Scheduling oversiteAppreciated the confirmation call.My pickup was scheduled and confirmed for 2:00 on a Saturday. I arrived at 1:55 and the business was closed for the day. I took a cab back to the airport and rented from a different agency.

Loved the chevy cruseI've rented cars several times from several locations, my best experience ever. In and out very quickly.Location is very hard to get in and out of, traffic in Lafayette is horrible, but it was worth it.

MehBecause my flight was late they had to move my reservation to the airport branch instead of the off the airport branch and I ended up having to pay about $50 more bucks. The counter clerk was nice, he tried to get me some discounts. But their drop off location is in a weird lot that has you walk through the side of the airport and there is no one there to hand the keys to. So you go to the same counter you got the car from and of course they ask what your mileage was, like I know?

Enterprise did not have the van in its fleet.I made the reservation to only have to cancel it cause Enterprise did not have the van I requested. They did not help me much for my inconivince.Same

Helpful staff, flexible returnEnterprise staff could not have been more helpful. Our return flight was cancelled due to snow, so we had to return the car to New Orleans rather than Lafayette. They changed the return and did not charge a one-way fee. Great car, excellent service, no nickel-and-dimeing. That's a winning combination.

needed to rent a car and only availability was a cargo van. Since there was only two people and no other choice we took it. Was given the oldest van on the lot. It was uncomfortable but managed the job. The drop off location given to us by Hertz in Dallas did not accept cargo vans so they sent us to another location 30 minutes away. Off course this one closes early so we left the van and keys in night drop box. No word on whether it was checked in the next day or not.

NothingThe vehicle being available. Pickup location said the vehicle wasn’t available and that the online reservation doesn’t care if anything is available that they get paid no matter what. The pick up locations wasn’t accommodating or tried to locate a vehicle at another location in the area.

I was given a full refund in 7 - 10 days.My car rental location was not at the airport where I landed. I had asked for Lafayette LA airport and was given an off-site location that was closed when I landed. Hertz managers did not help and left me stranded without a car and unable to get to my hotel an 1:45 mins away. Very disappointed.

A very busy rental car store.Professionalism, knowledge and courtesy of the Hertz store employees.This store is extremely busy and insurance paid rentals take longer to process than other types of reservations so they could use more employees to handle the ongoing demand for their cars. The parking lot is very small so it is hard to maneuver in it.

Hertz Lafayette LAThe rental price was fair.The fact that I had a flat tire and HERTZ had it towed 84 miles to Baton Rouge instead of 4 miles to the Lafayette airport. They claimed they had no maintenance facility. It seems absurd to tow a car that far and claim that no one could change a flat tire. The manager at the Lafayette airport (Deanne) refused to accept the car. I will NEVER rent from Hertz again, Patricia

Horrible!!!!!Got there to pick up my scheduled pickup to find out they had no vehicles available. I made this reservation days in advance. She tried to call aroumd no vehicles at any of their locations. Then offered a vehicle that had a broken seal to the door so if it would rain it would leak in the car. The reception was rude. Calked to get my money back so I can go to enterprise was told would take 5 business days for my money to be returned!!!!! I ended up getting a vehicle from enterprise service was great!!!

Hertz completely failed meI made a reservation for July 1st, noon. I called at 11:45 because I was afraid I'd be a little late, asked them to hold the car. They said "we have a half hour grace period. But we do t have any cars right now." The last time I checked, a reservation meant that they WOULD have a car on the date and time that the reservation was for. They said they would call me when they got cars. An hour later, I called back - no cars. I finally ended up renting from Budget rental car and paying through my nose for it. I'm a comedian and I was on tour and had to be in Lake Charles, LA for a show that night. Hertz NEVER called with a car, or ever called to apologize. I'll never use Hertz again if I can help it, this is the textbook definition of "piss-poor" service.

worst never choose hertzI booked car about three weeks before. i checked with them few days before the date of travel also but on the day of travel when i went to take my car it was not there. They simply said sorry and did not pay for my loss. They charged me the insurance fee. neither did they texted or emailed me about it before hand. I recommend not to choose Hertz ever for your travel.....
