Pros: Excellent customer service, the guys at Hertz were so generous and able to drive me to my bank to put more cash in my account to make final payment, the discount added on my rental wasnt bad either. Awesome, smooth ride. Mahalo!!

not very happy
Pros: dropping the car off and using express drop off worked well.
Cons: 1. Took nearly 2 hours to get a vehicle, even though I had a reservation.
2. Vehicle was FILTHY inside and outside; I did not accept it the first time because of how dirty it was. They allegedly washed it, but I think it was actually dirtier the second time they showed it to me. I refused it again and they finally did wash it. Windows were FILTHY inside and out, but because I had already waited so long, I went to a gas station and cleaned them myself.
3. My attendant went to lunch during the transaction and had not completed the paperwork (did not even start it), which just added to the delay in getting into the vehicle.
4. They were very aggressive to the point of being rude about the insurance that I had purchased online versus their own insurance. They implied the insurance was sub-par and that if I had a claim, Hertz was going to make my claim hard to deal with.
Overall, this was a horrible experience. I would not use this location of Hertz again ever. In fact, I may be done with Hertz altogether after this experience.

Pros: Nice and nippy car. Clean and cheap to run.
Cons: Hard to get to/from the pick up point as it was quite remote and not on the tram line.
Also an automatic, but I guess there's not much choice on that.
Would have been good to know how much the young driver fee was before as well.

Cons: Sales rep was mocking at my insurance as I refused to buy insurance. Return agent was also very unfriendly.

Please Call Me!
Cons: I returned the car after 2 weeks, but was charged 1 full month on the multi-month program. They rented the car i returned to the lady directly behind me in line. Illegally doubling their profits. I've called 4 times and have been told "Call this dept. Call this store. No call this Dept." I feel cheated and Hertz couldn't care less!

Pros: Quick processing of pick up and drop off. Selection of cars is good. Car was clean.
Cons: Branch manager never in office and I'm still waiting for a call back regarding a charge waiver. I extended my rental over the phone and was given an updated amount. When i asked for an email confirmation they said it couldn't be provided. However when I returned the car I was charged $50 more! Employees said they couldn't do anything and the branch manager wasn't present on two different days when I followed up.

Kayak.com really messed me up on this....
Cons: I got tickets to fly to San Jose through Kayak, then a rental car at the same time... chose the best deal. Unfortunately the Hertz car rental was not at the airport, it was 10 minutes away... and nobody would help unless I "paid an extra $200". Frustrating at best.
Cons: Knob shifter on car. One of 4 round knobs - poor human engineering by Chrysler
Windshield was not clean. Streaks visible when driving into sun.

Good and Not So Good
Pros: Our car wasn't ready so they offered a free upgrade, fast service, no hard sale on extras.
The only (2) problems we had was the guy helping us wasn't very knowledgeable about credit card issues and what he told us about how much gas we had wasn't what we had. When we returned the car it was the same amount as when we left but the guy said we were short on gas and charged us extra. Not to happy about that!!! Double play!!!

Refused car and went somewhere else
Cons: I made a special trip to the office ahead of my trip to verify that they could supply me with a small car. I was assured multiple times that they could & even saw a car in the parking lot to indicate the size required.
On the day of my trip, I was presented with a mid size sedan and I was almost in tears.
I refused the car, made a new reservation, got a ride to Hertz at the airport, and left with a Ford Focus, over 2 hours late for my trip.

It started with a rental
Pros: I loved everything about the experience. I can in for an intermediate SUV, but I was a signed a full size. The price didn't change and the price was excellent. Everyone at the center was friendly and amicable. I was thrown off by the greetings from the employees that weren't even helping me. Those little details make for an excellent experience. The over all rental experience was great and I'll definitely rent with them again.
Cons: There was very little that I didn't like from this experience.

Great experience overall
Pros: Daily rate was significantly lower than picking up at the airport. Staff was friendly. Got a free upgrade in vehicle type, which was unexpected and fun (we got a FIAT!) Car was clean.
Cons: Ended up not liking the car (not Enterprise's fault). It shifted horribly which made getting a freeways kind of scary. The vehicle only had half a tank in in when we picked it up, not a huge deal, because it meant we had less to put into it upon return. No shuttle service to and from airport was offered, I even asked about it and the answer was "no" but when picking up I saw a shuttle? Just meant when it was time to drop off we had to schedule in extra time to get to the airport on time while we picked up an uber. Lastly, on return day, we were there to drop off at 7:15, they don't open until 7:30 am. There were a handful of employees coming in and out, only one person greeted us. I get that, they weren't open yet. But we needed to get going, so we dropped the keys in the key drop box, and grabbed our uber to the airport. Then that evening (after literally the whole day) I received a call from them to let me know my total charges, and they tried to charge me for an extra day. I clarified with them very easily that I dropped the car off prior to them even opening, and most definitely did not keep it an extra day, and they fixed the issue immediately and I did not incur a charge. But a tad bit concerning nonetheless.

Pros: Pick up and drop off were smooth. No hassle for changing the pick-up and the drop off location. That was very appreciated.
Cons: Car could have been cleaner. Several stains on the driver's seat.

Pros: I liked the car. Drove good and was wonderful on gas.
Cons: I was not told on the phone that I had to have proof of insurance and because of that I missed my appointment. I only picked Enterprise because it was close to my apartment and the price was right. I got a car with only a half of tank of gas so I had to make a stop to fill it up on the way and that also caused me to miss my appointment. I will never rent from Enterprise again even if you offered me free cars for a year.
