Pros: Customer service was awesome
Pros: Car was new and clean. Pick up staff was friendly and efficient. We had a Dodge Charger which had lots of trunk room for luggage for 3. Quite fuel efficient also.
Cons: Drop off staff was not overly pleasant, however, she was efficient! A snails would have been nice!

Pros: Lots of trunk space, drove nicely and pretty fast/kind pickup/drop off service.
Cons: I didnt get the vehicle of choice but it worked for what we needed. A little more pricey then I thought it would be and some extra expenses that I had to pay were not outlined when I rented the vehicle such as paying an extra $20 per day because I am under the age of 25.

Cons: I will be writing a letter of complaint to Budget concerning the customer service I received at pick-up in Newfoundland. The security agent told me to also complain to the airport as he said she was rude to me.
I did not receive the rental. I needed to spend the remainder of the evening and the next morning to arrange a new rental. I went with Enterprise. Good customer service, lower price, better car, etc.
I will NEVER rent with budget again.
Late arrival? no problem!
Pros: We were scheduled to arrive in St. John's at 6 pm, but flight delays pushed our arrival till 1:30 am. I was concerned, having heard that cars in Newfoundland could be scarce. The counter was open, the car I reserved was available, and the woman at the counter could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Huge relief!

Cons: Nothing major comes to mind, but I would have appreciated some instruction on how to change gears. There was no shift lever - just a knob on the Chrysler 300.
Cons: The car itself was almost new but a poor choice for a fleet car. There was barely enough headroom for me, and I am only 5'10". Visibility for backing up is poor.
The final bill was higher than I expected because the daily mileage allowance of 200 km per day is not enough for tourists like ourselves. We did not go to any of the more distant locations in Newfoundland and even still we ended up way over the allowance.
Pros: Rental was smooth; car was smoother.
Cons: The a/c didn't seem to be working, although we only really needed it for part of one afternoon. Otherwise operationally sound and trouble-free.
St. John's airport parking lots are under construction as of June 2016. Egress/ingress signage is skimpy if not altogether absent.
