They went above and beyond. We dropped the van off 20 minutes before they closed. We left and we realized about 2 minutes until your office closed that my granddaughter forgot her wallet, we called and Chris checked the vehicle and called us back and said it was there and waited until we got back there so we could pick her wallet up, I was dropping her off at the train station and she needed her ID. Nobody was working the budget counter at the airport the night before my reservation… I drove there and received no help. I just wanted to make sure my one way car rental in the morning was all in order. I arrived at 8am when my reservation was booked for and nobody was there. Airport employees said “they might be in around 9…or 10…”. That was unacceptable. I had to make other arrangements, which concluded with me having to pay a $50 fee to hertz to cancel a one-way car rental home. Pick up was a bit of a hassle since there was only one employee and he was out servicing a car during our pickup time. We had to wait about 30 mins for him to come back to the desk. The car we rented was nice but it was dirty and filled with animal hair. I am allergic so I had a reaction in the car. I notified the drop of agent but they were in a hurry. Pricing was fair but due to the animal fur and cleanliness of the car I was disappointed with the rental.Reviewed Jan 1 2022

I booked with the flight times and when I would pick up the car. The time listed was 5 pm which is when the counter was closing. I arrived early only to find they close at 4 and I could not get the car I paid for. I was extremely lucky to find a car at another company as it was the last at that location not booked. I had to pay a high fee to get that and so far have not been refunded the car I booked here. Never will use this service again!Reviewed Aug 5 2021

Cons:The experience started pretty rough. There was only one guy working so he ended up being about 45 minutes late opening. Pretty sure he was checking cars, mileage, fuel etc. However myself along with five other customers were not aware of this until later. Parking Lot Employee Needs Further TrainingPros:It's a small, regional airport, so there was no line when checking in and returning. About 15 minutes after returning the vehicle, I realized that I had left a jacket in the back seat of the car. The employee was able to give me a special remote (no key attached) in order to go back to the vehicle to get it out of the car. Responsive to my needs - see the what I didn't like summary.Cons:I was told the car was in a particular spot in the parking lot; however, after searching around, I ended up finding the car still parked in the "return" area. The car still had some trash in it from the previous renter, which I had to clean up. Upon starting the vehicle, I found that the gas tank was at 3/8 of a tank only, but the tank should have been full. I had to go back into the airport to the Budget (Avis) counter where the employee walked outside with me and directed another employee (a young man working in the parking lot area) to follow me to a gas station so he could fill the tank for me. The counter employee commented that someone was not doing their job and it shouldn't be that hard. Obviously, the car had not been "processed" properly upon being returned from the previous renter, which cost me about 30 extra minutes. Luckily, there were no mechanical issues with the car - I had no further problems.Reviewed Sep 25 2017

Best Price but nothing fancyPros:Very affordable. Easy to book. Fast check in and drop off. Very friendly staff (Avis counter). Didn't pressure me on add-ons. Found someone's beef jerky bag between the seats. Still had some left so bonus for me.Cons:Had to check in at Avis counter but no big deal. Pros:People at counter were nice.Cons:The car was the worst I've rented in years. Very uncomfortable and couldn't adjust seats. A/C was mediocre. Car had big burn in seat and smelled strongly of disinfectant. Also, didn't tell me that I could only extend my previous car certain # of times plus the $10 admin fee per day of extension, so had to drive 40 miles 1-way to turn in my decent car and pick up this disaster.Reviewed Jul 4 2016
