Cons:We made a reservation online through kayak but the hostess was completely disrespectful in honoring the price booked with through the site.

Cons:Car was literally falling apart. Suspension made noise for 5 days. And price went from $10 for 5 day renal to$ 264 with the min liability insurance. Never rent from them again!
Very easy to rent through budget rent a car.
Cons:My friend and I made a reservation for 11am! We arrived at 10:30. The doors were locked. We called the number no answer!! We walked around and returned. Still no answer and doors locked!! This was on a Monday! We went next door and went to Alamo! Smooth sailing with Alamo!!

Cons:I thought I rented the car at SJD, but the office turned out to be 25 miles away in Cabo San Lucas. There were no cars available at SJD and when I called the Cabo office, he said he had no car for me. It ended up taking me over six hours to get to La Paz via cab and bus. I would never rent from Budget again.
Pros:pick up location was closer than driving all the way to the airport.
Cons:There was only one budget rep and no one could find him when we arrived at our reservation time. Apparently he was at lunch and we had to wait 30 mins for him to help us. He then couldn't figure out our rental information and proceeded to tell us that we needed to pay $200 extra for insurance - this info was not included on the original rental info through Kayak but apparently mandatory in Mexico.
Cons:If you tell me a quote, I call specifically to confirm that quote, offer to pay over the phone saying I don't want to pay anything more than this quote when I get to the office, they refuse but reassure me that the price won't change when I get there and then when I get to the office they tell me no way they can accommodate the price quoted and I need to pay mandatory insurance which will cost me $400 more than my original quote, and of course I don't have phone service to find competitors and end up just eating the cost.
Cons:Surprise insurance fees. I canceled the reservation because of the cost.
