Drop Off Crew Extremely Rude at EuropCar DXB

Pros: The car was nice and the man who helped me in the morning was nice.

Cons: When I went to drop off the car, there were no signs. We accidentally entered the wrong parking area (A3). But they wouldn't let us leave the parking area without paying - even though it was 0 minutes there, in and out. They insisted we leave the car and walk over to A2 where Europcar was - the man for dropoff was rude, yelled at me and insisted I pay the parking fines and move the car (it was a 2 min walk). I had to eventually yell back (and I don't like to do that) and refuse to pay, and he finally walked over with us, inspected the car and let us go. Incredibly unprofessional, not renting from them again.

Europcar is a scam

Pros: Nothing

Cons: We booked and had a confirmation email with the price for the rental for 8 days. When we arrived the person at the desk had all our reservation information but said the price was 4 times what our email said. When we showed him the confirmation stating the vehicle and the price, he said “I cannot do that price, this is my best price” and the amount was four times our confirmed reservation amount. We have since checked back to see if we misunderstood the email but no, they just offer one price online and then when you get there adjust the price and will not honor the confirmation from online. The worst part is when this was happening the guy behind us in line said “oh yeah they do that all the time, every time I rent with europcar they charge way more than when you originally book, it’s a huge scam” he said the only reason he uses them is because it is a company card so not his money. I would NEVER use them again. We had to scramble to find another company last minute and got a car from them for a more reasonable rate.

Be very careful of the currency when you book your vehicle.

Cons: I booked the vehicle in AED(local currency in Dubai) and I have an email confirmation for this, but when I got to the rental desk I was told the amount would need to be paid in dollars. So the reservation turned out almost 4 times the amount. Even though I had an email confirmation with the currency clearly written in AED, they would not honor it. They already had the slowest and most pathetic service I’ve ever experienced in my life, so I went ahead and just paid the amount to save my time. I highly would not recommend this company.

Cons: It took way too long (~45) min to get the car out at rental place. Car was not clean. It took two follow-up emails to get the rental invoice emailed to me.

Cons: Hidden charges I asked for car seat but they were out

Cons: They give me a smaller car Pajero and I'm very upset for that and they sad it's kayak mestic .
