Cons: No baggage space in overheads. Despite being in an early boarding group
Cons: 40 minute flight delay and my luggage was lost/stolen.
Cons: A quick drink service would have been nice, it was provided on the same flight going the opposite direction
Cons: 100% as always.. delta has never disappointed! Keep up the good work guys
Cons: Delta.... they’rrrrrr Grrrreaaate!
Pros: The crews were super accommodating and my seat was so comfortable I actually feel asleep which is something I have never done on a plane before.
Cons: Load the plane from back to front. It makes sense as people leave the plane from front to back
Pros: Most of the crew was great with the exception of curbside check-in in Denver.
Cons: Curbside needs to stop chasing cash tips and do their jobs. If they focused on that tips would be easy to come by. The curbside attendant that took my bag didn’t even bother to check my id. He asked me my name and asked where my destination was. I told him Cincinnati as a layover then LaGuardia where he said that was wrong. He then proceeded to print a boarding pass that wasn’t mine and load my bag into the conveyor. Not 5 mins go by when I realize what happened I wound up having to go to special services to rectify the situation. Which ultimately consisted of me waiting another hour in LaGuardia to get my bag. Please delta have these curbside handlers actually want to do their job and stop chasing cash tips.
Pros: Crew was very pleasant. Boarding and deplaning was smooth and easy!
Pros: Crew was friendly and efficient.
Cons: Idk terrible flight experience with delta
Pros: I think Delta is upping its game, and I’m pleased to see that. Almonds for snacks, phone info about the state of your checked bags—good stuff.
Cons: Of course the seat was not “super comfortable,” but whe you pick Economy, you know that.
Pros: Availability of WiFi, a charging port and media options puts Delta a step (or two) ahead of their competitors. The professionalism of the crew, as well as the complimentary food/beverage options are also excellent.
Cons: Not the airlines fault, but my 6’4” frame doesn’t fit very well in a middle main cabin seat.
Pros: In flight entertainment
Cons: Food provided, other than snacks, would be a plus
Cons: Delayed 4 hours
Pros: Quick flight...ahead of schedule
Cons: Cheese It’s are boring...miss the snack mix
Cons: Have rhe right to carry at least one luggage per person at no cost. Besides carry on and personal item. Tickets prices and luggage costs are extremely expensive.
Cons: Seats are so small. Flight was delayed.
Pros: Staff from Check in to aircraft very pleasant. Snack choice in Coach impressive.
Cons: I bought a ticket thinking i bought it through kayak but I actually bought a ticket through a third party in India. Where no one spoke good English. I called the agency to find out if I needed a Visa for my visit to Australia and the told me no. So when I showed up to the airport I didn’t have the right documents and I MISSED MY FLIGHT. Also the wouldn’t just change my flight and charge me the change flight fee. They cancelled my flight entirely and made me buy a whole new ticket!!! Worst flight experience I’ve ever had and this is not my first time flying to Australia or out of country.
Pros: Friendly cabin crew. Early am departure. On board entertainment is a great selection of movies/TV etc. Clean aircraft. Comfortable seating. Great flight.
Pros: Food and entertainment was good
Cons: The bathroom I used was disgusting.
Pros: Check in Denver super helpful Gate staff hustled to turn around flight Flight crew excellent
Cons: Flight delayed, almost missed international connections
Cons: Frontier canceled the flight. Delta delayed the flight that I rescheduled. One of the worst traveling experiences I have had in a long time. My day started at 3:30am. I’m just now going to my hotel at 12:40 am
Pros: Gate crew in DEN provided free refreshments at the gate during a 2+ hour flight delay.
Cons: The aircraft used for this flight comes from LGA as part of an out-and-back. Delays can be expected if there is an earlier departure delay in NYC. On 6/30, this aircraft was 2+ hours late while all other airlines (United, Southwest and Frontier) were all on-time.
Pros: People were great
Cons: Air vents and the side of aircraft felt like it was loose and falling off.
Cons: Was unclear which zone was boarding. Legroom was comprised when passenger in immediate row ahead reclined seat early in flight.
Pros: The fact that there was a screen for movie selections and a charging port for my phone and the flight attendants were super nice
Cons: Bags never arrived at the listed baggage claim. After 45 min, I saw bags on a different claim station and I notified everyone standing around. BUT, I filed a claim with Delta and was immediately given 2500 miles, as guaranteed!
Pros: Great people and crew early arrival nice passengers
Pros: Delta is great
Cons: Poor Delta DEN counter agent experience. Name on ticket didnt match Delta profile name nor TSA [rofile name. Delta counter agent would do nothing, except blame TSA. Would not check ticket name vs profile name. Happened two consecutive flights. Flight tomorrow morning has no TSA Pre clearance on boarding pass. This will be three consecutive flights. Also seated me next to a person who needed 2 seats to himself. Please never seat me next to a passenger who cannot fit in their own seat. I am switching to SWA.
Pros: Crew was nice.
Cons: The Entertainment sucked. Again I was sitting in comfort class which in theory should buy you more comfort and better entertainment. There was a ton of movies from the 90s and the same movie selection from about 6 months ago when I traveled with them. Also, what is going on, with having to use your own cell phone to watch movies on the plane? Whatever happened to the screens in the backseat of the front seat? I ended up with neck pain from trying to watch a movie on my phone. Delta has become very cheap. It is going into some serious decline.
Cons: Let me just say that I’m a loyal Delta costumer until now. The flight attendants (the two women) were an absolute nightmare. They were so rude and condescending. I was carrying with me my service dog and a bag containing an expensive medication (it couldn’t go on the top bin). Despite being in the comfort class and having the seat next to me empty, we were tight for space. The flight attendants were unreasonable and forced me to put my medication on the top bin despite the fact I had told them it was extremely delicate, that it that to go upright, and that I needed to keep it with me. They did not listen and pressured me into giving them the medication. The medication could have easily gotten broken. Thankfully it didn’t but this is no way to treat a human being.
Pros: Ran smoothly, typical flight, everything was as to be expected. Everyone was polite and courteous.
Cons: Tight seats, boarding process was a bit lengthy, and we hit some turbulence (obviously beyond anyone's control). The pilot and crew handled it well.
Pros: Most comfortable flight I have taken in some time. Spacious seat, power, good entertaiment, attentive flight crew. On time. Not usually a Delta flier, but times and destination made Delta the choice. Turns out a great choice.
Pros: What a city.. Unique for hell sure...
Pros: Nothing. Delta is the worst. Delta is awful. Don't fly Delta.
Cons: I wouldn't know how our flight to Sioux Falls was. Delta left without us, after they made us late. We left DC late because of Delta's inefficient boarding process. We landed in Atlanta late. Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline.
Pros: Friendly Staff
Cons: Check in was very hectic due to limited staff and getting bumped by the red carpet flyers. Boarding is always a little congested due to the lines. Better snacks please!!
Pros: Food, crew, boarding
Cons: I had a screen in front of me that did not work. It was annoying. Fix it.
Cons: I fly Delta quite often, and am usually pleased with their service, but the morning of June 23 was terrible. I got to the airport in Denver at 5:30 am for a 7:30 am flight to Atlanta, and the line to check a bag was about 40 people long. I waited 55minutes to check my bag, as they kept moving the ski priority people, and people in danger of missing their flight, to the head of the line. There were obviously not enough Delta workers on staff to process all the flights at that time.
Pros: Everything else fine.
Cons: Made me check my bag - even though ther was plenty of overhead bin space.
Pros: I didn't like anything because the fly leat 3 hours
Pros: First we had a mechanical after boarding. I was rerouted through Atlanta. That flight is now delayed by 2hours. I then had to reroute to West Palm Beach instead of Ft Lauderdale. I will leave 9 hours after my original flight time and arrive 8 hours later. Just ridiculous
Cons: See above
Pros: The cabin crew serving the main cabin were exceptional. They were efficient, kind and FUN. We were an hour late leaving and 2/3 of the plane was worried about tight connections. They handled it with grace giving each person their departing gate and asking everyone to let a gentleman off with a 10 minute connection. They made the flight memorably enjoyable.
Cons: Being an hour late isn't ideal and I understand that it wasn't their fault (the plane was late arriving into Denver. Those things happen. They still goto people to Detroit in time to make connections--barely.
Cons: I drove 5 hours to get to the airport and unfortunately ended up delayed because of traffic and slow shuttles from parking. I arrived 1 hour before the flight, but security was so slow I didn't get to the gat until 10 minutes before arrival. There were no gate agents present and despite banging on the gateway door and other Delta agents at the adjacent gate, no one helped me. I can only surmise that they had already given away our seats, which were award tickets, GAINED BY BEING A LOYAL DELTA CUSTOMER. The gate agents were unapologetic and useless at rebooking, and I bought a ticket from Southwest instead. As i was trying to get to my sister's wedding, and repeatedly told the agents this, their behavior was particularly abominable. DELTA, YOU'VE LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER.
Cons: Seats too close - I'm not that tall and my knees were jammed against the seat in front of me.
Pros: Was able to get on a flight after ours was cancelled. Delta was in scramble mode and their gate staff worked hard ot deal with a frustrated flying populaiton
Cons: After paying for first class round trip airfare, we were given seats in coach in the rear of the plane, in spite of empty seats (plenty of them) in first class and economy comfort.
Pros: Plane was clean and staff were friendly
Cons: The snack options were quite average
Pros: Seats were comfortable
Cons: Flight attendant needs a lesson in FRIENDLY customer service he was almost rude to guests
Pros: Finally got me home
Cons: Delayed, no updates,
Cons: Food and drinks at least!!
Pros: Nice, supportive crew.
Cons: The delay that made me miss my next flight...
Cons: No more plastic cups in first class - and offer packaged nuts.
Pros: The crew.was so rude, even from the check in process
Cons: Too crowded c19
Cons: The WiFi could have worked
Pros: Had an exit row seat, 17D. Lots of leg room.
Pros: I paid for a full seat and the person next to me was so overweight, I had the use of less than 2/3 of my seat. My rifgt shoulder, neck and back was very sore when I got off the plane from lack of any movement.
Cons: Severely overweight people should not be forced onto another adult if they cannot fit in their own seat.
Pros: Crew was fine, outlets were nice
Cons: It should be a crime to have a fully packed plane in the middle of covid. It’s also illogical to not serve food but allow people to bring food on, doesn’t make it more covid safe. I will avoid American Airlines in the future.
Cons: 2.5 hour delay no explanation
Pros: Seats were okay, even with an upgrade, still tight and I'm only 5'3". Drinks and snacks were served so plan ahead for food to Hawaii. Otherwise, I feel like there staff was great and doing their best to make everyone safe and respected.
Cons: Very little seating at Phoenix airport.
Cons: I can not rate this flight because I missed it since my connecting flight was so late due to mechanical issues.
Pros: Nice clean new airplane, pleasant crew.
Cons: Time to start offering complimentary wifi in first class
Pros: The airlines bumped us up to better seats without us asking!
Cons: Not being an hour late. Someone to manage social distancing at gates. What a mess. Flight was easy tho.
Cons: extremely racist crew made flight uncomfortable for everyone.
Cons: Book seats together for parties traveling together.
Cons: Maybe some water
Pros: The flight was on time and the plane was clean and new.
Pros: Crew was friendly and nice
Cons: Absolutely no covid regulations in place, completely packed flight, boarding was horrendous everyone going in at once
Pros: Bags are no where to be found after landing 25 minutes ago
Cons: Cool AC, it was hot! AC barely working or set too low.
Cons: Flight was rerouted to another airport due to poor weather at Philly. 3 hours later we arrived at Philly, but I missed my connecting flight.
Pros: Good overall.
Pros: Ended up with a row to myself since flight wasn't full and people were able to move to different seats to provide for social distancing.
Cons: Spacing people out until this covid is over
Cons: They could start by not allowing a non-compliant passenger ON THE PLANE. When he was already not compliant in the damn terminal. (Dude didn’t wanna wear a mask) forced the captain to circle back and screw our timing for our connecting flight. You might say, how can we blame AA, well, because they chose to allow him to become a problem and then exasperated it by allowing him in the damn door of the plane. Now we got stuck in Charlotte for the night. Nothing like being late for your Grandma’s funeral. Pathetic AA! PATHETIC!
Pros: Short, sweet and great crew.
Pros: Seat was comfortable. Crew was professional.
Cons: Loading plane was a little chaotic and the comfortable seat was a little overpriced for the legroom.
Cons: Not as crowded as the LAX to PHX
Pros: The plane was clean
Cons: More spacing with the whole Covid-19 thing going on
Pros: Nice to fly again!
Cons: Have at least water offered
Cons: Really rude check in with bags and flight attendants are rude too. Haven’t flown American Airlines in years and will try to avoid them again
Pros: Seats were great! No snackage... #covid19
Cons: Nothing--everything was great--perhaps the best service I've ever received.
Pros: crew made me feel guilty to change my paid for seat so a married couple could sit together and I was solo
Cons: choice of snacks or food
Pros: Travel time was great
Pros: The plane had really soft, puffy, comfy headrests. These were the best headrests I've ever encountered on any flight. I wish these were on every plane.
Cons: 1. Departure gate gets inexplicably moved to an entirely different concourse. 2. Gate agent offers to check bags through to destination, then when I go up, offers to gate-tag my bag. Why did you say you could check the bags through, then? 3. The long, ridiculous AA boarding process consisting of 9 groups and 2 short lanes, taking about 20 minutes to get 30 people outside. 4. 30 people wander around outside on the tarmac, trying to find a sign for Albuquerque. 5. BAGGAGE HANDLERS tell some of the passengers that the planes have been switched, and we should now board the plane marked Flagstaff. 6. Gate agents come outside, receive information from -- again -- BAGGAGE HANDLERS -- and then tell everyone to go back inside. 7. Once inside, gate agents tell passengers they have no idea what is going on, where they will be departing from, or when. 8. Gate agents tell passengers to go through the (long, ridiculous) boarding process a second time, and get on the second plane on the left. 9. A couple of PASSENGERS remind the gate agent that the baggage handlers specifically said that plane was not going to Albuquerque. 10. Gate agents change their minds, and tell passengers to get on a different plane. 11. We finally get on the damn plane.
Pros: The counter attendant was helpful in changing our seats so could sit together.
Cons: The flight attendant when first boarding was extremely rude. We had a bag we brought on three previous legs of our total travel which was considered by all of the other attendants as a personal item. This particular attendant very rudely informed us it was not, and we needed to check it. When we tried to explain the previous flights she responded with “I just explained this to the other passengers...it’s not allowed.” We didn’t argue, and gave the bag to the personnel in attendance, but the tone for the duration of the flight continued.
Cons: Watched a very weird interaction between Muslim (with a hajib) women with a kiddo and desk crew. She wanted to sit next to her child on the flight and needed to switch seats to be able to. Woman was very gracious and understanding that she was asking for an accommodation. Ends up her flight to Philly had been moved to a different gate after they had found a volunteer to switch seats. Volunteer was totally unfazed but Desk crew made it seem as tho the Muslim mom was at fault for the time and trouble they had had to go through to accommodate her. She apologized profusely and was very appreciative for the trouble evernote had gone to for her. . As she walked away the crew looked at each other and shook their heads. Pretty crummy way to treat customers!
Pros: The trip was on time and with no issues flying. I really enjoyed the ability to watch a movie...this was AWESOME!
Cons: Wow, the seating was VERY tight and I was happy for the TV screen in front of me to keep me busy. All the inflight interruptions on the movie I was watching.
Pros: This flight was amazing! The crew was friendly and helped me when I had a panic attack from flying. It was very appreciated
Cons: seats are terrible.
Pros: The crew was fine
Cons: Cramped old A319,totally packed
Pros: Very nice and showed concern for safety. That made me feel good.
Cons: No in flight DirecTV
Cons: They overcrowded the flight in the middle of a global pandemic which shows they only care about making money and they do NOT care about the health and safety of their passengers.
Pros: Everything about the 787. Very comfortable and pleasant
Cons: Again, United is not enforcing its own COVID restrictions. That’s gotta stop
Cons: Plane was full!
Pros: Easy boarding process and the flight was almost 30 minutes early
Cons: the wifi kept kicking me off while I was watching their in flight entertainment
Cons: It would have been nice to have all the immigration forms necessary and a pen to fill them out. If you aren’t going to provide those please notify passengers in advance.
Cons: Stewardess was mean when I asked for a mask
Pros: We like the boarding according to row n., which limits the contact with other people.
Cons: The plane was full, which means no physical distancing was possible.
Pros: Good flight, but pretty jammed in.
Cons: Coach seats were definitely not comfortable
Cons: Way too crowded on the plane
Cons: So it was annoying that the seat that was assigned to me..airline assigned that seat to someone else because that person asked for it. And nobody bothered to ask me( no email or call or anything) even though there were lot of empty seats. But the passenger was polite he moved to his original seat.
Pros: Staff was all friendly and exhibited positive and helpful attitudes. I also think the price and route was an excellent deal for this flight. It was actually such a good deal, it’s the main reason I even went.
Cons: I think the baggage restrictions thing is really slimey and a shameful scam. I actually wouldn’t have minded paying around $50 more for my ticket and hand the bag included than be misled into thinking I could take luggage and finding out after it’s too late that I have to pay for my luggage. I think it’s a really sleazy business tactic (akin to resort fees). Fortunately for me however, I don’t travel with luggage so it doesn’t directly affect me. Still think it’s. Shitty way to do business though.
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: United has a system glitch and we were delayed. I got in around 1 am instead of 11 pm. I decide to order a glass of wine and since they don’t give receipts. I found out i was charged for 2 glasses instead of one. To top it off the co-worker i was traveling with didn’t get charged due to the inconvenience and delay. i travel a lot with United (higher status than him) and would have liked that offer (and not get charged one i didn’t order) being a mileage plus and credit card holder. I did go on line and ask for a credit and they did make it right and give me a credit.
Pros: I went to go talk to an employee about my flight boarding without me, when an Edwin Rodriguez of EWR New Jersey United Airlines employee started screaming at me. He told me to “wake up” and go run after my flight then while going after my flight he yells at me to come back. He apologized a few minutes later and then proceeds to yell at me again. My flight was canceled and reset for a later time. I have prior medical conditions that Edwin Rodriguez agitated through consistently harassing me at the help desk and am now in distress. I’m being relocated due to active duty military service and this is how you treat military veterans and their families.
Cons: Edwin Rodriguez of the EWR airport in New Jersey. If I screamed whenever I didn’t get my way I’d be arrested. I will never fly United Airlines again because of Edwin Rodriguez.
Pros: United got me on flight 3 hours early AWSOME
Pros: Chief flight attendant was nice and attentive.
Cons: Our section of the plane was very warm. When we mentioned it to one of the attendants, she pointed to the overhead vents and told us to use them. (We already knew this and had them open all the way!) Then the chief flight attendant came by and she was VERY responsive and went to tell the pilots. It got a little better but still stayed on the warm side the rest of the way. Your boarding process makes no sense and does nothing to get passengers settled faster. After priority seating is done, let the people in the BACK of the plane board first, then the middle section passengers, then the Eco Plus passengers.
Cons: Our flight was delayed which caused us to miss our international connection. Flight attendants did not care, did not attempt to get us out faster, or put on a different flight. Asked for an announcement to be made on board or to be moved to seats closer to the front so we could get off the plane quicker, did not happen. Offboarded and sprinted across the airport for our international connection and was notified by gate attendents that the gate closed five minutes ago and that they could not let us on the plane. Meanwhile, the plane sat there for an additional 30 minutes while it fueled and waited for release from air traffic control. There were six travelers total stuck there in San Fran at that gate, all of us begging to be let on the plane to Beijing, the last one for over 24 hours. Zero compassion from staff at the the airline gate. They did not care about us and did not care about leaving their travelers stranded. Our total travel was Denver to Bangkok, 26 hours of travel including layovers in San Fran and Beijing. In San Fran (after missing the gate connection), United rerouted us through Haiwaii and the customer service agent that did this reroute did not finish the reroute to our final destination. We got to Haiwaii and were stranded again, at the United service desk for four hours having to once again provide documentation of our initial travel plans to Bangkok, having them build a new itinerary to our final destination. Overall, 20 additional travel hours have been added to our itinerary, almost double our initial travel time. We have had to call and cancel pre-arranged bookings in Thailand as we are now missing two full days off our trip. I am absolutely disappointed and heart broken as I write this still stuck in the Beijing airport waiting another six hours to connect to Bangkok. My fiancé and I were traveling to Thailand to get married and have received no compassion from anyone at this airline to try and get us there. I fly United for work quite frequently and have never experienced such horrendous service and lack of basic human compassion. I am flat out disgusted by United and will not be using them again, for personal travel or work related trips, because of this horrendous experience.
Pros: Crew did a great job. Air China had much better food service.
Cons: Seats two small, not enough room to stretch your legs. Bathroom to small. Designed for people less than 150lbs, and 5'-6" in height Not comfortable for people over 6' tall.
Pros: The flight actually had hot food for sale! The cheeseburger was pretty good.
Cons: I had a really hard time getting the cabin crews' attention during boarding for a piece of safety equipment. I hit the call light, tried to catch them as the crew was distributing headphones, and the light got turned off by an off-duty flight attendant without checking that we needed something. I got it in the end with an apology from crew but I still don't feel terribly safe Also, the paid entertainment system that my neighbors purchased seemed to be down with static for a portion of the flight.
Cons: Sat on plane almost 2hrs waiting for mechanics who needed to fly to Sioux Falls Why???!?!!?
Pros: Seat 7 A on this type of aircraft - and United's configuration - had the most leg room and space, esp. when the seat next to you is empty. The flight crew was friendly and great!
Cons: Boarding gates/ area in Denver airport for these small aircraft was almost as bad as a bus station! Crowded and most cramped/ uncomfortable. Denver United staff at customer service center was most unhelpful, unsympathetic and dismissive about the fact that in spite of a flight delay that completely their fault (no weather delay), which made me miss the memorial service for my friend's daughter - my main purpose for visiting Cincinnati - they refused to even give me a patient hearing much less consider my request to try and put me on a different flight!
Pros: The flight was good and we arrived on time, despite the fact we left Denver late. Didn't buy any food.
Cons: The Entertainment choices on this flight were lousy...I also didn't like the fact that I had to buy Economy Plus because my wife and I were not only not assigned seats together after booking, we were not assigned seats at all. When I booked the flights I was only allowed to choose seats for the first flight - Charlotte to Houston...but not for the other three legs of our Charlotte to Seattle trip. The only two seats together from Houston to Seattle were in the very last row. And, on our return flight we had to purchase Economy Plus in order to sit together.
Pros: The Captain kept us apprised of the delays in our flight.
Cons: How the Denver airport has their gates set up for 77/78/79 and others, having to walk down stairs? then down a long hallway to go out on the tarmac to board the plane, then when having to deplane, repeat what we had just done in reverse, some customers were traveling with small children/babies, no offer to help these people were made, except to tell them they could use the elevator. Thought it was ridiculous that we had to go all the way to original gate when we were told we would be loading again on the gate next to the one we just came in from.
Cons: That my flight got delayed in Denver over an hour and I missed my flight from LA to BJX because of that. I was suppose to land in BJX At 6am on Friday April 28th for a family emergency and now my next flight isn't till 1pm! This is the worst flight experience I have ever had in my life. Never in my life will I ever fly with united again. My plans got ruined, I was forced to sleep on the cold dirty floor of LAX. This cost me a lot of time and money, and I am upset about it. I will tell all my peers about this horrible experience and encourage them to never fly with united ever again. I do expect some sort of compensation over this horrible experience.
Cons: To make meetings, got routed to Omaha, rented car and driving to SIoux Falls. United' best flights arrived next day about 2:30pm which misses business mtgs and most of day. Had to go to customer service supervisor to get hotel room covered in Omaha. No help on rental car. No help with hotel charges already made in Sioux Falls
Pros: On time in spite of a late start Gate attendants were nice and helpful Comfortable as is possible in economy without spending a lot more money. Food (pretzels and drinks) as good as possible without spending more money. (I remember the good old days when you got much more in seating and food for your money)
Cons: This flight I had a window seat and I felt like I couldn't get up to stretch my legs or use the bathroom. (I am 70 and 4 hours is too long to sit) I usually get an isle seat but ALWAYS have to give up my bag at the gate - my bag which you tell me I can bring ON the plane with me. I do not like having to waste time claiming my bag that you told me I could have with me on the plane. I can pay $25 for that privilege!! The flight attendants always seem like they have their defenses up. One even held up the people trying to board so she could serve a drink to someone in first class. REALLY?? They couldn't wait till the plane was loaded?? I gave this flight a 'good' rating because it was mostly as good as it is going to get with economy passengers needs stripped to the bare minimum.
Cons: EVERYTHING. My flight was originally scheduled for 650p. I understand that weather can cause delays. That's OK. However, the flight departure kept getting shifted. We ended up boarding for a 9:58p departure. I was told there was no more overhead space for my bag and forced to check it. When I got on the plane at 930p, there was clearly enough overhead room for my bag. I'm not sure why I was forced to check it. We then sat from 930p to 958p. We pulled away from the gate and then were told that we had to wait another 20 min. We turned off the engine and then waited until sometime between 1130-45 ON THE AIRPLANE on the runway. Is this even legal?? We finally took off and landed at 115a PST. I waited for 35 min for my bag that they forced me to check. They loaded our bags onto the wrong carousel, which caused all of us to be waiting for our bags in the wrong place for 10 minutes. This was the worst experience I've ever had flying. It wasn't the delay but the lack of clarity, being forced to sit on that plane for hours, and having my bag taken. I got to the airport in Denver at 550p PST and got home to SF at 3a PST for a 2 hour flight.
Pros: On time boarding
Cons: Older model plane had no TVs so had to rely on United Wi-fi which was not working for 90% of the flight. At least 6 overhead bins were locked, which lead to decrease overhead carry on space. Front desk had already boarded all 5 groups before realizing there was not enough overhead compartment space causing at least 50+ passengers to circle back to the plane door to check in their baggage. Flight crew and passengers had to hastily reshuffle overhead luggage causing inefficient boarding process and confusion during unboarding process. Baggage claim went to a different carousel than the one stated.
Cons: Upon approach we were suddenly deverted to Seattle. I had a few issues. Number one you could not hear the pilot so that made it worse. The lack of communication was horrible. I have been on flights when there has been clarity given a change in plans but this was bad. We sat at the gate for an hour and a half, again no real communication, the fligh attendant t hope was joking when he said there was a half a bottle left for the whole plane...much later we were served water. Announcements were made but no clarity. We were told to collect baggage at number 2. Get a voucher for a hotel. After deplann9ng about 25 of us stood in line at the customer service desk where there were two staff working slowly. Then after an hour they announced we were in the wrong place, couldn't that have been explained earlier? Once we made our way out of the terminal to the ticket count the line was all the way down the hall. still with little info we waited. We landed at the alternate airport at 945, at 130am I had my vouchers, the food not useful until the following day, the hotels were full, no one picked up the phone for the shuttle bus to the hotels. I finally elected to sleep at the airport on a bench. We had actually all been reassigned a flight on our same plane. So I am not sure why we had to wait in line all that time. Our bags were not removed from the plane an irritated baggage claim attendant told me. It was a mess. The flight the next morning was fine, short, without problems for me. united needs to work on its communications. It would have been helpful to have someone out side running the line giving out info. And at customer service they should have been paying attention to their line. Would have been helpful.
Pros: Only good thing was the flight was fast and on flight staff friendly.
Cons: Flight to Denver was supposed to leave from Albuquerque at 9:55. Screen said flight was on time. No rep at desk and screen changes to Houston and only way we found out our flight was delayed because the plane was diverted to Durango is because another passenger called United. Finally at a quarter till 11am the screen at the gate changed back to Denver but still said 9:55am departure flight on time but united's website stated flight delayed till 11:55am. Upon return to Albuquerque from Denver bag was not on my flight so I had to hang out in Albuquerque although, I live an hour away because I have prescription meds in my checked bag I need to take 4 times daily. Would not fly United again
Pros: Was supposed to be a larger plane.. uncomfortable seats. Too close to each other.
Pros: Nothing to like. 6:00pm flight delayed and kept rescheduling takeoff. Boarded plane about midnight and after ninety plus minutes we were made to deplane because current crew was over their allotted airtime. Kept on plane awaiting a new crew but they couldn't get them so flight cancelled. Attendants told us we would be compensated for cancellation. A big airline like united should have a better grasp on scheduling flight crews and stand bys available instead of putting us through this hell. No hotels available so we all had to stay overnight in uncomfortable chairs with many sleeping on floors. I felt bad for myself as a 69 ur old woman with some health issues but felt even worse for the parents flying with little toddlers who just wanted to go home. The day of my flight Denver had 8" of snow that stopped by 9am yet I couldn't get a flight out till the following evening. Psp to Denver to Newark should have taken six hours but took me over 38 hrs of travel time. Denver should be used to snow and 8" shouldn't cause such extreme disruption at that airport. And united needs to better coordinate its flight schedules and working crews. I will be contacting customer service regarding compensation as cancelled flight was due to company musmagent. Finally it would have been nice if united opened its club to the travelers who couldn't get hotels. Sitting in a comfortable place would have been so much better especially to the elderly and small children traveling. Thank you
Cons: Flight was delayed for water leak. Two hour delay
Pros: Contact me for more info
Pros: Online confirmation
Cons: My seat assignments were changed and we were at the end of the plane next to the bathroom. I know I didn't put those. I don't like the fact that you have to pay for baggage and there is no food provided other than a drink and some really poor substitute even for peanuts. Southwest at least allows you to have a free baggage. It's not the fault of the pilot but it also is very bumpy. The flight crew was fine and it's just the uncomfortable aspects of having my seat assignment changed and the extra charges for anything that makes it comfortable.
Cons: The plane temperature was ice cold and I was miserable the entire flight home
Pros: I made it home
Cons: When I got to the ticket counter my reservations had been canceled by united. Worst part is the flight is now completely booked. I was lucky enough to make the flight thanks to a late flight from vegas where 7 people were connecting from but it was pretty stressful to walk up to the counter to be told the reservation you have had for 2 months was no longer reserved. This was one of the rudest staffed planes I've been on. These guys aren't over worked. I don't know why they can be so hateful. I loved united but this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. It all worked out in the end, but I still can't follow why my flight reservation was canceled without me being notified. I shouldn't find something like that out when I get to the airport with my luggage in my hand.
Pros: They got a wheelchair within 5 minutes.
Cons: Delayed as usual with united airlines.Seems that every time I fly with United their is some kind of problem flying out of Denver.Every Time.
Cons: Planes have mechanical issues, but they could have done more things at the same time like reboard while the post repair system checks ran and sort out baggage weights so that there weren't delays on top of delays. That was after not noticing issues with the plane until after waiting for late passengers and taxiing out. We arrived 4hrs late for a 3hr flight. They also only had one agent to rebook flights and assign hotels at the end even though they had hours to know the connections would be missed.
Pros: the customer service rep was very professional and helped us out.
Cons: my girlfriend and I were removed from the plane. she had received troubling news from her family that kept stacking on, not to mention we were tired from traveling all day thanks to delays making us miss our flights. and when we gestured for an attendant to come by, light dark skin, facial hair, glasses. he had customer service come by and we reiterated the question if we decided we would like to get off the plane would it be possible to receive a voucher for the flight. but we told him that we were just trying to consider options and we were good to go, and the customer service told us that the attendant did not feel comfortable with us on the plane, and that my girlfriend reached out and touched him and he did not feel safe. we never even raised our hands our eye brows. they caused us all kinds of hell, we couldn't get another flight till 2210, they embarrassed and humiliated my girlfriend because she was crying. unacceptable.
Pros: The airplane was new and clean
Cons: The pre-boarding staff were rude and not helpful. I had requested an aisle seat when I booked my flight. Somewhere along the line, my seat was changed to a middle seat. When I asked the staff if I could switch to an aisle seat to help accommodate my sciatica, they told me, "sorry, we can't help you, you'll just have to ask another passenger." Neither crew member was willing to work with me or hear my concerns. So much for flying the friendly skies...well I guess we were still on land, so may that principle had not yet taken effect.
Pros: The employees were very helpful on both legs of the journey and the conneting flights were conveniently located in the same area. Pilot was good about letting us know time frame of mechanical issue repair while on tarmack.
Cons: The seats were incredibly uncomfortable. Must be the type of plane because never really had issues on other flights. We noticed many carry on bags others brought on bosrd were oversized. On leg from Kalispell to Denver the crew were diligent in spotting larger bags and tagging them for under plane storage for the flight. From Den to SFO however not so much. This led to most bins being filled ahead of our group 4 boarding with larger than permitted carry on bags. Obviously larger! Luckily we were able to put our smaller bags (which we made sure fit to overhead storage specs ahead of time) under the seat for flight but that made an uncomfortable 2.5 hour journey. Actually over 3 hrs because there was a mechanical problem which had us sitting on the tarmack for over 30 minutes from Den to SFO. We've flown United before without much incident but this trip in particular was pretty crappy.
Cons: I Purchased 2 round trip tickets for myself and my son. My son had a change of plans and purchased another one way ticket to leave a week earlier. So his first leg of my purchase was not used. They resold that seat on May 27. So they made money Twice on that seat. Then when we checked in to return on 15 June. We were told his ticket had been cancelled and I had to purchase another ticket for his return. The flight was NOT sold out. My entire row of seats was empty. So I paid for 2 seats for the same flight. This is theft, coming and going and I am calling my lawyer!
Pros: The flight was on time, and the attendants courteous.
Cons: However, the seats were so cramped, it was pretty miserable, even for just a 2 hour flight. With no snacks even offered because of turbulence, and no working wifi or seat back TVs, there was nothing to distract from how uncomfortable we all were. Plus, Austin's airport layout requires travelers to walk awfully far to get bags and then a rental car. Don't dare be disabled or feeling unwell--you'll never make it! Of course our gate was furthest from baggage claim, & someone's has to be. Nevertheless, it's a terrible layout, w/ pedestrians pushing through boarding queues and where others are lined-up to buy food.
Cons: On April 15 we flew from Sacramento to Basel, via Los Angeles and Munich. We did exactly what we were told re reserving seats. We were told to call 23 hrs. in advance to reserve seats. When we tried to follow directions, we were not able to check in. Without checking in, we could not reserve seats. After numerous phone calls, to various numbers, we were not able to check in or reserve seats. By continuing to ask questions, to try and understand, we were told we were "under airport control". This was an "at random" situation and online check in was not available. Only 5 minutes earlier, we were still being instructed to check in online! We had never heard of this. I contacted a neighbor, who flies often internationally and within the U.S. He said it had happened to him once. He agreed that driving to the airport in Sacramento was a wise decision. This is not what we wanted to be doing 1 day before departure. At Sacramento we found a kind gentleman who saw our dilemma and checked us in as a favor. We saw assigned seats. He suggested we request to improve our seats the following travel day. It was a very challenging morning. As I tried to improve our seating the following day I was told, by airport staff, that this happened because we booked through Kayak? Rather with an attitude that we should have booked differently. This was a vacation we had looked forward to for years. I worked hard at not letting this difficult start damage my trip. Upon arrival in Amsterdam, I tried to learn more, to prevent a similar situation on the way home.
Pros: Flight attendant was welcoming and fun.
Cons: It was a smaller plane and being in the very last row meant I smelled the bathroom. The door was literally within arms reach.
Cons: They purchased us for carrier on ridiculous
Pros: The ease of getting onboard.
Cons: I paid extra for the exit seats thinking there were going to be more comfortable, they were worse then the regular seats and I felt ripped off. On top of that you charge for water? That’s silly.
Pros: Very good
Cons: Hope is on time not delay 1 hour that’s all
Pros: The time
Pros: I did not get onto flight
Cons: Allowing me to board; I showed up to Denver international with plenty time, I arrived at gate of new flight the check in attendant placed me on, I then watched my original flight close the gate and fly away while waiting for my next flight.
Pros: The boarding was stress free.
Cons: Nothing. It was great
Pros: Boarding back to front makes so much sense! Thanks!
Pros: Aircraft was clean
Cons: Staff talks too much, especially when they stammer.
Cons: Always delayed with frontier it’s ridiculous
Cons: Boarding could be better. It’s could be organized.
Cons: I was concerned for my health due to United Airlines placing profits over people by having a full plane during COVID.
Cons: Social distancing
Pros: Finding a better price than the actual site of the air line
Cons: Nothin honestly.
Cons: Frontier has declined a saddening amount.
Pros: Masks required. Temp check required
Cons: No social distancing
Cons: Your workers stole from me I spend money with the airline just too have you guys take from my hard working things
Cons: Need food
Pros: I thought everything and everyone were great!
Cons: Drink service.
Cons: Good service
Cons: Horrible organisation. They steal from customers.
Cons: The flight was delayed twice after boarding, we had to sit in the plane for almost 2 hours. I dont think frontier is worth the price anymore, you definatley get what you pay for. I had to check a bag both ways because a checked bag is cheaper than their fee to carry on a bag. There were no complimentary drinks or snack even after having to sit on the plane for so long. I requested an aisle seat and got stuck in the middle. Overall, think I will be paying the extra for any other airline than frontier.
Cons: I understand that airlines have things happen and cannot always be on time. I fly enough to expect the occasional delay but in the last week I have had 8 flights with frontier airlines and 7/8 have been delayed by at least an hour. I would be a little more forgiving about the delays if the airline would be better about communicating the delays. The only way I found out about them was by checking the flight boards.
Pros: Pretty much nothing
Cons: Tray tables the size of my cell phone. Had to pay $50 a piece for each item checked or carried on. Seats don't recline. You have to pay for any snack or refreshments while on the plane. No entertainment options, not even a magazine. Armrests didn't fold all the way up. Flight attendant wouldn't allow any switching of seats even though an entire row of seats was empty. Flight crew all looked and acted worn out and cranky. I recieved no forward notice of the cost of luggage and carry on items until I reached the ticket counter, and then would've had to pay a fee in order to cancel my trip with them. This is classic bait and switch with predatory tactics. The woman at the ticket counter tried to tell me that they were still the cheapest airline available to which I replied. "You are a complete liar. It would have cost us 8 more dollars to go with a United flight instead, but overall would have saved me. 92$ in the long run with a much more comfortable flight and complimentary refreshments. Not only will I never fly frontier again, I will tell anyone willing to listen to not fly frontier as well.
Pros: Modern planes. Good on board crew.
Cons: 2.5 hour delay, no explanation why.
Cons: Extra charges for just about everything.
Cons: Checked bag got lost in Denver, was promised delivery 24 hours later... Never happened. Bag had all the stuff for a wedding in it. Bag never got delivered, ended up in Louisville and the bag clerk there was awful and couldnt tell me when it would be delivered.
Cons: The seats are incredibly thin with nearly no padding and don't recline. No complimentary drinks or snacks. Tray table is too small to be of any use
Pros: The whole experience, most of the complaints I see on here don't really make sense to me. When I travel I travel light far less hassle. Most of the time when I fly the problem is with T.S.A. theft.
Pros: Tried to pull up my return flight and it wouldn't let me check in . Had to stand in line at airport .dont like the fact your seats don't decline anymore .
Cons: They didn't know how to handle the unpleasant situation of having delay due to "the plane is having some problems and they will try to fix it asap before departure".
Cons: Horrible delay , uncourteous attendants , not even drinking water is free More or less every airline of America is like this except Southwest .
Pros: The landing was good.
Cons: $40 for a carry on? Come on now. $5 seat upcharge because "window seat"? Chairs that don't recline? You interrupt my already terrible nap so you can try to sell the entire plane your "no-black-outs" Mastercard. The cabin was much too hot, people complained and nothing was done -- adding insult to injury, water costs money. Every aspect of buying a ticket is littered with popups to upsell you to something "better" or more "exclusive". The entire experience from buying a ticket to touch-down was dehumanizing and an insult my intelligence.
Cons: This was the worst flight I have had yet to date. We kept dropping throughout the flight and it was so bad that I became nauseous and almost threw up
Pros: the beginning price - maybe?
Cons: I got to the airport in Dallas 2 hours before my 6:55 flight, and at that very moment, received a text that the flight was delayed 3 hours. At that time, there was NO ONE at the Frontier check in to explain what was going on. I understand there was excessive wind in Denver, but there should have at least been a Frontier representative at the gate in Dallas. On my way home, again the flight was delayed by an hour because of something on a previous leg. Because of this, I am going to go with any other airline first. I think Frontier should either co-op with other airlines to get people to their destinations on time or have more planes.......or AT LEAST have someone at the gate to offer next day service or a voucher or a free snack or something. I also do not like the whole A LA CARTE theme with this airline and Spirit Air. I do not like that I was going to be charged for a coffee or a coke. The whole thing is too confusing, and I am going to pay more for an American, United or Southwest flight next time.
Cons: No real complaints about the flight, HOWEVER, Frontier's luggage handlers (probably in Denver) ruined a piece of my luggage. I got home very late and didn't notice the problem until the next morning. I checked their baggage policy and noticed there was a four-hour window to report lost or damaged luggage, so I was out of luck on a $100 piece of luggage. I recognize damage can be caused by any airline, but when you have to pay to check a bag AND carry one on, you would think you'd be given more than four hours to report a problem.
Pros: We did not crash. I appreciated that. Also, we made slightly faster time than planned.
Cons: I had no idea that a *carry on* costs $30. That's just obscene. My GF and I took a weekend trip to Utah and brought only our backpacks because we didn't want to spend the extra dough. Lame. At Frontier, you don't even get to choose your seats without paying extra money. If you want to guarantee that you can sit in the absolute worst seats on the plane that's gonna cost you an extra $5. Sure hope we get to sit together! Lame. The seats were one step above folding lawn chairs. Lame. When the flight crew refers to the 6 inch by 3 inch "table" as a "barbie tray" that makes it funny, but no less lame. How could we top all this lameness off with a lame sauce? How about the flight crew "requesting" your attention and forcing you to sit through a 5 minute *credit card offer*. I could not believe it when the credit card offer started. Afterwards, she walked through the aisles and asked every person who dared to gaze in her general direction whether they were interested in her offer. How many were? ZERO. Before this flight I truly had no opinion about which airline I should fly, but now I do have a preference... Literally anyone other than Frontier.
Cons: I did not like the fact that I had to pay $45 for a small bag I carried on and placed in an overhead compartment. I handled my own luggage and had to pay for it! Why did Frontier NOT clearly state the cost of a carry-on? I can only assume that they're being deceptive and forcing people to pay when they haven't got a choice; their ticket has already been purchased. This type of customer service is despicable. Travelers should not have to search the internet and read the extra fine print to find the REAL cost of travel. Shame on you Frontier. You've lost my business.
Pros: The flight was fine. It arrived on time, and I don't mind the immobile seat backs and the lack of a talk tray table.
Cons: I received an email on Tuesday night informing me that my Thursday am flight was cancelled, due to anticipated weather (no increment weather at the time), The email provided no instructions for rebooking except a phone number. I tried rebooking on the web site, but that didn't work. The web site did not know about the cancellation at all and wanted to charge me a large rebooking fee. Meanwhile I was on hold for two hours. Finally, I needed a midnight trip to the airport in order to rebook. At the airport, I witnessed ill-informed and stressed agents failing to cope with stressed stranded customers. One agent told a customer that she refused to help him any longer because he recorded her.
Pros: The flight was on time and the plane was clean. The crew was very friendly.
Cons: The airline did not provide seat assignments at booking or prior to the flight. To secure seats together with my 11 year old son, I was upcharged at the airport ($85 for tow flights). No amenities were provided. Apple juice cost $3. No in flight entertainment, not even a magazine. This flight cost as much as a major airline when I booked it--the only convenience was timing back to our original airport. Add the seat up charge and I probably paid more. This experience proved to me that it might be ok to pay a little extra for a major carrier, especially on long trips.
Pros: Flight was on time. Online check in and boarding was okay. Nonstop Denver to Columbus.
Cons: I didn't like being stabbed with outrageous fees for baggage (checked and carry on). I especially didn't like seat assignment fees and no ability to keep your party seated together unless you pay their ridiculous surcharges. By the time you get done with every extra charge they rope you into you can fly any otheir airlicanard possibly for less money. In addition, the seating is terrible. Rows are crammed in tight with the new non reclining rubber pad seats that are sure to send you to the chiropractor. They have the unmitigated gall to cram their credit card sales pitch over the PA followed up with multiple trips up amddown the aisle. Hey Frontier, if I wanted a credit card sales pitch I would stay home and answer the damn robocalls. Nice way to treat your customers, especially after you stab them $3 for a drink.
Cons: frontier was awful. they pushed our flight out of new york back three times and then canceled in the middle of the night, saying they didn't have partnerships with other airlines so couldn't get us out until the 25th (the day before our return flight). we talked to both customer service on the phone (20 minute wait to get someone) and gate agents and EVERYONE said they weren't authorized to give us a refund for any of the inconvenience and unanticipated expenses. ultimately we ended up flying out of philly (paying for our own bus tickets) on AMERICAN (paying for another flight with our own money) to get to our family in denver. on the way back they weren't going to let us check luggage for free, again saying no one was authorized to do that until thankfully they discovered a note from the manager we spoke to in nyc. otherwise they would not have given it to us even after we spoke to the manager in denver. we boarded our return flight to find that we couldn't sit down as someone had vomited (not frontier's fault), and that was the cherry on top. we just burst out laughing because the whole thing was a disaster. we ended up spending the same amount as our "inexpensive" frontier tickets and more on fixing the trip ourselves because they wouldn't help us at all. truly a terrible experience and i don't anticipate flying frontier again.
Pros: Delayed 2 times now. And still waiting!! "Still Waiting" should be frontiers new slogan. Denvers worst flights are on Frontier
Cons: Frontier all together
Cons: I will never book a flight with Frontier again!!! They cancelled my flight on Friday & made no effect to help me get on another airline!!
Pros: Stewards were professional
Cons: Experience started with sitting on plane for 2 hours or more while maintenance was fixing thermostat, then plane was shut down for 10 mins., then had to wait another 10 for plane to reboot. All this didn't work, so we were told get all your stuff, get off plane then go wait at another gate to reboard another plane...so family plans were ruined since we all arrived 3 hrs later starving, thirsty & tired.. . No compensation was offered for all the inconvenience and we paid a high price for this flight that you had to pay a lot for a carry on. Flight home was at least 2 hr delay. Also not sure why entertainment is on survey since there wasn't any, or food since not even peanuts were offered and comfort??? Noticed less space pet person since my last flight and even the tray was tiny. None of our group of 7 will fly Frontier again, and will make sure everyone who asks about our trip will hear about our awful experience w/Frontier.
Pros: The crew was very nice.
Cons: This is definitely the bottom of the heap when it comes to airlines. They offer a competitive price on a flight, but once booked they nickel and dime you until the price is higher than a better airline. They charge for seat choice on the whole plane, snacks and drinks, carry on and checked luggage, and there is no entertainment. Plus the seats felt like cardboard, and didn't recline. Definitely not a good choice for a red eye, or any flight over an hour long. Actually, no matter how short your flight is, you'll probably be more comfortable taking the bus. Two big thumbs down.
Cons: The day after arriving at our destination, our return trip was canceled: "due to day-of-travel flight cancellation or traveler no-show." I can assure you, we did show; I had the pictures. They tried to put us on an earlier flight, which was not convenient, due to travel plans made 8 months prior, so the return flight was scheduled for the next day (again, inconvenient, due to loss of income). Frontier attempted to charge me for the extra day. After I complained multiple times, they finally waived the additional charge when I reminded them I was NOT the one who canceled the original flight. My daughter and I were provided $100 travel vouchers, each, for the "inconvenience." Frontier can keep their $200.
