our stay.
Pros: Loved the ambience in the lobby. The room we stayed in was clean with a great view is the lake.
Cons: Have to pay for wifi in this current age of free WiFi everywhere.
Pros: The hotel is clean, excellent amenities, friendly staff and good good location. I'd stay again and recommend it to others.
Pros: Amazing hotel. Everything was 5 star.
Pros: It was great, and the spa was excellent. The view was good from the room.
Cons: Was surprised Internet was not complimentary.

Pros: The Iron Horse Hotel has a very industrial, contemporary decor that is AMAZING! Every detail is considered!!
Pros: Whole experience from check in to check out was incredible. Rooms were very large, extremely comfortable, well appointed and stocked. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive to all of our requests
Pros: My wife and I stayed at the Iron Horse Hotel for a short weekend getaway from Chicago. We loved the hotel. The food at Smyth was great; don't miss the goat cheese appetizer and pork belly. The bar was also a really nice touch; the decor was all dark leather/wood and the cocktails were great. The staff for the entire hotel were some of the best I have seen and I stay in hotels 3-4 nights a week for business.
Cons: The only reason I gave the hotel 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the dog policy. We live in a high-rise in downtown Chicago that allows dogs, so we weren't expecting to be bothered by a little noise. However, there were multiple occasions when dogs would be crying and howling (most likely from being left alone in an unfamiliar room) early in the morning and late at night. This wasn't the best for our romantic weekend away, but wouldn't stop me from visiting the Iron Horse Hotel in the future.
Pros: I stay in hotels all over the country and this place was one of a kind. If you like motorcycles, staying here is a no brainer. You're a short walk away from the HD Museum and the feel and decor of the hotel has a rugged-modern vibe. I didn't get a chance to hang out at the bar but it looked like like a upbeat scene. Their signature restaurant was excellent.
Cons: That I didn't have my Harley with me!
Pros: comfortable bed and great shower. excellent location for getting about town.
Located in Fifth Ward, this romantic hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Great Lakes Distillery and BMO Harris Bradley Center. Milwaukee Art Museum and Discovery World are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Pros: Staff was amazingly helpful. Simply over the top! Took a real interest in making sure they met all of our needs. Remembered who we were. Said hello every time we walked in the front door.
Pros: Loved the view, high ceilings, comfortable bed, room/suite size
Pros: The room and hotel was great looking and modern and the area was amazing!
Cons: The bests were a little too firm and stuff, the pull out sofa had a bar that went right where your back would be so keeping it folded up was more comfortable for my friend. The breakfast had potential but the eggs were extremely watery
Cons: They overbooked us so we were moved to a different hotel that was less convenient. Not a great experience but it could have been worse.
Cons: The hotel cancelled our reservation an hour before we were set to arrive, and this is after we received a reservation confirmation that morning. We were left scrambling to make alternate arrangements at the last minute and while on the road.
Pros: Room was comfortable and large. Location was great.
Cons: Was told breakfast ended at 9, at check in we were told it ended at 10. Minor inconvenience.
Pros: We liked the river being so close so we could go outside and sit on the benches there along the Walk. It was easier to walk to the events we were attending because the Residence Inn was located close enough to them. The Staff was friendly and professional and helpful. The AC was excellent!
Cons: The sofa bed was so rough on my cousin's back he was very sore the next morning. There were never enough towels so we had to ask for them several times and for the money we paid to stay there, the towels were thin, very non absorbent and rough on the skin. There weren't even any toiletries provided that even the cheap hotels have in their rooms! When the cleaning person came in, she/he removed the dirty glasses and cups in the sink and never brought any back. We actually would have preferred to NOT have the cleaning crew come in. We kept the room fairly cleaned up and could always call for whatever we needed. One bottle of water, a bottle of soda and a bag of chips cost $8 at the hotel desk so bring your own drinks and munchies!!

Pros: The size of the room was a pleasant surprise and the choices for breakfast were above average. We will definitely use this location again when we are in the area.
Pros: We had the most comfortable mattresses! It was the first time I woke up in a hotel room 'without' a back-ache.
Pros: The location, breakfast. Nice rooms.
Cons: Spot on bedspread
Pros: The hotel was very quiet.
Pros: Nice folks
Pros: after calling and requesting a consideration for a room for my elderly father- they met my request
Pros: convenience to business location.
Cons: breakfast was free but not great. Eggs dry. Other stuff not so good.
we have nothing to complain about. hotel was much better than we expected
Pros: rooms had everything we needed and breakfast was very good
Cons: only vacuuming could have been better
Pros: The breakfast buffet was excellent. There's a steak restaurant across the parking lot.
Cons: Love everything about this hotel!
The hotel was clean. Front desk staff was courteous. We were given a room up on 4th floor which proved to be very quiet (other parents traveling with our soccer group were not so lucky). Breakfast was adequate and check out was quick. We would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Although we were traveling with a large group of soccer players, the front desk staff gave us a room on a different floor, so our room was very quiet compared to those on the other floors that we talked to.
Cons: I paid too much for the room & the elevator was broken For 2 days. I was on 3rd floor & did not have help with luggage. Wish I could have received credit for overpayment.
This hotel provides excellent access to Milwaukee and the West End. Quiet, spacious, comfortable rooms. Excellent hot bkfst. At a PLine price, this was an exceptional deal.
Pros: It;'s location suited our needs well. Very Quiet to outside noise.
Cons: Nope. We're hoping we can get them again on P Line.

Pros: The staff is very friendly! Always going above and beyond to help. The airport is literally within walking distance. Prices were reasonable for downtown Milwaukee
Cons: The pillows on the bed are not comfortable. They could really be upgraded/replaced
Pros: Great breakfast and excellent customer service.
Pros: Excellent shower, best pillows of any hotel, great bed. Appreciated the many good breakfast choices.
Cons: Very limited food choices in bar.
Cons: We booked the room at the Hyatt because it was only a few dollars more than the Super 8 with park & fly included. We got in late that night after a 6 hour drive only to be told that we weren't allowed to use the park & fly because we had booked with Kayak. No advance warning, just a "you're not good enough for us so figure out where you're going to park before you have to be to the airport for 5:15 am." We had prepaid so we weren't even able to leave & go to the Super 8. Never again & we're going to warn everyone we possibly can.
Pros: Clean, convenient
Cons: The early evening staff needs to remember to advise travelers to call once they have landed to have the shuttle come pick them up.
Hyatt Place Milwaukee Airport offers spacious guest rooms that feature contemporary decor with stylish furnishings including the Hyatt Grand bed, state-of-the-art media and work center with a high-definition 42 inch flat panel TV.
Pros: Didn't get to stay there due to them overbooking and then rebooking me in another hotel just 10 mins before I arrived.
Cons: Didn't get to stay there due to them overbooking and then rebooking me in another hotel just 10 mins before I arrived.
Pros: The staff was great, hotel was clean and comfortable, easy access from the interstate. Jackson from house keeping went out of the way to make things right, he was wonderful!
Cons: While everything was clean, there were several places the carpeting was torn and pulling up, and there were no refrigerators in the rooms, when I asked, I was told they have a few that could be rented, but none were available....has been a long time since I have stayed in a hotel without one, was very surprised that a hotel of this "stature" would not have them...plenty of space available in the room...
Pros: My daughter loved the complimentary spa items; I hated them because I hate essential oils. ImpressI've hotel for the price.
Cons: When we arrived around 12:30pm Wednesday there was a room service tray outside of a door down the hall. Thursday morning it was still there, and the strawberry was so fuzzy with mold, I have to believe it had been there for days. It was gone by Thursday afternoon, however. The hall always seemed to be cluttered with housekeeping carts, and doors were left open to staff-only rooms that probably shouldn't have been open.
Pros: Good value. Good matress.
Cons: No closet, small wardrobe.
Pros: Rooms were clean and hotel is great for getting shuttled to and from Miller Park, the Zoo, and any other attraction within a 5 mile radius.
Cons: The shuttle service took too long to come and get us from the zoo. We were told it would only take 15 minutes. We called 20 minutes before we would be ready and the shuttle came 1 hour and 45 minutes later. So just call the shuttle plenty of time earlier than you need it to be safe.
Cons: No refrigerator in room or microwave
Pros: They were there when we arrived.
Cons: I questioned about a second night reservation and thought we had a nights stay reserved. When we returned the following night we found we did not have a reservation and that the second night would be much more costly than the first. We stayed elsewhere!!
Pros: Good location. Clean. Comfortable room. Staff was nice.

Pros: comfy bed and pillows
lots of towels
Cons: popcorn ceiling
lack of shower tub(?)
remote didn't work (sometimes)
no free parking ($20 valet)
Pros: Walkable distance to shopping and restaurants, and other downtown attractions. Breakfast buffet at the hotel was delicious!
Pros: Clean, comfortable beds, room amenities, very polite and friendly staff
Cons: Only negative is a mandatory 20 dollar per night valet fee, but that may be standard for the downtown
Pros: The valet attendants were wonderful. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants, remembered us as we grabbed our car multiple times, and were quick with getting the car. We were there for the Hal marathon and one of the attendants probably saw as many miles as we did getting the unusual line of people's cars at 6 a.m. He kept his smile on and joked around as he left multiple times to get cars.
Pros: The staff and facility were first class and made our stay most enjoyable.

Pros: The care in reservation requests, comfort, great staff, cleanliness--all were great. And quietness of the rooms. We will be returning.
Pros: I gave it five stars because they wouldn't let me give it six!
Cons: I would be hard-pressed to find anything I didn't like about this place.
We had one mechanical issue in the room which was taken care of very promptly. Awesome service by Tim and the rest of the maintenance crew.
Pros: Staff was extremely nice

Pros: It's a nice hotel for around $100...Our '2-queen-beds' room was clean, modern, beds/pillows were comfy enough. Had a flat screen tv, alarm clock, microwave and a good size mini refrigerator...(pretty sure it had an iron/ironing board and hair blow drier...didn't use, so it escapes my memory!--I'm sure their website would state if it does). Didn't notice traffic noise at all.
Had a good, hot breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, muffins, pastries, fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, milk, juice, coffee...). Staff came in to replenish food that was running low.
Had a very nice pool and hot tub and it was open til midnight. (Both times we stayed here, our family had the pool area all to ourselves!)
Had a workout center (didn't use though).
Staff was courteous and friendly.
We would stay again!
Cons: Only minor complaint was that our room could have had a light by door/closet area...too hard to see well at night when trying to look at clothes in closet...during daytime, light was just fine (with curtains open).

Cons: The only issue I had was with the bathroom, the door had a huge gap at the bottom and no lock, the toilet looked like it was out of a public bathroom, and the the shower pressure was deplorable that it made showering challenging and long.
Pros: Great stay! Thanks Dan for the great service!!
The fitness center was good-I wished there was a lap pool.
Cons: The computers in the business center were slow and hard to get into the internet at times.
Pros: Ambiance and location were great. The corner room on the 15th floor had a great view.
Cons: Elevators could be quicker.
Pros: Everything was very clean and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: Expensive parking. Could've parked somewhere else in the city for much cheaper. There were a lot of business people there and no family attractions such as a pool.

Pros: The room was recently updated and the set up was great.
Cons: The fridge wasn't working and there was actually some old half drank water bottle in it. And no ice machines on floor.
Pros: Friendly staff, great selection of food in the lobby.
Cons: There was no hot tub, only a pool.
Cons: There basically is no room. You feel cramped from the moment you arrive and realize you cannot pull up to the door and cannot park. Very casual staff. Maybe the 30 year olds like things this way. We do not. We will not be back.
Pros: The showers are nice.
Cons: The blinds are really poor. You need thicker blinds to keep the light out.
You can't keep the blinds open and expect to have any sort of privacy.
The door from the shower to the rest of the room does not seal, so coming out of the shower is freezing.
The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING from surrounding rooms.
They say the mattresses are firm. There are not firm.
Pros: Courteous staff, great decor, and clean room.
Cons: The amount of endless noise in the hallway ALL night. Several parties were screaming from outside to someone staying on our floor.
Pros: I liked that it was near a lit of fun bars and restaurants. I also thought it was fun and had a very cool look to it!
Cons: Beds we a little hard.
Pros: Cool rooms
Cons: Kinda dirty guys. House keeping woke me up and I had already called for late check out. Not cool
Pros: Loved the design, decor and features. Hip & modern without the overkill. Comfortable beds and spotless rooms.
Pros: Friendly staff, modern and comfortable accommodations, free water in the room. Great location, valet parking was mid-priced at $25 per day. We chose Aloft because I've stayed at the properties in other cities and had a similarly pleasant experience. And we had to find a place with a swimming pool. Aloft ion Milwaukee is well worth it.
Cons: not much to dislike as we stayed for one night and the experience was very good.
Pros: The location is excellent, great views of the river and right next to the river walk. Within walking distance to some really great restaurants. Quiet, and the room was very comfortable!
Cons: No parking lot, so you either pay to park or pay for valet service. Also, no free breakfast so we had to pay almost $30 just to eat breakfast.
Pros: Location was close to everything including an awesome row of bars. The rooms were nice and spacious and the staff was friendly.
Cons: Parking is limited to pretty much only valet but they were at least quick in getting the car. The biggest issue is noise. I could hear the people in the room next to ours having conversations without any difficulty. This place was popular with bachelor and bachelorette parties which meant the noise at night was extremely loud and went into the early morning.
Pros: The staff was friendly. The property was awesomely located. The place was clean. Everyone was on board to help and make sure people enjoyed their stay.
Cons: The honest to goodness only issue that I had throughout my entire stay was the wifi kept crashing on me. Other than that it was perfect.

Cons: Our room was disgusting and dirty. There was something I the carpet that was red and bubbly. The couch was horrible and flat. The room smelled old and moldy. also saw the cleaning ladies clipboard as we walked out of our room and it said the room next to ours was "bed bug city".
Pros: -Availability of gym and pool
-internet access (good speed)
Cons: -unable to control room temp for 5 of 6 nights there (could not make warmer)
-no newspaper available as advertised
-whirlpool tiles not so clean
-older equipment in gym
Pros: Front desk staff were excellent, shuttle to ball game
Cons: Housekeeping did a poor job

Pros: The staff at the hotel were amazingly friendly, helpful, and seemed to truly care if we enjoyed our stay. A gentlemen name Lamont, allowed my 7 year old niece and I enjoy the pool an extra half hour after closing time. Most staff got to know my niece and I were staying there for a few days just the two of us while her parent worked, they live in Milwaukee and I was visiting from Colorado. A nice gal at the front even asked about our Geocache searches etc. Food was fabulous as well!
Cons: I really wouldn't change anything it was right on!
Pros: The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the shuttle service was easy to use.
Cons: Breakfast not included
Pros: The room set up was nice the bed and pillows very comfy. The bathroom was nice and clean. Hotel adequate for quick 1 night stay in an emergency.
Cons: Hotel is not downtown as claimed. Riverfront view deceiving per website pictures. The pool was 3.9 ft and staff I asked didn't even know they had a pool. Fitness room not open. Room trash can was not emptied. Only saw one staff member explain amenities hotel had to offer. When asked about hotel amenities was instructed its was a brochure in room this was not the case. No microwaves in room or hotel period. Even for a sale price of $100 a night not worth the stay should have been a $60 a night rate. Will not stay again pictures and description of hotel not accurate. Look elsewhere if you want to swim, be in the actual downtown area, warm up food and knowledgeable staff.
Pros: The hotel is being renovated and you were forced to walk through the area bring worked on and the only ones without Hard hats were the guests.
Cons: Having to walk through a construction zone is dangerously. The hotel should have been shut down during this portion of the renovation
Cons: Major major renovations. Initially thought it was closed. Could not find the lobby easily. Restaurant closed. Construction started early; luckily I was already awake and ends late. Had to walk through construction site. Guy with propane torch on ladder right above my head as I was leaving. The construction job would have been shut down if in Califiornia. Hotel should be shut down or they should give out construction helmets to guests.
Pros: The view from my room was spectacular due to all the fall colors along the river and from the Anchorage for dinner. The bed was fantastic, and on par with a Hilton regular traveler, so it was nice to see this location has kept those amazing beds. Hopefully their renovations don't change that. I had a King room, and it was spacious. The restroom is the only part that needed true attention. The hallway noise is notable, and the walls are typical of most places in that you can hear most noises above a conversation level. The facility is undergoing a major renovation, and I was privvy to enjoy one of the last meals available from the Anchorage. My waiter/bartender Brian was FANTASTIC and a wealth of information for local attractions and the man truly knows his alcohol...I'll probably return there after the renovations are completed just to see what they did with removing the beautiful fish tank and that amazing brass bar rail with the elephants. I felt the room charge was okay, and fully expect it will be more when I return. Hopefully the renovations will make it worth it and that Brian will still be working there for dinner/bar service! Great location...
Pros: Although the hotel is under renovation, the guest rooms on three of the floors were not affected. I thought the room was clean and comfortable, and there was ample parking. I would stay there again.
Pros: Room was clean and hotel was generally quiet.
Cons: Claimed that a data entry or data transmission error from Kayak or Booking.com caused the loss of our reservation. It took more than 15 minutes to find and correct the error while we waited. The entire first floor is under construction, including entryway, lobby and hallways. Patio was closed except for lunch and dinner.

Cons: The breakfast left something to be desired, the beds were rather hard, and the parking was bad especially when they let the buses and truck take all the car parking

Pros: Nice updated room.
Cons: Meager breakfast. It would be nice to upgrade the offerings.
Pros: good location for our needs. staff was very helpful and friendly
Pros: Location, amenities, service!
