The moron at the budget counter ran my card twice without telling me, which led to it being declined twice for fraud detection. He didn’t allow me to talk to my bank and tell them that i was traveling before running the card a second time, which resulted in me not getting a car at all. It was midnight and all other car rental places were closed at that point. I then had to uber and hitchhike to my friends wedding. A disaster. Never using budget again.Reviewed Nov 8 2021

Pros:That it was in airport pickup.Cons:They told me my reservation had been cancelled a few days before my arrival but couldn't tell me who had done it or why. It wasn't done by me or Expedia. It took an hour to get it straightened out, they wouldn't give me my car at the contracted price and they didn't have the car I ordered.Reviewed Jul 8 2019

Pros:Friendly staff, good follow through on complaint.Cons:We got an upgrade at the counter but the brand new Honda pilots did not have functioning air conditioning.. staff was understanding but could not refund our upgrade as requested. Started wellPros:Counter help was great in Sioux Falls.Cons:First car had super strong smoke smell. Second was just faint. Annoying, but we had a funeral to go to. Major gripe was on return. Flights were cancelled and to get home we needed an alternate airport. Cost us a six-fold increase in price despite returning only two hours late. Felt we we had insult added to injury.
