The pick up was disappointing at Budget. It took 2 hours past our pick up time for the car to be ready. About 20 people had to wait 2-2.5 hours. Some people missed important events and many were very angry. Not a good experience. The drop off was fine so it brought the score up to mediocre.Reviewed Jun 2 2026

Dear Customer Service, Upon arrival, the location did not have the vehicle I originally reserved available. Additionally, the vehicle I was provided was filthy and had a very strong smoke odor, making the experience extremely unpleasant. I contacted Budget Customer Care approximately 3 to 4 times seeking assistance and resolution. Unfortunately, I was repeatedly given the runaround and inconsistent guidance, with no meaningful support or resolution offered. I am highly disappointed in the lack of customer service and overall experience. As a paying customer, I expected a clean vehicle, proper accommodation of my reservation, and professional assistance when concerns were raised. Everything was great EXCEPT that the car reeked—as if they’d used a whole can of air “freshener” to cover something up. It was so strong I had to drive with windows down even on the freeway so my asthma would not be triggered. Awful.Reviewed Jun 1 2026

I returned the car when I was supposed to. Three days later I get a text asking when I'm going to return the car. I call them and they say I never returned it. Now I'm having to jump through hoops trying to prove I returned it to them. How do you lose a car that is in airport parking lot!??!!?
