Location, close to hospital I woke up after my first night here, having reserved a two night stay for work. I pulled back the sheets and saw what looked like a few ticks on the sheets...quickly packed up all my clothes and went down to the front desk, told the receptionist what I had seen. These were in fact BED BUGS. I was offered another room, went down to it to put my laptop and purse down so I could use both hands to pack the rest of my things. As I unlocked the new room, I quickly noticed the room wasn't clean. I proceeded to tell the desk this, and she knew it wasn't clean, just said I will tell housekeeping to stop over. Never once did I receive an apology, or Amy offers to help clean my clothes or asked any questions about bites, etc. you'd think these people would've tanked me for telling them about this new 'issue' People, I will NEVER again stay at this Super 8 and will NEVER again book my hotel via 3rd party....I was not able to cancel the 2nd night stay due to the fact that they never picked up the phone when I called their 1-800 number. So I had no choice. Stay another night in a crappy hotel that has bed bugs !! When I was done with my work that day at the hospital, I again stopped at the desk and asked to speak to a manager...she was aware of the 'issue' I had the night before and told me the exterminator would be there as soon as possible and the bed was stripped. That's great, but how could she make it right!? She did absolutely nothing since I booked 3rd party... SO DISAPPOINTED
