I arrived at Indianapolis Airport, went to pick up the kiosk, and it took a long time to complete the process. That's not the part that disappointed me. I was supposed to have a medium SUV, had none at the moment, and they offered me a 7-passenger van, ABSOLUTELY not. Said would be a few, and that they would have an SUV cleaned and ready. 1st SUV, kicked back, not available due to a safety recall. (Great catch on safety issue) Then offered me a GMC Terrain, ok. Now, to pick up the point, several others awaiting their vehicle waited patiently, but then no Terrain came out. Attendant asks. What am I waiting for?" The GMC Terrain he checked didn't see anything coming, and offered me a GMC Sierra Pickup. I'm fine with that, but I'm not paying extra. This is your issue, not mine. Attendant then said, "Oh, no, you will pay the same price, and I'll take a day rental off your charge. I said OK, got in the vehicle, drove off, and had a wonderful rental and time in Indy. I went to drop off at the end of the visit and was told by the attendant that I would receive an email with the receipt. I am still waiting for the email. Found a copy of the receipt in my Kayak account, and seems no discount was given to me. Very Disappointing.Reviewed Apr 27 2026

I attempted to rent a car using Kayak. Pick up was scheduled for 3pm. I received a call from budget at 1pm stating that they were overbooked and that they may have a car at 6pm. While inconvenient, I agreed to pick up at 6 instead of 3. I ask if they would definitely have a car by 6 if I waited m, he said no, not a guarantee since they were overbooked. Our vehicle was fine, however I prepaid online and was not shown any paperwork or screens at check in. Upon checkout in the parking lot, I get a bill texted to me with an extra $200 in charges I never agreed to. I will never rent with Budget again.Reviewed Apr 27 2026
