I had ordered a room with 2 queen beds. Called several days before we left to verify accomidations. I was assured of the two queen beds. We arrived to find 2 full size beds and staff said she thought they were all queen beds. Then we asked for roll out and after an hour was told no roll outs were available.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was adequate. Clean, well equipped. Bed was not very comfortable.
Very friendly staff; clean rooms; unexpectedly convenient to downtown Omaha; nice room amenities (microwave, refrigerator, safe). Room was really stuffy when we arrived (at 9:30 p.m.), which was quickly remedied after we turned down the temperature on the AC; couldn't get the safe in the room to operate and didn't know if it was broken or "operator error."
No frig or microwave.
The room was clean and the staff was friendly. There was no fridge or microwave.
I didn't Like Service Poor Service
It is close to the airport. The front staff person was nice. I have never had a good Super 8 anywhere in the Omaha neighborhood. I was greeted with the front desk staff smoking right outside the front door. After walking through the smoke into the lobby I got my room. As I was going to sleep, I noticed that the bed was fairly hard which is to be expected. The worst thing about this place is how poorly insulated the walls are. People talking outside - cars driving blaring music in the parking lot, people in the room next to me, and people in the hallway were talking loudly all night and the walls only seemed to amplify the noise. I only slept about three hours that night. I will not be back.
Friendly Couldn't sleep well
It was clean, unlike a lot of our other options. There was a mini fridge and microwave, which was a nice surprise. Other than that it was a pretty basic hotel room. Since it was on the edge of town, we couldn't find many places to deliver food to us. It wasn't that big of a deal, but is noteworthy I think.
Next to strip club Room smelled like cleaning supplies spilled.
We stayed overnight due to a late flight. The room was great with standard amenities for an reasonably priced motel. Don't let the name dissuade you. The decor style was modern home in the country -- not folksy country. We were most impressed with the complimentary breakfast which include a wide assortment of both cold and hot foods.
Good location, friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was not as good as we are used to.
The hotel was nice and very clean, but what really made it stand out was the staff. The man at the front desk and the shuttle driver really made our trip. Would definitely recommend!!
Fresh cookies at registration! (out)dated facilities... need updating!
staff was friendly and helpful room smelled funny, hole punched in the wall by the door
I loved that the hotel was so close to the airport and Old Market. It was the perfect location for our girls trip. I was very happy with my choice of lodging. The bathroom in our room was a little rough. There were pieces of the tiles coming off the floor that we are stepping on. The elevator also has a very strange smell.
The service was great very clean and well kept place would recommend to anyone very convenient location close to airport and other amenities
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking lot was a wee bit full... please remember there is snow piles in parking spot and people don't park the best during winter when charging/ accepting extended parking for travelers.
the breakfast was good. the room was pleasant. the staff was very welcoming and informative good water pressure in the shower nice price for a family wasn't in town, but not far away the air conditioner/heater was making unnecessary noise the beds could have been more comfortable, but not too bad the bathroom needed a paint job the plug outlets need covers the sauna needed to be cleaned and had too much bleach in it and there were bubbles of black in it because of the dirty tiles in the pool. very old feel and look to the place
The staff was superb! They were very friendly and helped us with suggestions on places to go and eat. The added bonus, was the shuttle offered to our event!
would stay there again and would recommend it to my friends and family
I liked the staff, they where really friendly and super helpful. I did not like, I b the other hand, what they had to offer for such a high price... even super 8's have free WiFi and complimentary breakfast to their clients.
rooms are good size, bed is comfortable. could be cleaner - for instance, clean the telephones!!!
This is an awesome hotel and we love that it is connected to the Quest Center for concerts! It would be nice if it had some kind of complimentary breakfast with as much as it costs.
cookie particles was not cleaned in the second day. cleaning has not parfect.
Location is good, right next to sporting venues and downtown. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and the lobby looked nice. Charging to use the internet and the gym/pool is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. How is it that Motel 6 gives free wifi at most locations and the Hilton wants $10 per day to use the internet? They also charge for the use of the gym and pool, which didn't even have drinking cups for the water cooler. The hotel staff and I also have different definitions of what "city view" means. I had a great view of a freeway offramp.
the entire staff was most helpful and friendly
Smoky room. Who allows people to smoke in hotel rooms anymore? Not worth the cost!
This is a great location especially as an alternative to downtown Omaha. The room was clean, comfortable and did not have any scent of smoke. Internet allowed me to work in the evenings and beds were extremely comfortable. It is a bit of a trek from parking lot to the room especially if you don't do the valet.
The hotel was clean and very nice. Lots of amenities and things to do. All good
Rooms are very clean, modern, and comfortable Casino and restaurants offer plenty of fun and good eats Room service was prompt and tasty
Staff was rude, we booked king non smoking, they put us in smoking without telling us, came down, asked for non, then she put us in double. It was only 8 when we checked in if kings aren't available it shouldn't be an option. She rudely explained to read the fine print and that nothing was guaranteed. We stay at several hotels per year and book through several 3rd party sites yet this is the only hotel where we weren't accommodated what we'd asked for, regardless of fine print. BAD customer service, and lazy.
Room was great, liked convenience of being able to just walk upstairs at the end of the night. Dinner and breakfast were very good. I confirmed my room (through Kayak) and showed up an hour after I was told it would be ready. It wasn't ready, so they told us we'd have to wait an hour. I mentioned that I had confirmed and been told we'd get a room, and she magically found one. I'm glad she did, but perturbed that she didn't do so on her own or make some kind of effort to make up for the delay.
Lots of choices to dine on site Had issues with the tv and no one seemed to want to help, the pool/hot tub are far from room.
Airport shuttle. Random charges on my credit card in excess of the $100 hold that nobody disclosed before booking. Also, no bath mats.
Wide corridors, comfy bed, tall ceilings. Good breakfast buffet, cookies at night, friendly staff perfumy smelling lobby
*great restaurant *good looking front lobby and courtyard *very spacious room! *nice new bathroom *comfortable bed *quiet *nice staff and service *hallways were a little darker, but not a problem
Everyone was super nice and helpful. The shuttle guy was super nice and accommodating.
The hotel is a beautiful old building and is very welcoming. The bar/lounge was awesome with a wonderful menu and efficient waitstaff. The bedding was luxurious and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful but didn't have much space for toiletries or towel racks.
Grand old building. Updated bathrooms. Breakfast in the morning.
The style of the hotel is nice. The service was good. It was also nice to receive a free breakfast. In the room you could hear everything. Especially at 2 am when everyone came back from the bar. I could hear everyone's conversation as they entered the building. The valet cost $17 to park for the night. If you are looking for a nice hotel downtown, I would suggest staying somewhere else though.
Comfortable beds - nice clean rooms - Staff very polite and helpful. no frig in room better selection of channels on TV Little pricey More selection on menu
Go to the historic old town try Berry and Rye for a drink check out all the old aricitecture and we are at 801 Chop House where they said Warren Buffett ate a coume days ago...great staff
The room was clean and well-appointed. Noise wasn't too bad, although there was a good bit of activity in the hallways. Bed was quite comfortable. The building itself was lovely. The shower leaked all over the floor (obviously a design flaw, not something wrong), and that made the tile floors amazingly slippery. The breakfast was mediocre at best, although the coffee was reasonable. My partner compared it to mess hall food from his Army days.
Free beer and cookies! A sliding door to the bathroom that doesn't block any sounds. Housekeeping knocked on all the doors of my floor at 8 am in the morning every morning.
This hotel has the most comfortable beds, deluxe shower, friendliest staff, cleanest, warmest, best we've ever stayed at in Omaha. A couple of unpolished surfaces in shower (roof leaks).
everyone was nice it was affordable and they treated us like kings
Super cool interior decorations in the lobby, lounge and especially the rooms!! Do not miss taking a shower, they are amazing. Unfortunately their check-in system was down when we got there so we were delayed getting into our room. Also, their valet service is a bit slow. But nothing to not rate it 5 stars overall.
Great staff, easy parking, terrific room service, excellent for business.
We felt like we were treated like queens. We've never experienced valet parking. So fancy! The rooms were beautiful. The lobby was gorgeous. Thomas spoiled us and was so nice. Conner drove us everywhere we needed. What a great service. Would have loved to stay longer. The Old Market location was wonderful and we loved the historical aspect. I highly recommend Hotel Deco! The shuttle will take you anywhere you need and pick you up. Only downfall is they didn't have a GPS and got a bit lost. Nothing too bad though. Well worth the extra minutes on our drive to not have to worry about parking!
The decor was very unique, especially with the options of other hotels in the area. The staff was great and always right at your service. We loved the shower too!
Large, clean rooms, awesome shower, and cool historic feel with modern decorations. Really nice mixed drinks in the room as well. Wife and I loved it and will come back whenever we are in Omaha. Price of Valet is offset by how cheap the room was -- incredible value.
I loved this hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable and well appointed. Bathroom was great. Internet was fast and easy to sign onto. Location fantastic. Exercise room had high quality machines and dumbells and kettle weights. Staff super friendly. I liked it all.
Great location. Modern décor. Historic building with neat attributes Very warm in the common areas
Everything for the most part was great. Easy access and in the middle of everything. Staff was awesome and good space in the rooms. The pool is ok and no hot tub.
So close to so many things downtown/Old Market. Stayed at Hyatt, ate at Plank (excellent), many fine dining options, many nice places to have a drink, and even donut and coffee shops nearby, and a Subway across the street (restaurant). Lots to do in the area, makes this an EXCELLENT place to stay! No complaints. Excellent room, very clean and spacious, excellent rate, and very high level of quality all around!
Fair price, clean space. A bit noisy in the evening. Outside noise traveled to our seventh floor room.
Very nice hotel. Pool was closed while we were there.
The hotel was clean and modern. The location is great, walking distance to shopping, and dining. The room had temperature control issues, the hvac fan continually turned on and off and was not quiet. The hotel was understaffed and those working were not friendly due to being over worked. We had to wait an hour after the scheduled check in time b/c our room was not clean and ready when we arrived. I felt it was overpriced for a Monday to Tuesday one night stay.
Close to where I was visiting and easy to find. Room had a great view and eating establishments were in walking range. Breakfast was very good. Over priced drinks.
I liked how nice and clean everything was. The food from the Gallery was not good at all, I was also sad to see a very small pool and no hot tub.
The view of the old market was gorgeous. Check-in/out was a breeze and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was very clean and cozy, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a modern, simplistic feel to it. Overall, I had a great experience. I'll definitely be a returning customer. Breakfast was not very good and there was no microwave in the room, but those were my ONLY dislikes.
the location, room décor and comfortable beds. nothing. there is a convenience store called Cubbies next door which has anything you might need. Very cool area with giant fountains at the ConAgri park which we could see from our window.
Friendly service and easy to locate didn't like that the sauna didn't work
Quick check in, staff was friendly, good breakfast.. Floors were a little hard, just thin carpet over concrete, shower controls were overly complicated, wish the bar was open..
This hotels looks like it had seen better days in the past. The curb appeal and entry is great but it stops there. Hotel was dirty and carpets were stained. Bed linens were old and stained. Seems like maintenance is under-staffed as there were broken items in the hotel room (e.g. A lamp didn't work and the toilet kept making loud noises every half hour). I wouldn't recommend staying here.
Good hot breakfast, and good location close to freeway Dirty, threadbare sheets and towels, maintenance needed, internet is so slow as to be unusable.
Staff was friendly. It was quiet and clean. The bed was comfy. The appliances; tv, microwave, etc. were outdated.
The breakfast was wonderful. Expansive. The pool was heated and very clean. Our room was clean. Run down in places. The sauna didn't work while we were there.
There was no mention of a room deposit on tge website or any emails. I had to let them hold $25 per night on my card for "incidentals". Because this wasn't mentioned anywhere till I got to the motel I had not planned that extra expence.
The beds were comfy and the hotel staff was courteous. The hot breakfast was good. The lobby area looked nice and clean. Decent pricing, for our stay. The sauna wasn't heating up. The pool also had a light hanging out and the water was freezing. I saw a few pill bugs in our room.
Nothing Rude, misrepresented featured, they hate third party booking companies, they do not care if you are happy or stay.
The lobby...... It was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. The lobby was lovely and I never expected to walk into the building my room was in and see filthy floors up 2 flights of stairs. Like it had never been vacuumed ! Got to the room and the desk chair, which I needed was broken and in permanent lean. The hotel phone in the room also did not work. So we called the front desk for a chair and a phone and we were told when the maintenance man would be in later that day..... Any other hotel would have brought a chair and phone right away or switched us to a different room. Not this place. We took 4 hour nap on top of the sheets and checked out immediately.
Cost and it was authentic Minor up keep paint sauna didn't work
Good location The hotel is really starting to look worn. My shower went from scalding hot to ice cold. There was mildew in the corners of the tub grout. The complimentary coffee creamer in the room was a solid brick and never dissolved. Who knows how old it was. The coffee itself tasted like hot brown water. The little "store" area was completely depleted and I was told the manager hadn't been shopping. I did buy a small, individual bag of chips, which I was charged TWO dollars for!! I've stayed in this hotel about 3 times over the last 5 years and I feel like I'm tracking its slow death.
Helpful staff, airport shuttle and parking options were very nice.
Dirty hotelThe rooms were filthy The rooms were filthyThe place smelled like cigarette smoke
The room was very nice. Not very conveniently located.
Clean, easy to get to, and close to downtown. They have a daily fee ontop of the hotel price.
Comfortable, clean room for a great price through Kayak. Very friendly front desk and restaurant staff.
Nothing We booked a non smoking room. Arrived surly desk clerk advises only had smokers room on first floor near casino lobby. Room reeked of cigarette smoke. Dated and filthy carpets. Basically a take it or leave proposition...never again!
Paid $70 for the room. Was first time to this casino. Got their players card and received a free Buffet. The food wasn't anything special but the 24 kitchen they have is dope. Best quesadilla I've ever had. Got rolled at the casino. But that's any casino
The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Comfortable bed.
Free breakfast The prices of the rooms
I have a very hard time sleeping in hotels, but not here. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel is well-built I never heard any noise from other rooms. Very clean. Great staff, especially Kaytee. Nothing. I will stay at the New Victorian every time I'm in Omaha.
Great beds, quiet rooms, friendly staff, very easy to get to and from Definitely putting this on my places to stay again.
This was perfect for us - clean, good breakfast, polite staff, and only 15 minutes away from the zoo which is why we were in Omaha. No frills but this is a great place for the price! We arrived around 9:30 at night and there were 4 or 5 men hanging around the front entrance. Not sure what the deal was with them but they didn't seem to be bothering anyone - just made you wonder if it was the safest neighborhood. The next night when we came back to the motel, there was again several men hanging around outside the front entrance. But like I said they didn't seem to be bothering anyone.
There was barely enough water pressure to operate shower. Fixing that would definetly upgrade this hotel. Evidently not an upgraded room. Mattresses weren't the best but have had worse.
The price and location! Breakfast was cold and seemed like leftovers from the day before.
Loved the breakfast selection!!!! I also appreciate how clean everything was! The beds were uncomfortable.
Clean room, quiet night, bathroom very nice
Super comfortable beds. Staff is very friendly. Big screen TV's. mini fridges and Microwaves in every room. This is my 5th stay and I won't stay anywhere else in Omaha. The value is excellent. Peeling paint in the bathroom from moisture. It wasn't excessive, but it was there. Breakfast while meager is adequate, but does seem to be a few days old.
Great price and location for night stay on s long road trip. Good breakfast and clean room.
The breakfast was nice. The front lobby was nicely remodeled and felt welcoming. I booked this hotel because the website said that it was newly remodeled. I didn't want to stay in a run down, old hotel. The front lobby looked great so I was very excited - HOWEVER NOT ALL the rooms are updated, only a select few (and you can NOT request to have a new room), so I got an old, not updated room. I had to have them change the bedding because it looked dirty. I also needed them to change the shower head because it was so grungy and gross, water wouldn't even come out. The room smelled and looked old. I was disappointed, I thought it was going to be updated and remodeled as stated on the website!!!!
Clean and comfortable rooms, refrigerator in room. No real complains. the gravy and biscuits were a little blah, and cold. Breakfast offerings were mostly carbs and sugary stuff.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was within walking distance to local shops and restaurants There was an extra 10.00 charge for parking. The fire alarm went off at 2:00 am, and we had to evacuate while the fire department investigated. It turned out to be an electrical malfunction.
Mike I believe is his name was the shuttle driver and took our luggage to our room; he was great!
Room was geeat Could not get wifi in room
Loved being away from the interstate but still close enough that it was easy to access. Location was close to a lot of action but felt very safe. Solid room and nice view (6th floor) but nothing fabulous; basic upscale casual property. Paying for parking is a drag, but only $10 per night. Also, breakfast is not free/included in room price. Pool is quite small.
My friends and I stayed here for a birthday. We hit the hot tub and pool, then went out for dinner and drinks, and came back to sleep. Loved the modern, clean feel and the hot tub and pool. All was nice, quiet and comfortable. Appreciated floors 2+ being secure (needed a room key to access after a certain time). I did wish they had security at the front door.,My friends and I stayed here for a birthday. We hit the hot tub and pool, then went out for dinner and drinks, and came back to sleep. Parking was $10 for the garage but we found free street parking on the weekend. Breakfast is a bit expensive - $12 for hot breakfast, $6 for continental. Overall, a pretty good deal. With free hot breakfast, they would be a clear winner for this price range downtown. I am glad we chose this one, as it was quieter than the Holiday Inn or others nearby.
Great service, great facility, great staff Not in the old market area. Short walk away.
The attached parking garage and the knowledge along with the service the staff provided was excellent. Price for breakfast was pretty steep. Elevator lobbies for the parking garage were filthy.
Convenient location, good room, but nothing special Hot tub was broken and became a "cold" tub. The only breakfast available was $15 each for the buffet.. Also had to pay for parking.
Great food quality for breakfast
The room was clean, mostly. That's about it. I could feel springs of the cheap mattress through the non-existent bed pad, one thin blanket with no additional coverings available, and tiny, flimsy pillows I had to roll up in a tube to get any support made it impossible to get comfortable. I finally got a few hours sleep sitting in the stiff chair wrapped in the cheap chenille decorative throw. The rest of the room was Spartan, definitely a hotel about profit margins, exploiting gamblers visiting the casino across the street, not customer comfort.
clean, quiet, easy to find wish breakfast was earlier. it was part of the reason that i chose the hotel, but wasn't offered before 7:00 a.m. and our event that brought us to town required us to leave at 6:30 a.m.
The hotel was a great value for the money. Very nice rooms and great variety for continental breakfast, both hot and cold, during our stay
- Great room layout & amenities - Free breakfast - Excellent location - Comfortable bed - Passive-aggressive staff - Cleanliness of room not nearly to par with other Element/Westin properties we frequent - Worthless HVAC system...room was 80F+ our entire stay, forcing us to keep windows open in 20F weather
Love the location--it was great to be able to walk to the quality restaurants nearby.
Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Right off of the main road so the noise from the traffic was pretty bad
Location is great, breakfast, staff, comfort, facilites are great. We had NO control over the room temperature; why bother including an interface in the room if it doesn't respond? We were cold enough to need jackets at all times in the room. Also breakfast could be earlier, 6am would be much better than having to wait until 7am.
We absolutely love this hotel, the concept, and convenience of both the location and the ability to get whatever we needed at either the small hotel market, the attached grocery store and/or delicious food delivery. Wish there were more of these hotels! Paid parking, the breakfast could easily be improved with more fresh selection, our HVAC didn't work real well.
Friendly staff, good location, room decor is nice and well planned. The room and the bath could use more cleaning. Mold was growing in the shower.
Nice location and the room itself was great! I don't remember the last time I was in a hotel with a full kitchen and even a stove within the room.... Would definitely recommend this place again
Location My schedule didn't allow us to stay longer
Everyone was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed myself very much. Maybe the fitness center could have used some more weight machines-I can do cardio outside anytime.
Close to old market, has a shuttle to get you just about everywhere you want to go in Omaha Internet was EXTRA, parking was EXTRA
The staff were very friendly and professional. The location is great for being able to walk to the market shops & Restaurants. The gym was well maintained and equipped. Beautiful lay out and love the water streams and fish! We stayed on the top floor and the vending machines ran out of complimentary snacks & drinks our first night ( we had a 3 night stay) The rooms although clean are starting to show their age and the decorations are dated could use a makeover
It is an excellent hotel, and very good price
nice clean room There was the national age group championship triathlon going on in Omaha. In fact, only a mile or so from hotel and they only had one person checking people in. Asked if we could have late check out....he didn't know. We would have to check in the morning. Asked if there would be a shuttle that could take us to the race since there were quite a few people staying at the hotel that were doing the race and once again....he didn't know. Would have to check later. He was the night manager on duty. Just thought they were unprepared for the large amount of people staying. I also know things happen so maybe they had someone quit unexpectedly that worked the front desk. so....
The room we had, had very high ceilings making the room feel so large. Very comfortable bedding and perfect for a few friends to stay for a night on the town. The room we got had huge windows and was a corner suite it was a little bright in the morning for a couple of girls with handovers, even with the black out curtains shut,
Loved the location!!
Steve Skelly is very customer oriented, and loves the property he manages. He used his expertise to solve a problem I had with another company. Many thanks! Ask him for an historic tour of the original entrance. AAA++++++
The staff was wonderful!
Great staff, great Cookies. Friendly people. Will stay again. Price was great.
Stayed here for a New Year's Eve party. This former Hilton Hotel of yesteryear is one old tired dog.
Everything was excellent, it is a good convienent place to stay in downtown Omaha
close to qwest centre
Breakfast was nice, when they would allow us to eat. They failed to mention the first day that if we didn't book through their hotel website we didn't get complimentary breakfast. The sheets and comforter had what looked to be blood stains on them when we arrived.
The rooms were clean and decent size. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again in the future. The only real issue was that the rate I was quoted through booking.com was not the rate the hotel had us confirmed at. They immediately made a copy of our confirmation slip and the rate was adjusted. It could have been a hassle had we not brought written confirmation of the rate.
Next to casino, if that is important. hallways smelled like old smoke when we checked in.
Location was good for being central to activities The sink and shower drained slowly and had standing dirty water.
Close to interstate Room especially the bed smelled awful. Like someone had just used the corner of the room as a restroom.
