The staff was friendly. The car had a bad odor of cigarettes but we bought some air fresheners that helped some.

We ended up having a blow out on the road and it took 2 days and ALOT of extensive holding times on the phone to get any help. What was worse was that the local offices never answered their phones during business hours to help in anyway. We gratefully got in contact with a representative that knew what she was doing, unlike the 3 others that were of no help at all - her name was Nicole. I couldn’t believe in a time like that how unprofessional and incompetent Hertz was. Good thing we weren’t completely stranded somewhere on the side of the road. One rep even told us we could contact our own tow truck (since there was no spare tire) and claim it on OUR insurance. What in the bloody?? Its not my vehicle!! What a fiasco. In the end it all worked out but I still haven’t gotten any response to my refund request for the 2 days we were without the vehicle.

I was scheduled to pick up my rental at 10 am. When I arrived I was told there were no cars available. They were expecting delivery from another city and it would be at least an hour. I would have appreciated a call advising of the delay. At 11:30 I was provided a car and an apology.

When I picked up my car, branch manager Danielle told me that they would give me a ride home after drop-off if I needed it. I did. It was quick, convenient, and easy. In a world where customer service is struggling because of covid, Hertz did a great job. I was really impressed.

Hertz sent me off site and I had to pay $25 for an Uber to get there. Unacceptable.

Reserved a car and then found out there wasn’t even a car available twenty minutes before pick up.
