Cons: Van -- drivers seat didn't adjust only when back/forward; doors wouldn't unlock until you were right next to door, always had to use fob to unlock; shimmed and swayed to the point we thought we had flat tire; very noisy;
Prepaid thinking that was best way -- returned day early and won't give credit as prepaid.
Was not impressed, will go with another company next time.

Attempt to overcharge
Pros: The assistance received in Fond du Lac was wonderful. During the trip we realized we were going to cut our trip short and I called and the attendant was so helpful in advising the difference in price for several different airports.
Cons: Our return at BWI was not good. We pulled in and were advised we would have to go in. I had made this reservation in my husbands name, so he went to the counter. After being assisted with by one person he was passed to another one. I joined at the counter and the gentleman showed my husband the cost on the computer screen, but didn't say the amount just pointed to it. My husband pointed to it for me to see. I didn't have my glasses and informed them they needed to tell me the amount. It was around $1,000 more than my reservation. I then pulled out my reservation along with the revised amount provided to me by the Fond du Lac location. My charges were then adjusted. Not sure what was going on, but we were disappointed at the service in Baltimore.

Cons: This Hertz location charges you $0.25 per mile if you go over 200 miles... that was not listed anywhere. Thankfully I only needed it for a day to get me to and from work while my car was being fixed... I would hate to use it for a vacation, that would be very difficult to monitor my mileage.
Pros: The Kia was so nice. Smooth and safe ride for our long road trip

Bait and Switch
Pros: Nice car after I upgraded
Cons: I selected this company based on a very good price. When I picked up the car, I was informed that it didn't have cruise control. This was the first thing mentioned by the representative which suggests to me that they order them this way to force you into a $10/day upgrade. When I returned the car 2 days early, they would only refund the upgrade fee for the 2 days ($20).
