First time renting with Budget. The Tacoma location of Budget/Avis has good staff, they were very helpful with any questions or concerns I had. I rented the car for 7 days, and added 1 extra day that was $75 because of daily rate plus the Insurance that covers total loss/theft/vandalism etc. I used my debit card and they placed a $200 hold. In closing it was good. I would definitely rent a car with the Tacoma Budget/Avis location again.Reviewed Mar 6 2026

The drop off was very fast. No time wasted if you are in a hurry for your flight. The prices are the cheapest for renting a car. The line may be a little long for renting, but it’s worth the money saved. Fast track is the fastest way to go!Reviewed Mar 6 2026

Location was great. I didn't like the choice I had for a car. Only had a hybrid for our reservation. Didn't want a hybrid. Hybrids drive like an electric car. Dramatic deceleration with hybrids and this makes my wife carsick. Was hoping for another choice but none available.Reviewed Mar 5 2026

Absolutely terrible. There was a line of about 100 people at the Budget office and maybe 15 people in line for the Avis office that shared the same space. The person at the desk was only helping the Avis customers so the Budget line never moved. People were getting fed up and yelling. I waited over an hour before deciding it wasn't worth my time and just Uber'ed around the rest of my trip.Reviewed Mar 4 2026
