The Amber Waves restaurant downstairs was so convenient and my kids enjoyed their kids meals at dinner and breakfast. We didn’t book with vouchers but they gave us a 20% coupon at check in. 10 min walk to the park was great. My room was nice and clean. The door on the bathroom was old and creaky but other than the room looked fresh and well kept and I wouldn’t have noticed it was an older if not for that door. Oh and the sink is separate from the toilet/shower which was also very convenient for us. Looking forward to staying there again soon. People were so friendly and the lobby is very inviting. 10/10 experience. Oh and tip: we didn’t make the coffee in the room but when we bought coffee at 630 from the restaurant they let us know we could get free refills till 11 so we showed our receipt at breakfast and didn’t have to pay again for coffee at breakfast!
Pros. Very close to Knott's amusement park. Obviously. Staff was also nice.
Cons. The room was not very clean, and the biggest thing was the bed. The bed was not comfortable at all. My husband and I both did not sleep well either night. The mattresses are way too hard. Also, the food at the restaurant was awful. Nothing we got was good at breakfast or dinner.
Pros. Employees are pleasant
Cons. The room on the first floor where most of the worker are.
Pros. The location...best for family who have kids...
Cons. The room we have doesnt smell good...no microwave ...
Pros. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Nice hotel staff too.
Cons. It was kind of annoying that they didn't have minor amenities that hotels usually have, even those way cheaper than this place. Also, for the price of this place, I feel like a fridge should be included in the room and not an extra charge, as well as I feel like free continental breakfast should have been included, which it was not. I also thought it was ridiculous that there were additional daily fees for parking at the hotel.
Pros. Stayed here while visiting for Knotts Scary Farm. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and welcoming and answered all of my questions I had. The rooms themselves are very comfortable and modern. Obviously if you’re visiting Knotts Berry Farm it’s perfect, as it’s a very short walk to the park and it feels very safe to do so, even when we were walking at 2 in the morning.
Cons. The bathroom doesn’t have fans, so it got very hot during showers but the air conditioning in the room worked very well so this wasn’t as big of an issue as it could have been. I wish the room had had a refrigerator to keep drinks and snacks in.
Pros. Its a 1970's hotel with granite countertops. The bed was so hard! This place needs a major facelift. The staff was excellent and the room was clean.
Pros. Amazingly friendly and knowledgeable staff. We left every conversation with a smile.
Cons. Not much, maybe the bathrooms could us a bigger and more modern tub. Us bigger gals can't enjoy a good soak. But over all my boyfriend and I truly treasured out first Valentine's weekend together and were so happy we stayed at Knotts .
